222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's real use of segwit activation? on: August 16, 2017, 02:40:58 PM
Dear all
Yesterday i sent 0.036 BTC from my electrum wallet to my localbitcoins account.Electrum wallet showed me automatically a fee of 0.0003 BTC.I adjusted it to 0.0005 BTC.Already 24 hours gone, still transaction was not confirmed. Some times,it shows 84 hrs to get confirmed, then 6 hrs, then again 84hrs then again 20 minutes, then again 84 hrs.I clearly understand that the miners are not showing any interest in confirming my transaction. Now today,i sent another 0.0112 BTC again with a transaction fee of 0.0003BTC.Four hours gone, still showing 84 hrs for confirmation.I am in desperate need of money now. Now,i just have a question that what's the use of activating segwit and increasing block size then? So,what i understand is that miners think "You all do whatever you wish, activate segwit or not,we are the only authorised people to decide what the transaction fee should be"
I think i have catched their mind voice correctly.Just i want to know what you all people think about this? Is segwit activation then just an eye wash?
Hi i have tried viabtc accelerator and it shows the message submissions are beyond limits.please try later. So i'm posting my tx id below. If any one helps to get my transaction accelerated by any means,it would be a great help for me.thanks in advance. Here is my tx id

223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Your Bitcoin Dream? on: August 16, 2017, 06:08:47 AM
My first dream would be to live a peaceful financially independant life with bitcoin. My biggest dream was to build a big Hypermarket in our city which i could not do these much days since i didn't have enough money.I was struggling with a low paying job.But now, thanks to bitcoin,i have left my job and now i'm earning triple the amount as my salary in bitcoins. With huge increase in bitcoin price nowadays,i hope that very next year,i could make my dream true with bitcoins.
224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you define Bitcoin "going mainstream"? on: August 16, 2017, 06:00:48 AM
Bitcoin going mainstream means that every one is using bitcoins for every purpose, for buying goods, for paying services. We could say that bitcoin is going mainstream in japan since bitcoin is widely used there by all people, traders and even government sectors accepting bitcoin payments since bitcoin is legalized there.South korea is following japan.Soon,in india also, bitcoin would go mainstream as indian government has decided to legalize bitcoin soon.Soon, the situation where bitcoin would go mainstream all over the world would come.
225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Corrupt Central Banks and Governments just gonna sit back and watch Bitcoin win? on: August 16, 2017, 05:52:15 AM
Central banks and governments have already tried their best to destroy bitcoins. But despite their continuous efforts, bitcoin moved unstoppable. Some bankers even sent to the extent of creating a crypto currency Rippl to compete with bitcoin.Nothing was useful to them. Now,governments have started to reconsider their policis regarding bitcoin and have decided to legalize bitcoin.Japan was the first to legalize bitcoin.Soon, south kore and india are to follow it.Then australia and philippines too could take the same stand.I think that this would be the golden era of the world, thanks to bitcoin.
226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason that keeps me from investing in bitcoin on: August 16, 2017, 05:36:47 AM
Bitcoin is no more suitable to use as a currency. In earlier years of bitcoin, people used it to buy products and to pay for services. But now with such huge increase in price, now no body is willing to spend bitcoins for just buying any thing which could be easily bought with fiat money. They don't want to loose an earning opportunity with bitcoins. They instead treat it as a valuable investment which could give them huge returns in future.Even after the much expected segwit activation, nothing has changed enough. The miners still wish to play their own game by confirming only the transactions with higher fee.Coming to your point, you have decided to invest your money for two to three years. For that, bitcoin is he ultimate choice. So you have no need to worry about high transaction fee.

