Best long-term shots are definitely ETH and NEO like most people already mentioned. Very good coins for long-term in my opinion are also XLM, ICX and STRAT. If you want low marketcap with possible hihger gains very good are: ECC, VIBE, ONION and XSPEC.

Just as a general question - how and where do you guys find ICOs worth investing? The amount of them always seems overwhelming to me sometimes.
I have several discussion Telegram groups about ICOs, then I look at the rating on ICOdrops and ICObench - after this I selected several ICOs - then I read the whitepaper, assess the idea, compare it with some competitors in the area a evaluate if the token has an actual use or is just worthless. Good source of valid information is also this forum and reddit. My favourites for February and March - Credits, Bubbletone, Effect AI and NEX (Neonexchange) - I really believe in the future of NEO platform ICOs - they are the future! |

Neo is definitely best of those 3. It will directly compete with ETH in 2019 and maybe overthrone ETH in 2019. NEO tokens are much faster nad better than ETH tokens. New exchange coming in March - Neonexchange and montly paying GAS - NEO is a sleeping giant of year 2018.

Market will be bearish until th end of February, lets see if Chinese New Year will have an impact or not, beacuse of the chinese ban. But after that, a slow recover will begin in March, hopefully.

I would definitely go fo NEO, because NEO will be the new Ethereum in 2019 - NEO platform is faster and much more developed than ETH platform. Many ICOs switched the platform towards NEO.

Hmm, I miss NEO, Stellar and ICON among those... Apple should reconsider - forget so important and promising coins!

I'm dissapointed by the whole-cryptomarket. I came in December and early January and now I'm around 50 % down with my portolio. Biggest disappointment is with TIO, PRL, SUB and SEND - these are 70 - 75 down in 1 month!

It is best to invest in stable coins from TOP100 that can handle even these DIPS: I would defeinitely buy:
NEO - many new ICOs come to this platform, maybe overthrone ETH in the future
XLM - Stellar develops pretty fast, some new announcements
XRP - yeah yeah, it is centralised, but had only good news in January and February, still is really over-corrected right now. Will go back to 3 USD in some time until Summer
ICX - "korean Ethereum" - mainnet is live, great idea, great announcements
STRAT - sleeping giant, really promising 2018 ahead
BNB - Binance is the best exchange, more trades there = increase of value of this coin
From smaller marketcaps = higher risk, but higher possible gains: ONION, ECC, PRL, ELTCOIN.

Check Effect AI - it is very prominisng ICO on NEO platform comin in March. The technology look very good, AI + blockchain is the future!

Long term is definitely better for people who normally go to work. But if you shoot the right moonshot, you can sell early with a nice profit of course.

I invested in NEO, when it was pretty cheap - it will hit 160 USD easily this year, maybe even 200 USD. Good picks are also ICX, XLM and STRAT. XRP of course will go up this year, I expect the price aroun 2 USD in Summer, and 3-4 USD in Autumn and Winter. I also invested in several ICOs when market is down - Vestarin, NapolenX and Omnitude.

I think that both will exist together for a long time. Stellar platform is pretty god for ICOs too. For now Im a big fan of NEO platform - NEX, Effect and Bridge protocol ICOs look very promising. NEO is the sleeping giant of 2018.

Binance is top exchange with good security protocols, I dont believe they got hacked. FUD is just everywhere these days..

Please check Effect AI - I know you dont like mixing AI and blockchain, but this project on NEO platform looks really good.
Also ICO for April - Ternio on Stellar platform looks promising.

Ripple had only positive news during January and February...and still not positive turn on price...it has been corrected and hardly. The XRP coin is very over-corrected right now and I believe it will be pumped to 1.5 USD in month or so...and then it will rise slowly with the rest of crypto coins. At the end of the year I expect the price between 4-6 USD, depending of continuing partnership with more financial institutions and also on the total marketcap of crypto at all. Many people dont like this coin, but it will definitely grow this year.

1. Dont buy now - wait for the final DIP before Chinese NEw Year...BTC can go to 6k again, maybe even 5k - then BUY THE DIP
2. Diversify your portfolio. Here is my suggestion:
30% to ETH, 30 % to strong coins from TOP 30 - NEO, XLM, ICX, STRAT, 20 % to small marketcaps: there are many of them, do your own research, me personally prefer low marketcap coins with good team and clear roadmap - like ECC and LUX, good picks are also ONION and VIBE. And the final 20 % invest into ICOs you prefer after your own research. From upcoming pretty good are Credits, Effect, Current and Bubbletone.

During January I invested in: TravelFlex, PM7, Storiqa, KYC Legal, Iungo, HireMatch, SCORUM, Daneel, Napoleon X and Vestarin.
In February and March I plan to invest in: Credits, Bubbletone and also in NEO platform ICOs: Effect and NEX.
In April also in Ternio (Stellar platform).
Currently I'm in airdrop of Nucleus Vision and Current.

Well, it depends a lot on the market condition. Now we have really bearish market, price of the ICOs are usually fixed, so in my opinion now is better time to invest in some coins with good team, realistic roadmap and low marketcap, because when the market comes to normal values and gets bullish, you will have nice 2-3x profit and still a good coin in your wallet.
Simply said: ICO is more risky with more possible reward. But on bearish market I prefer actual coins.
