221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will coins like eBTC, eLtc, eDash, eNeo survive ? on: October 11, 2017, 05:11:51 PM
i think that only the first coin eBTC will survive , all the Remainder coin are scam , if you look at these ann thread project you dont find any information about the price , the team and roadmap .

ya, 99% airdrop will fall down quickly in short-term, but sometimes we could have some good coin such as XLM. The best way before invest any crypto is that focus on the project and the team.  Wink
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Long Term HODL Cryptos on: October 11, 2017, 04:59:26 PM
Well, HODLING for 4-5 years? Probably not the best strategy. Looking at the chart, the fluctuations of price on altcoin are drastic. So I suggest buy low sell high. HODL maybe a portion of coin and swing trade the rest. No point to HODL for that long for gains when you can make 10x 100x gains swing trading within those five years.

If you want to HODL, HODL BTC 4 EVA!!!
I absolutely agree with you, HODLING all coins for 5 years are too risky. Dont put all eggs in one basket.  Grin
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: To Buy BCH or not to Buy BCH? on: October 11, 2017, 03:32:46 PM
In my opinion, Instead of investing on BCH, u should find other coins with a good project when ICO can go up quickly in the future.  Grin
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Please recommend me 1 best Altcoin to buy on: October 11, 2017, 03:19:15 PM
I think that u should do a research which coins that ICO from a good project and market cap is under 200$ million such as Civic, Nexus, Monaco,... Because of the price ez is x2, x3,...  Wink
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: sell or no?? on: October 11, 2017, 02:46:15 PM
if the coin you buy suddenly goes down, what do you do?
panic sell or hold ??
Depending on the coin do you hold if it would have a potential or just a signal of totally being dumped forever and become a shitcoin.Sometimes panic sell of cut losses do help but on some cases only specially on coins which is solely made for pump and dump scheme and this is always been the risk. If you do invest on a certain coin which do have a good volume then most likely i will hold up no matter what.
If you see the coin that it has a potential definitely you can hold for a long term. Because it is normal process that coin may go down or up. Yes it depends on the coin you invest, if it is worth it dont sell and observe the market.
yup, I think before u decide to sell or not, u should spend the time to do a research about that coins. which team make that coins? Their projects are good or not?....
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you using Bitcoin Cash? on: October 11, 2017, 02:35:13 PM
Nope, the coin gained value from the association with the bitcoin fork and who knows how long that will last. It was not really a fork and is basically a new coin that acts like there was a special fork and it takes advantage of that misunderstanding. This cannot last forever and once people get it, then it will lose value very quickly.
ya, I absolutely agree with u, look at the chart in the nearest month, the BCH price is falling down very quickly. It just a copy of Bitcoin
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Give me a coin that will easily go 3x on: October 11, 2017, 09:51:17 AM
to find out a coin that is going 10x is really hard, lets be realist.
But 2x - 3x is far more easy, any thoughts?  Roll Eyes

Now is a good time to buy cheap altcoin. You can also wait and see the altcoin price for 2 more weeks and buy altcoin.
Some potential coin and maybe x 2, x 3:
- Dgb
- Stratis
- Sc
- Aby
- Xem
- Safex

I think that DGB and Stratis will go up to the moon soon. I dont think SC, ABy, Xem hard to double up now.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best ICO in October on: October 11, 2017, 09:38:17 AM
The last ICOs suffered 60-70% of the time. Now I see all the ICOs as risky.
ya I think now 99% ICO are scam or fail project. Hard to find a good ICO at this time.

230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: October 02, 2017, 08:33:02 PM
Bitconnect getting that nice payout daily. I don't have to work anymore I guess..
how many bitconnect you get daily if you invest 10k$? look interesting

You won't get BCC coin, you will get in USD which you can convert to BCC coin anytime

Don't be so naive, you're not getting USD, you're basically getting some value thats has nothing to with USD, so really all BCC is doing is giving you free BCC, since they own all the BCC and control it all (28 million) If you're really getting USD then why can't you do nothing with it on their platform but buy BCC? You can't withdraw the so called USD to your bank.

You are speaking without having any idea of BCC. You exchange your USD for BCC and then you can exchange BCC for Bitcoin currently at the rate of $135 per BCC. You can do whatever you want with your Bitcoin.   Why is it so difficult to understand?

I think the first point he was trying to make is that while it's tracked and calculated in dollars on the bitconnect website, you never actually own real world dollars in this system. They are just using dollars as the currency the payouts/loan system is based on/tracked in. But you don't actually have a bank account somewhere with those dollars in it in your name. They could just as easily have called them bitconnect bananas and said 1 bitconnect banana = 1 dollar, but obviously it just makes sense to track it in dollars as that's what the price of bitcoin is mainly tracked in and is of course easier to understand for everyone.
It makes no difference because the only way to cash out the dollars (or bitconnect bananas) is to convert them to BCC on their system first at whatever the current BTC/USD and BCC/BTC prices dictate. And then of course you're free to withdraw either BCC or BTC.

He is of course mistaken about them controlling 28 million BCC though as that many don't even exist. And of the 7+million that do exist obviously many of them are in private hands now.

It doesn't matter whether it's called bitconnect bananas or bitconnect shit. Right  now you get real USD $135 for a piece of it. If you have 1 BCC, you will get 0.031 BTC ($135) right now.  Just because they don't send it directly to your bank account does not mean it's fake $$. YOU can transfer it to BTC and then transfer it to your Bank Account if you are really so concerned of your bank balance. No one is stopping you from doing it.

