222  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin over 4000 in Aug? on: August 15, 2017, 08:10:24 PM
Can Bitcoin pass 4000 usd this August or will it correct at 4000?

this could happen!!! but no one know it with secure!
but we will be there to see for sure...
and maybe to gain, too!

Yeah it already happened but what is the point to discuss old market activity on certain price?  Of course we will see that days which bitcoin prices will be above 5000$ and this will not be end of current uptrend.

225  Economy / Speculation / Re: Isn't speculation and volatility problem for cryptocurrency? on: August 10, 2017, 02:29:00 PM
Hey guys! Just want to double check if speculation and volatility is a problem for bitcoin?
That's why so many known companies refuses to accept bitcoin as main payment method. But there are good alternatives to bitcoin which can do it's payment function under less volatile market conditions. I know few projects have this feature which can control daily percent change of token/coin. Anyway the world is not ready to fully transfer payment system to digital money.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Betting 80% of my portfolio on ARK on: August 10, 2017, 02:25:05 PM
Hey guys..

The past week I doubled up when I bought the dip at $0.4

I'm sitting at 8500 Ark, recieving more than 80 ark a month in dividents from Dpos staking... Sweet passive income.

My goal is to be sitting at 10k ark, and have the rest of my portfolio in Bitcoin..

I see HUGE potenitial in this coin, sadly it's hard to drive the price up when it's only listed on 2 exchanges.

It's still early if you get into this coin now, it's barely half a year old (from when it hit exchanges).

With smartbridges, which they recently just tested on the ethereum platform (with success), and by looking at their roadmap, I predict this coin to hit $10 in a years time.. Could be sooner, but I think that's a realistic price aim.

Ark has almost the same number of coins as ETH, so $100 a coin is easily possible down the road (Which will make me a millionaire if it happens).

There are a lot of great coins out there, including NEO.. I just dont want to invest into something that is hyped and shilled as much, because I like steady gains instead.. NEO looks more an more like the Digibyte hype train to me, and I think it's safe to say I won't put myself into a situation where I bought too high.. I'll probably eat my words, but who cares, I love ARK  and it's helpful community!

My average buy in on ARK is $0.57
So I'm in the green already, sitting comfy with my passive income that I get weekly Smiley

There will be another opportunities for future. Why should you risk 80% of bankroll? Never ever trade the money which you cant afford to lose. I hope you dont trade with leverage with risking all available margin..
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Cash - hold or dump? on: August 10, 2017, 02:22:20 PM
Hold if u have faith on it
Dump if people begin to lose their believe on this coin

What about converting all bitcoins to bitcoin cash with buying btc/bcc pair on exchanges? If you can invest small amount to bitcoin cash then no problem losing that amount which will not have big affect to your daily life or portfolio. Little tip form experienced trader: Buy bitcoin cash like there is no tomorrow when it hits 200$ Wink
P.s: This is not investing advice , i just write my personal opinion..
228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you use analysis when play gambling? on: August 10, 2017, 02:14:25 PM
If playing roulette or slots game than you do not require any analysis or skills to be honest. Its more of luck which will make you win or lose. But if you are playing any cards game then experience and analysis is what that matters because this decides what are your chances of winning the game.

Same thing. You need to analyze how you're going to manage your bets even for roulette. Yeah the outcome will rely on luck but your losses can be controlled by analyzing how much you're willing to place on the table.

Every punter/gambler should have money management rules with good strategy. But your analyze is not going to work on games which based on luck. Gambler's fallacy starts from this point. No matter how lucky you are house always wins at the end...
229  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 4000$ !! on: August 10, 2017, 02:10:59 PM
Is bitcoin going to achieve 4000$ in the near future ?
Yes in a couple of weeks it will hit $4,000 and then upwards until the end of the year and possibly beyond, based on nothing more than just my current thinking.
Price already hit 3500$ less than 2 week after hard fork. But we all know that nothing can beat the bitcoins in terms of market cap.I only can say one thing about bitcoin price speculation: It will hit 10000 usd/BTC rate before 2019 Wink
230  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading sucks, I'll just hold my coins on: August 10, 2017, 02:07:35 PM
trading is good if you take it as your habit, because trading need your concentration and focus.