229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Alt killer (drop Bitcoin to satoshi) on: August 16, 2017, 04:56:48 AM
i always like this proposal not just because of the "psychological" stuff and for getting more people to invest, but i like it mostly because it reminds people that there are smaller units than 1 whole bitcoin and you can buy them.

in this particular case it is like gold! your only option in buying gold is not a 12.4 kg (438.9 ounces) gold bar! you can in fact buy smaller amounts, 1 gr, ... are also an option.
Definitely.By this way, people won't get scared at hearing bitcoin price first. They would readily accept to buy satoshis at very cheap rate with amount they could afford to pay.By this way, even altcoin buyers would start buying satoshis.By following this way, bitcoin would no more remain as a currency only available for the rich.I think its time to change, from Bitcoin to Satoshis.
230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Being Unemployed Drives People to go to Bitcoin on: August 16, 2017, 04:45:01 AM
I would say that bitcoin is a blessing for unemployed people. It has given new earning opportunities to them irrespective of their caste, creed, nation, whether living in developed country or undeveloped. It has changed their situations from waiting for a government or private sector. It has increased their standard of living. What they need is a laptop or a smart phone and access to internet.I have seen many people even quitting their tough and low paying jobs and have started earning in bitcoins.By giving earning opportunities to unemployed people, bitcoin helps progress of a nation's economy indirectly.
231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transaction FEES 0.00133153 BTC !!! on: August 16, 2017, 04:37:00 AM
Just now make a withdraw from Bitgrail and it take 0.00133153 BTC ($5.49 ) as a fee !! (https://live.blockcypher.com/btc/tx/cdf1dc891dfc0bd827b3b4f442ab5095e5073486bce9711fde859da7fccf7ecb) Oh my God! I think it's too many fees for a transation. How to overcome this high fee? Do you follow any special tips to overcome high Bitcoin fee?
Badly i need to know any good tips about it. Someone help me please.
Best regards
Mkmanik

Its really a high fee man. They are spoiling their reputation by themselves.I have used poloniex exchange and their withdrawal fee is just 0.0001 btc.I advice you better not to use exchanges for storing  bitcoins and instead use wallets like Electrum, etc where you could even set your fee manually. There is no security threat in using that wallet.
232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to transition local economy into bitcoin? on: August 15, 2017, 09:30:23 AM
I don't know where you got news that economy is transitioned to bitcoins in bangladesh.Using bitcoins is banned in bangladesh.Even people are imprisoned if caught using bitcoins. But african continent have a large number of countries with huge population.Their economy is not that much good.Money transactions was made possible in bitcoins there with m-pesa.It became a big success there. But that same strategy would not be successful in all countries. For example, unless bitcoin is legalized like japan, economy could not be transitioned to bitcoin.
233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin truly decentralized? on: August 15, 2017, 09:23:15 AM
Yes,bitcoin is decentralized.Otherwise, its security would have been compromised.Governments and bankers would have taken control of it and destroyed it much earlier. But it may look like some ascepts of bitcoin looking a little bit centralized. For example, china has largest number of mining farms in the world. So,naturally have a major share of bitcoins.Untill few months back,Chinese dominated bitcoin market and they used to dump their bitcoins at once and trying to manipulate bitcoin price.Bitcoin market suffered a lot due to them. But when PBOC regulated chinese exchanges, they started losing their control and people all over the world started to buy bitcoins. Now,they are no more able to manipulate bitcoin price. But still, they tried their best to stop segwit being activated so that they could earn more fom miner fee.But at last, segwit was activated. Now,we could hope that bitcoin is almost free from chinese and it remains decentralized.
234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin supersedes Cash in the near future? on: August 15, 2017, 08:42:32 AM
Being the first digital currency to really establish deep and firmly in the market. Do you think in the near future Bitcoin will dominate our current currency?
Bitcoin would be vastly used in future. But it would not dominate other currencies.Every country's currency is supported by appropriate governments which ensures its value. But bitcoin is not controlled by any authority and no one could ensure its value.Bitcoin's price is driven by community support.More over, today most of us don't like to use bitcoin as a currency and spend it,rather we all want to just save it as a profitable investment for future. So,in no way, bitcoin could supersede cash.
235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think? on: August 15, 2017, 08:32:51 AM
Do you think the richest families or personalities in the world would be interested in using bitcoins??
And if so, would that be a good thing for us small people or negative??
I mean rich people are capabale of so much things, so it makes me wonder..
If rich people start investing in bitcoin, they would be getting huge profits since they would be investing very huge amounts.Since they buy large number of bitcoins,it would create a huge demand for bitcoins in the market which would result in increase in price of bitcoin. So,it would only benefit us and bitcoin community as a whole.
236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is becoming currency for rich dudes, why so fast??? on: August 15, 2017, 08:27:05 AM
Wow, bitcoin price is increasing everyday at lightening speed!