Not sure you understand the point I was making but never mind. It's a similar line of thinking to trading a CFD of a stock. You can 'buy' or 'sell' the stock and cash out the profit but you never actually own the stock itself, you're just trading on the price. It doesn't make the profits any less real once you cash them out.

Just for a quick example imagine I create a coin called MJCOIN. The only currency I own in the world is 1 MJCOIN and I sell it to you for 1 BTC, and you then lend the MJCOIN back to me to trade with in exchange for interest (exactly the same as BCC). I represent your account with me in dollars based on the bitcoin price on the day you loan me the 1 MJCOIN, but I still don't actually own any dollars.
At this point I now own 1 MJCOIN that you have lent back to me and also the 1 BTC that you paid me, so I can trade both of these to make more to pay you interest with. At no point are there any actual dollars in this system, it's just the currency we are using to keep track of everything. That is of course not to say there is no value in the system, and when you cash out you can convert your earnings to dollars, but that will be done somewhere else.

As long as they are solvent it makes no difference anyway because as you say you can just convert it to BCC and then either withdraw that or sell them for BTC and then convert it to dollars somewhere else.

If you got $100 in the bank, you got $100 in the bank. Don't overthink.  When you spend the $100 that was in the bank no need to think whether they gave you back the same $100 you gave them or a new $100 or someone else's $100 or they converted some MJCOIN and  then sold the MJCOIN to give you the $100
The problem only come if alot of people try to withdraw their money but this should not be a problem aslong as BitConnect keeps growing. Same thing if I created my own bank and 3 people deposited 300$ I could spend 100$ myself and those 3 people would never know it unless all 3 of them was to try withdraw their 100$ each they would notice one of the 3 people would not get their 100$ because I spent it on something myself.
but bitconnect use last 200$ to trade and get back 1000$ so bitconnect give 3 people - 300 $. now they got 200$ profit
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ★[ANN] EthereumDARK-ETHD | For REAL investors ONLY | PoS | Bounties | Anonomity★ on: October 02, 2017, 08:31:34 PM
There are so many comments from so many people asking about the airdrops. If you want to support ETHD and the growing community, the best way to do it is to buy some ETHD. Do what I and many others have done.

#1. Get some BTC, ETH or LTC
#2. Visit one of the exchanges that lists Ethereum Dark
#3. Buy some ETHD
#4. Stake your ETHD
#5. Stop asking about the airdrops (The ETHD Team will disqualify you for constantly asking about ETHD airdrops)

Do i have to install the wallet and hold my ETHDs there or may i hold'em by exchange too? My antivirus suspect a trojan by wallet installation.

You can stake on exchange, most wallets will trip antivirus unfortunately it’s due to factors outside of our control ( there no virus in the wallet, the exchanges use the same wallet and wouldn’t run something with a virus)

I use the latest version of Bitdefender and it didn't trip an antivirus warning. I personally would recommend installing the wallet and holding your ETHD there.

By the way, how does someone stake on an exchange? I didn't know that CoinExchange and NovaExchange will allow you to stake on their exchange. Most exchanges that I'm come across do not allow you to stake on them.

On CoinsMarkets exchange is possible to trade coins and earn stake reward.

I can confirm. I keep my ETHD in the CoinsMarkets wallet and received stake on it. I think it's more profitable that way anyway, since exchange wallets are online 24/7. That way you don't need to leave your laptop or PC on at night just to receive stake.

you've got some balls to keep coins staking at exchange like coinex...what if gets hacked?
many people still keep their coin on an exchange like this. that is too risk. hope we have an decentralized exchange soon

236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥⭐[ANN] WiC|Monetizing WiFi Sharing| ⭐🔥 Markets open on Livecoin 🔥⭐ on: October 02, 2017, 06:32:25 PM
Could someone explain the benefits of using WiC App in highly populated areas like major cities? I'd say as soon as a few people "sell" their wifi, in order to compete with these and draw any traffic to your own hotspot your price would soon need to drop to near zero.. furthermore, in a highly populated area chances of people misusing your wifi and causing you legal problems seem quite real..

I've read the devs statement on page 1 that misuse is unlikely since people wanting to commit harm would be more likely to go to a free-WiFi spot at like MacDonalds rather then pay WiC for yours.. this logic however (to me) seems broken. For if there is a free-WiFi spot nearby why would anyone else rather choose to pay WiC for yours? Could be bandwidth/connection speed but the same would apply for scammers etc.. Also, everyone knows that at free-WiFi spots there is usually a ton of logging taking place.. while if you could use someones private WiFi you'd be much more anonymous..

So, as far as I see it.. high risks (misuse of your WiFi causing you legal problems) for small / neglectable gains.

In more remote locations where WiFi spots are (very) scarce it might be profitable to run the app but it would still be (in my eyes) a huge security risk and you probably won't draw a lot of traffic in less densely populated zones (so again, not much to gain..).

If anyone could explain me why I'm looking at this the wrong way round, please explain Smiley.

---

PS: If the price goes to moon because of pure speculation however, it might still be fun to buy and hodl a few and sell at peak..
some country don't have free wifi like that. Sometime we must pay 10$ for 1 hour access wifi

239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] REAL [ICO] Invest in Real Estate, Earn Ether [AUGUST TOKEN SALE] on: October 02, 2017, 06:22:06 PM
Where are we currently at in terms of raised amount of money?

The ICO raised just over 37k ETH, which would be around $11 million.
not much money as I expect from this project but still congratulations to real estate team

Well, I'm not sure if that is including the presale. In any case, I'm here for the long run, because real estate is one of my areas of interest. So I can't wait for the platform to launch and see what we can do with it!

can't wait to see how to use real token on real platform. real estate is most profit business in my country