Trading is not suitable for everyone imo. If you ever had trading experience with altcoins then it is better to find which altcoin covers your needs. Sometimes you cant manage your emotions, sometimes you forget your money management rules vice versa..
231  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is this for real? I could be a millionaire? on: August 09, 2017, 03:45:18 PM
Please forgive my cynicism.
I was offered bitcoins in I think 2010 when they were 50p each.
I was tempted to buy £200 worth but had been just lost £200 to a ponzi money scheme so decided against it!

I have seem recent reports saying they are now worth £2,500

Are these the same Bitcoins?
So would I be able to actually sell for cash or money in the bank?

Sorry to ask, but I see lots of people saying they are millionaires but don't think I have seen anyone with the actual money banked.

I mean, my 400 bitcoins would now be worth £1,000,000 and I could actually sell them for £1Million less commissions?

You gotta see I'm sceptical.
Please tell me I haven't made the biggest mistake of my life?

Can you explain situation a bit more? Are you talking about bitcoins? Because i cant understand the reason behind this "buy low sell high" speculation on mentioned coins.
232  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price BTC after 23 August? on: August 09, 2017, 03:42:13 PM
IMO price will hit 4000$  before 23 august. But noone knows exact price/date on this volatile crypto markets. You shouldnt expect big percent change on prices before September On september we will see highest maximum on BTC price chart IMO.
233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can trading be considered as gambling?? on: August 09, 2017, 02:42:08 PM
In trading we make a bet on coin after analyzing market, reading the past performance and the project it is based upon which makes it a mixture of luck, strategy and analysis. While gambling is pure luck and is just an enjoying activity. But trading is a serious business.

Trading is to make some money while gambling is to lose some money. Generally speaking, this is what both purposes are although in reality you can lose money in trading as well as get some money in gambling. No one know the future that is why choose the best possible thing to make money if you want to make money

You have time, and you don't need any urgent money and ready to invest then trading is a good choice. It will not give you instant profit, but you can make a good profit in a long time. Patience is very important you can not control tension means don't enter this field you will face many losses. And gambling is also not suitable. Becasue both will give you same tension.

If someone needed the money that bad, then Trading is not the one for someone, because just like what you have said, Trading is all about patience, since the prices of the coins might take some time before it pumps, when that time comes, you could make the profits that you are expecting on it, but if you are not going to be patient about it, then you could only make small profits.
Trading does not give instant money like gambling can, in gambling you can start even with a small
amount of money and that what attracts gamblers because most of them has a big dream to be rich while using
only a little amount to gamble.
And if being too lucky that dream can come true, trading needs to put some skills and time ,while in gambling when we have a extra money and were feeling lucky then we can play it on anytime to enjoy time or to kill some time. It may considered only same in risk on not havinv assurance to earn or to lose some.

Being lucky can help you on gambling but luck is not enough "reason" to  be considered as good trader. If trader doesnt have skill and strategy whole process will be a bit difficult and undesired. At the end the trading experience will result to lost all invested funds.. That's why you should have special money management options on different subjects.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: I sell 1 Bitcoin Cash for 0.15 BTCs on: August 05, 2017, 04:00:13 PM
What about reducing price a little bit? You can check real market price of bcc on crypto-platforms.  One more question: Why dont you simply go to exchange sites and exchange it to fiat?

I've never sent any messages to this person for any reason.  I have, however, received MANY.  If you look at my activity, I have been dormant for the past month or more- I've moved back to Ohio and closed my gemstone and jewelry business.  I'm currently working full-time for a manufacturing company in northwest Ohio and have had no bitcoin transactions at all.

It really stinks to see my trust rating fall like that, after so many years of being a solid member of the forum.  I would appreciate it if a forum moderator could look into this.
