Ripple is considered the worst alternative cryptocurrency.

Made purely to profit owners.

Different servers, different coins, different payout models, same hashing speed:

yes, it seems so.

Greatly appreciated if H2o could explain us better...  what is happening...

eu servers are mining different coins then us servers?   and asia server??
doubt we'll get h2o answer..

common sense he is testing different options to choose best one and make this setting to all servers,
but the problem is he is doing it for a month now and bad configured servers causing miners to loose profit.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Do Pools Charge Hidden Fees? on: February 02, 2014, 03:29:01 PM
when pool is not transparent and lacking communication you can't know what happens behind the scenes.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com on: January 25, 2014, 03:58:55 PM
Guys and gals,

Please consider allocating at least half of your hash to hasbros.co.in as soon as possible.

I had mined at middlecoin before but the lack of transparency and communication troubled me. Multipool is a viable option as well, but I am excited about hashbros:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=395748.0
http://www.reddit.com/r/litecoinmining/comments/1ua4d6/hashbros_multicoin_pool_with_profit_switch_alpha/

Hashbros offer transparent communication from the pool founders since they themselves were victims of frauds and hacks, so they seem to believe in open communication and as much transparency as possible. They offer lower fees, much better security, nicer web ui.

Middlecoin, simply, has grown to too big for altcoins. Because of its size, it can't mine some altcoins, for fear that it will crush the exchangeability of that weak coin. Additionally, do you really want one pool to dominate in such a way that it monopolizes?

I know change is hard. But sometimes you have to do the right thing.

Good luck to us all!

no auto exchange?
this saves a lot of headache

are you running SGminer 4.0.0.?
Me either, and it keeps showing me the same wrong difficulties. started cgminer 3.7.2 and it short the right ones.
Hope this wont affect payouts.
you right it was sgminer on my test rig

Don't think this will affect payouts or anything.
i am mining somewhere else, but i always have my test/crap rigs pointed to crap pools to keep me updated Grin

noticed new coins mined at middlepool by difficulty,
~30M
~2.5M
~460K

by difficulty, at least the higher ones are SHA256 coins.
must be very profitable to mine with gpu...

sh*tty payout today, I love it! Because I want the china farmer gone, gone gone from this pool! I want the recent arrivals to leave as well! Be gone! This pool has grown TOO BIG TOO FAST, can't handle the stated objective. The longer you stay, the worse payouts will get. Go join the multipool, hashco.ws or mine LTC, PPC, TRC, DOGE, or other MORE PROFITABLE coins!!!
That's what I thought, but I think it's incorrect.
Probably altcoin mining game is over, very soon it will not be profitable as it was till now.

Looking at coinwarz, there are no coins with more than 2000% profit over bitcoin,
two weeks ago there were about 15 coins which are above 3500% profit over bitcoin.

Guess the market is stabilizing and our mining game gets to an end.

EDIT: also litecoin until recently was 2500% over bitcoin, now its down to 1200%
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com on: January 10, 2014, 07:58:29 PM
middlecoin algorithm seems flawed.

if mining switches every minute, according coin profitability so the exchange must be instant while its profitable

and if coins not exchanged instantly, what is switching every minute good for?

middlecoin grew too big and became like multipool but with unseen/unheard dictator who makes no desicions and not giving other possibilities except following blindly

240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Development on: January 10, 2014, 07:50:29 PM
GPU that you buy now, you can sell for at least 50% in 6 months,
When/if miners arrive, they have limited time to mine in unknown difficulty that may never ROI and you can throw them in the garbage..
