IMHO I see all the MJ based coins taking a hit for 2 reasons.
1. In the USA, I see AG Sessions cracking down hard on States with legal rec MJ, effectively ending legal rec MJ. I also see the US Congress making medical MJ legit opening up the market to banking system. So, there won't be a need for alt banking options.
This could be the case. AG Sessions has been looking at enforcing federal law. There could be an introduction of traditional banks into the system this is true. Crypto though does provide benefits. 2. Canada is going to make MJ legal, opening it up to using the banking system. To be honest, don't know if that's the case already in Canada - if they can use the banking system or not. Agreed. Canada will make MJ legal. I don't believe they can. Good point. Not sure what the rest of the world is doing or if coins would be an alternate in those systems.
Of course, people might just want to use crypto for its advantages. But you'd think they'd accept Bitcoin over any MJ based coin.
I do think there will be a coin that designed around the needs of the MJ industry. I don't think Bitcoin has all the answers for this. Good points though. |

With all due respect, this project was a total scam and the developer dumped the coins, stole the money and deleted the website. He then tried to pull the same scam with a coin called marijuanneum or something along those lines a week later using the exact same template.
Now he is creating fake conversations with Richie from Bittrex?
It's your call, but in my opinion, this project has 0 integrity left and should be abandoned... Please don't give the scammer another opportunity to snake some more cash out of the mmj crypto community.
If your looking for an undervalued project to jump on with come on over to DopeCoin where you can interact with a real community and an honest team.
Please, no offense, but I would never buy into your project given the name. Dispensaries are trying to legitimize themselves by distancing from street terms like "Dope" "Pot" and "Kush". I don't see how any of those coins have a chance of convincing serious businesses to adopt them. There is a whole Magazine called DOPE , and its all about Marijuana. "Dope" means "cool" too. Dispensaries are looking for something catchy not original like Marijuanacoin. Just my 2 cents. At the end of the day there shouldn't be clash between the groups , just we are pointing out the history of this coin in the past. |

Well, my investment is already paying off! Bought this at around 4/10 and have almost doubled my money.... I think i may hold on to this one!

Hopefully this is the year for DopeCoin. Love the whole idea of PPC and your approach to everything. Personally though, I find the audio on your website to be annoying when it starts. I'd recommend instantly giving the user some information about the coin, cannabis, money, cryptos and most definitely, WHY and HOW this coin is something that should interest me. The site looks really clean and nice, but from a perspective of someone who doesn't know much, I think there's too much scrolling and finding the right information to get these questions answered. I mean this in the most positive way  @dopecoindude ... I believe it was I that mentioned having a revamp on the main site as it can be daunting for new visitors to find exactly what they are looking for, definitely something that should be put onto the boardroom table @GoldieX the big dog Dopey! is on it! read above Working with another community member to gather some more resources to help promote and market Dope. |

I highly doubt this is a scam, we talk to the developer of this coin everyday on https://thecryptochat.net/. He is pretty active on that site so if you are so scared just pop in and talk to him. I love how you also said that it was being pumped by only Jr. Members, well I don't post on this site very often becuase I never feel the need to, so therefore my "status" doesn't go up. I fail to see how someone who is a hero member or legendary is more trustworthy than anyone else. A legendary member can steal my stuff just as quickly as a newbie. I can go around posting 1 sentence replies on every post just to get my "status" up, again, doesn't make me any more trustworthy. Of course though, what do I know... I'm not legendary. I'll re-tract it. We just want to make sure these type of coins pop up are thoroughly vetted. |

Careful with this one!
This smells heavily of the developer of Marijuanacoin Prizzrak who recently just stole 18 BTC from the community. If your going to invest your money into an ICO make sure to use a qualified and reputable escrow partner in order to make sure your funds are safe from theft.
And before you throw any money in you need to ask yourself, why would this require an ICO?
Why are the people responding in this thread pumping it Jr. members with no post count and why is the dev launching an ICO with a brand new fresh account.
Not FUD, just reality.

It's been a while since Dopecoin has received it's noticeable pump. There's a bunch of people trying to have Dopecoin survive the new coins that are being posted in the Altcoin section so I think that Dopecoin has the potential to see success.

Hopefully, get this built out and attract a large amount of merchants. The transaction volumn we have is between $2,000 and $4,000 - if we can get this to $20,000 , $40,000 through marketing outreach to proper merchants the value of the coin shall reflect this.
