I can see not only pharmacological use of the Smart containers. The food industry could be positively affected as well. And many more. However I don't see it can be utilized in current life, I think 5 years should pass before we can start to adopt IoT fully. The fact is that such cargo transportation exists today. I like the fact that the whitepaper on this Swiss project is very much detailed and specific to cold storage transportation. Monitoring temperature sensitive cargo is labor intensive without the sophisticated tracking system they all use and then adding blockchains makes it a lot easier.
