222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re:  INTERNET OF COINS ⛓ blockchain freedom (r)evolution ⛓ [ CROWDFUND CLOSED ] on: July 21, 2017, 01:34:26 AM
If you can't view them in your wallet you can check with an explorer if they have issued to your account; https://cryptofresh.com/u/internet-of-coins
Due to the way Bitshares is set up, the HYBRIDs are issued directly to users. We might change this in the future.

I can't find the tx to my account, does it mean they have not issued? But I received other tokens.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XSPEC] Spectrecoin | Untraceable Tx | Ring Signatures | Tor Integration on: July 20, 2017, 02:52:44 PM
In these moments when some speak with doubts, about the permanence of Bitcoin in the long term,
a project with a clear vision to remain totally decentralized, has many chances in the future :
Spectrecoin XSPEC.

Agreed! Follow up firmly with XSPEC.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SONM: Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: July 20, 2017, 02:50:45 PM
There are positive activities on Github. I hope to see BETA soon.

There is a lot of activity on github,so devs didn't lie that their main goal is working product!

People don't follow the project as they should. This was actually my opinion too that lot of activities are going on. Which tells one thing that development is going to non stop. We will not need to wait for long time now seeing all the activities being done at github. People who are aware surely would be buying silently in all this period.

Where is the communication from dev?
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MOBILEGO Crowdfund [$53 Million] - Decentralized Mobile Gaming Solutions on: July 20, 2017, 07:56:15 AM

How long will mgo be ready to be traded on bittrex? I have seen that bittrex is still fixing the wallet and we are not able to trade this coin yet. Well, I hope that we will soon see MGO on bittrex so that MGO can be pumped Cheesy

Stupid Bittrex and Stupid MGO team. Got $53mil but without a main exchange.

228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Tezos discussion on: July 20, 2017, 07:51:35 AM
Hello to everyone,

can someone explain to me why is price on tezos.live 0.38$ per 1 tezzie, and on cryptocompare or hitbtc price hits 2.34$?
what is the real price right now?

thx.

Because hitbtc's tezos is the future(IOU token), not the spot. Tezos main net is not live.

HitBTC is not true one. Don't take the price seriously.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: July 20, 2017, 07:50:01 AM
hope price will recover, it's a nice coin and I am going to hold it for longer term.

I think the byteball is a good coin as it has good community support. Many are bitcoin holders.

Richer get richer.  Grin Grin Grin
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TenX [ICO] end of June: making Blockchain assets spendable on: July 20, 2017, 07:49:24 AM
I don't think it's worth holding PAY because of the rewards:
PAY will be dumped even harder when people realize how "much" they'll actually get from the rewards:

... = $0.0244 reward per PAY token for the whole year of 2018.

Your calculation is correct.
But I disagree with your conclusion.

By your logic, all cryptos have to be dumped immediately when people realize that they offer low rewards:
BTC will be dumped even harder when people realize they get $0 reward for the whole year of 2018.
ETH will be dumped even harder when people realize they get $0 reward for the whole year of 2018.
LTC will be dumped even harder when people realize they get $0 reward for the whole year of 2018.
The list goes on.

I don't think that something is worth less than nothing.

What's the new plan of PAY? Any roadmap?
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TenX [ICO] end of June: making Blockchain assets spendable on: July 19, 2017, 09:02:55 AM
Stop your FUD man, you are not gaining anything with it. In fact you making metal look like the losing side, trying to convince people in competitor bitcointalk.org threads.

Absolutely.

The only thing this FUD and the manipulative trading of PAY is really doing is convincing us that TenX has the superior business model and product.
Any competitor (MTL, MCO, whoever) that has to rely on such deceptive tactics and "support" to "prove their product is better" does not deserve our trust and/or support.

PAY will be accumulated and HODL´ed, TenX will be supported. This team will be the winner in the future, because they already are the superior choice now.

No any idea if PAY is better or not. But now is a hard time. The price dump a lot.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | ARDOR | Scalable Blockchain-as-a-Service Platform | Proof of Stake on: July 19, 2017, 09:00:27 AM
The first round of ICO will start on August, 5th with the price of 0.4 NXT of 1 JLRD. The starting date for the last one is October 7th and the price 1.45 NXT. The Ardor platform will be launched in Q4 instead of Q3 planned The snapshot at the end of October  https://www.jelurida.com/ico

Where can I find a good instruction on what IGNIS?