Are you not afraid someday bitcoin will become currency only for the rich dudes?

I know we all want to buy and save more bitcoins, but the way bitcoin price is going are we really going to keep up?

What do you think, guys?
I don't understand how it could become only for the rich people.May be,you are saying that bitcoin price would be very high and newbies would not be able to buy a  bitcoin. No problem.Since bitcoin is divisible in to 8 decimals, they could even buy 0.00000001 btc and save it.So bitcoin is for all and could be bought by any one.

238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Bitcoin is better than Gold? on: August 14, 2017, 11:35:27 AM
So Bitcoin is better than Gold? Roll Eyes
Absolutely, bitcoin is better than gold in various aspects.Bitcoin could be easily transferred to any parts of world immediately unlike gold.Bitcoin has almost increased seven times of its price $650 to $4200 within a year.Such a huge return could not be expected from gold.Even though gold has been considered as the safest investment, bitcoin investment is also secure since it works on a secured block chain system.Using bitcoin,we could also buy any products online or offline but it could not be bought with gold.Thats why, bitcoin has started to attract attention of gold investors.
239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of BTC on: August 14, 2017, 11:15:07 AM
Hello!

I'm not new to Bitcoin I've been using it since 2015 as a wallet since it has no limitations.
After the new record of BTC price I'm really confused, It increased about $1k in less than 1 month which seems suspicious.
I'm thinking of investing some money on BTC and hold them for at least 3 years or more.
But is it a good idea? have any of you made good profit with holding BTC?
Like tell me what do you think of the future of BTC rates, how high could it reach?

with my best regards..
Yes,you have taken the right decision.Bitcoin price was just $650 exactly an year ago and now its price is $4207.Almost,it has increased seven times of its previous price. We could not be able to find an asset or an investment which could give such huge returns today.Bitcoin has outperformed every prediction and it is now marching towards $5000.Bitcoin has faced lots of critical situations like Mt.gox collapse,BU,hard fork resulting in another coin BCC.But still it has survived and had made all of its criticizers shut their mouth.Bitcoin has more probability to increase in price as it is getting legalized in many countries and mass adoption is taking place. So,you could invest in bitcoins confidently for a great future.
240  Economy / Speculation / Re: Just about 20 million. Wait and watch it REALLY explode... on: August 14, 2017, 11:04:19 AM
Tens, hundreds of thousands of new bitcoin purchasers, traders, holders... It's a fever, across the world, making the mainstream news -and new highs- every day....

But this is NOTHING. All those 10s, hundreds of thousands of new bitcoin converts, hardly realize yet that there is going to be only 21 million bitcoins. Ever. And about 1 million have already been lost forever, so, basically, about 20 million...

What is going to happen when not hundreds of thousands, but actually hundreds of millions of people want to have bitcoin?

We ain't seen nothing yet.

Here's my prediction, for the books: $50,000+ within 5 years, probably within 3 years.

Or earlier.
Yes,no one would have ever thought an year ago that bitcoin price could reach $4000 the very next year.Price was just $650 at that time. Most people all over the world have started realizing that bitcoin would be the future of world economy. They hope that bitcoin would be the game changer of their life.Already we have crossed $4000 in august 2017 itself. It would not be a surprise if bitcoin price crosses $6000 within this year end. So,in 2018 end it may even cross $10,000.Whatever the demand is,bitcoin supply is limited to only 21 million coins. So,if demand increases very high, then bitcoin price would even go in millions making even a person having just 1 bitcoin as a millionaire.
