221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the cause of the dump on the market. on: December 20, 2018, 11:03:30 AM
Though there is no scientific proof to this but it appears to have some element of truth in it. Throughout the bear season, Etherium never had any major reversal just like so many other altcoins including btc. And the current price level is the main reason why some ICO's are finding it to reach their soft cap while the hard cap is a far cry. This was also found on some other token based coins such as waves and  Neo.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is regulation good or bad? on: December 20, 2018, 10:50:30 AM
I used to think regulation will mean bad to crypto since it will provide a kind of centralized management which is against the the idea behind the development of the crypto payment system but with recent developments especially as regards several scam ICO's, Regulation will bring a lot of sanity to the market and boost investors confidence
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why deceiving others? on: December 20, 2018, 10:47:19 AM
The truth is never to take every advice thrown at you, a lot of persons just dish advice against what they practice, everyone here is an adult and we all are entitled to our opinions and responsible for every decision we take. Have seen people being advised to keep holding btc while at $15,000 and they are still holding till now. The best is for everyone to apply his own instinct and not always what you are told herr
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hope ahead for crypto currencies on: December 19, 2018, 10:09:45 AM
It is not good to be too hopeful and unhealthy not to be hopeful at all, these are basic reasons that is why many of us are still here, those that have left and given up never means they have lost hope entirely and may not use their ear to hear about bitcoin anymore. Yes there is hope but with very little uncertainty. It may take another long while
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am most worried now on: December 19, 2018, 09:59:21 AM
Eth particularly behaved like a shoticoin as its dump was so epic without any form of control. Being the base coin for most ICO's which most of the developers and holders dumped for were expected to be responsible for eth's drop and most of such ICO's equally were not spared with the dump as soon as listed. Who wasn't worried seeing the market dropping this huge except he is not an investor
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO's in 2018 on: December 19, 2018, 09:54:52 AM
Seeing that this thread was created in August 2017 when the bull season was about getting ready send some shivers down. This year's experience in crypto brings me to unlearn what I have been taught which one of the has to be that long term in crypto is a continuous growth. Such mindset brought in a lot of persons in 2017 and so far had borne many regrets. Most crypto related investments and projects held sway while the preceding year which is this year is just an opposite
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Concerning the future of bounty programs on: December 19, 2018, 09:48:47 AM
It is a very serious situation and period we have found ourselves in, A lot of persons had anticipated we would have a repeat of last year's event in crypto which. For bounty hunters, we have come to terms with the harsh realities and hope to make the best out of it. Crypto will never be down forever. Onku the projects that are able to survive now will pull through when the bull market returns
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether: not even a scam on: December 19, 2018, 09:31:30 AM
Have been introduced to tether as a hedge fund but its later realization about its value fluctuations with the real usd makes it a lot unreliable where it behaves as a normal altcoins. I this the Tusd is better for hedging. Would be preferred for such investments or savings but again I do not trust sending out to anyone to save for me in the guise of investments. Scams come in different shades
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: "What will ACTIVATE the next BULL RUN?" - CZ Binance on: December 19, 2018, 09:23:16 AM
A lot of confidence needs to be brought back into the crypto market and one of them has to do with regulation of the ICO projects. A lot of persons have lost faith having lost huge investing in shitty ICO's which eventually turn into shitcoins after launch. Regulation will ensure there is no scam, project is solid and real and investors have some level of protection.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that Beginners need Technical analysis? on: December 13, 2018, 07:12:27 AM
Certainly this should be the basic part of knowledge for anyone coming in to trade cryptos. I particularly made a lot of trading blunders before I had the knowledge of how to analyze TA. It is better in the best interest of anyone coming into trading to get a hold of the best information about how TA is used before involving real money
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you believe this is the highest bottom ? on: December 13, 2018, 07:08:50 AM
Currently I think the bottom has not yet been established or reached, btc was maintaining a support level of around $6000 and it was speculated that there is the bottom for most altcoins, after breaking the support most altcoins dropped further, it is however not possible to say it is already at the bottom at this current level until a certain price movement and direction begins
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Can I earn 1 bitcoin in 1 year through bounties ?? on: December 13, 2018, 07:04:22 AM
I think it is better to specify a particular value you expect in Dollars or Euros, say $2000 or so. I btc can worth $500 and can equally worth $10,000 all depending. Personally I believe everything is possible it is all depends on hardware and luck. Some of those that made over $10,000 from bounties never expected it, now that expectations are low anything can still happen, but this will require participating voraciously among a lot of bounties and joining their articles, Reddit, blog, video campaigns among others
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The market is making very few projects list their token on exchange on: December 12, 2018, 04:39:54 PM
The market situation is so bad and have resulted in a lot of coins being dumped on getting to an exchange, I have seen a lot of coins dump more than 10 times their ICO price. I think largely the huge fall of eth is responsible, if the price of eth has been relatively stable most ICO would not have dumped so huge as have been seen recently
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL for only the brave !? on: December 12, 2018, 04:05:24 PM
Holding requires a lot of energy and therefore it is not out of place to say it is for the brave. It is not pleasant to watch ones portfolio keeps dropping in value due to heavy market dumps. Particularly I have seen a lot persons sold their holds when the coins have dropped in value beyond limits which they could hold.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Rewarding signature campaign, are you satisfied? on: December 12, 2018, 04:00:43 PM
Signature campaigns were not popular until late last year to mid this year, since then the values are rewards have decreased and thereby decreasing the popularity and interest again. Just like every other bounties with their rules, signature campaigns have theirs rules and if flaunted one are denied of the stakes, however I do not go for campaigns that ask for more than 12 posts per week and should be short lived
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Put 100$ per month in Crypto currencies on: December 12, 2018, 02:43:29 PM
Buying gradually as the market drops has been known to be one of the of the ways best strategies of crypto investment, though it may not always be favorable but for real and experienced traders knows how to cut the shots. However, anyone that had made the investment decision earlier in January would have been regretting his actions by now as the market expections never held sway. We are all responsible for our decisions
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am just Dumping all my altcoins! on: December 12, 2018, 02:37:11 PM
If you have been looking at your portfolio daily and seeing the drain in the market and fund drop quickly, the best way to get peace of mind is to dump and exit while counting your losses for the mean time. Personally I took the exit very late though but it was better as it happened before market dropped to the current level
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounties in 2018 on: December 12, 2018, 02:32:10 PM
Participating in bounty at this time comes with a lot of cold feet especially when one is coming with huge expectation. Particularly I got my most reward from airdrops nut joined bounty in the middle part of 2018. I have come to understand the reality in the market and the challenges associated with bounty participation. It could really be discouraging not received any meaningful rewards but I decided to be steadfast and have fun with it while hoping to get lucky with one soon
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lesson from bear market on: December 11, 2018, 09:08:42 PM
Most important lesson is to never go emotional and believe all predictions, exit earlier while you can and always ensure you convert all in fiat. Good enough there are a lot of options in most exchanges that provides the fiat base for crypto such as Tusd, usdt, usd, pax and so forth. Never sleep on any coin if one is trading and always have a good exit strategy
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why many ico launch with ETH ? on: December 11, 2018, 09:02:36 PM
I think this is equally responsible for the huge fall of eth as most of these tokens are sold off in eth as it provides the most exchange pairs for most tokens especially in decentralized exchanges. Have seen a lot of ICO's recently launching their own blockchain platforms and no more with the etherium and I think such will be better than those developed within the etherium platform that usually experience huge dimp
