I prefer choosing ethereum rather than bitcoin. As you can see in the chart. Ethereum is faster to pump than bitcoin. Also research for their team and whitepaper.

The price drops after the ico because of the bounty. There are also a lot of person participating in the bounty on some ico and after it was listed in the exchange site, their plan is to dump the coin.

In my own perspective, I will always choose altcoins rather than bitcoin because unlike bitcoin, you can buy more coins in altcoin and altcoin recover its value faster than the bitcoin.