Why another ICO?
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Tezos discussion on: July 19, 2017, 08:57:09 AM
I wish Tezos would open a forum on their homepage...so that people can discuss developments, news, and the team can help address expectations, developments, etc.

Ever since the crowdsale ended (which I know was recently), I believe the only update to the page is the "The Tezos Fundraiser is closed."

I know it's hopefully not the case, but for all we know they could be vacationing the entire world on private planes with all the BTC and ETH that they raised.

At least an update from the Tezos team would be cool...
Update from Tezos.
Diversifying the portfolio of the Tezos Foundation

Posted on Tue 18 July 2017 in misc

The Tezos Foundation currently holds over $220M worth of bitcoins and ethers. To best serve the interests of the Tezos community, we intend to gradually diversify our position by slowly selling some (but not all) of these holdings over the coming months and purchasing a conservative portfolio of cash, stocks, bonds, and precious metals. This will ensure that our organization is resilient in good times, and bad times.

We strongly believe in the importance and value of cryptographic tokens such as bitcoins, ethers, and of course tez. However, as an organization dedicated to promoting the Tezos protocol, we should strive to make our endowment uncorrelated to this asset class as a whole, or even anti-correlated. When times are good, interest in building applications around these technologies is high, venture capital money flows into exciting new companies and the growth comes naturally. When times are tough, interest can wane and funding can dry up. It is precisely in those times that the foundation needs to be strong, and holding a large portfolio of bitcoin and ether would not accomplish that.

We let people know that we would begin selling some of these assets during the fundraiser. This ensured that moving contributions would not cause worry and confusion for contributors. As it turns out, we didn't sell assets in that period, as our focus was primarily on support and monitoring the safety of the crowdfunding. The multisignature procedure we use requires access to a secure location for spending and several security checks which make it a non trivial affair. Given our interest in minimizing slippage, whatever we might have sold would represent a very small fraction of the contribution received.

Selling too much too fast temporarily depress prices and unnecessarily reduce the foundation’s endowment, which is obviously not in the best interest of contributors or the foundation. Our strategy will be to balance the importance of diversification and risk management with the cost of trading, by making sure that we represent a small fraction of the selling or buying pressure at any time. We will also seek to connect directly with large institutional buyers, which can give us better prices and liquidity than going through exchanges.

Our first trade happened yesterday, when we sold 1,587 ether at a price of $163.82, netting about 250,000 CHF for the Tezos Foundation

You all have to vote using the poll otherwise it will not be registered.

Re. devs.
There are 3 devs working now to develop the code. @jbg, @speqtr (Alexander MISHIN), both on Slack but not registered here on Bitcointalk, and @mammix2 (dev of BitcoinPlus, Boostcoin etc.). I (@spectreproject on Slack) and @jbg are the official contacts and spokes persons for the project. @lulworm has taken a hiatus and I am concentrating on PR / contacts at the moment whilst I am recovering from an illness. @jbg will be responsible for the code work and release of v.1.3 and we will all work together to release v.1.4. The mobile apps will come but the core code will need some updates. We have also attracted another dev, @ediston on Slack (not sure if he is here) who will be helping out in due time.

I have also secured some funding and the community has offered some funding, so currently we have the resources and devs needed to bring this project forward.

Expect roadmap updates and website updates post v.1.3.

Thank you

Great to follow the progress and the useful information. Thank you.

On the waves of the other and do not organize. Remember all the projects in which Ivanov participated and promoted.

Incent - 100% scam nothing of the promised is not fulfilled after a year, work and development is not being conducted.
Kolionovo is also a scam, the coin is not traded anywhere, the site is deleted, it's not even on https://coinmarketcap.com/ at all, not clear prospects.

You can continue indefinitely.

On the waves under the leadership of Ivanov, they simply organized some sort of assembly line for pumping money out of investors, after collecting money, developers do nothing and go quietly underground.

The original you can check here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1863209.msg19814959#msg19814959 and read more comments.

I think everything is clear now !

Incent and encryptotel in the same boat on waves. Nothing to add more.

is there still someone hope to grow with these fraudsters ?  Grin
good luck then!

Do you mean even WAVES is a scam?
I think all coins are scams.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: July 16, 2017, 12:55:48 AM
No coins have a real use except BTC and ETH. The real question is why do you hate Monaco so much ? How much did you lost to hate them like this ?

I love Monaco Card but am not happy with the project team for mismanaging the whole thing.

Your love is so cheap....

238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SONM: Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: July 16, 2017, 12:54:34 AM
Where are you buying SONM now? I bought some in the ICO and I'd like to buy some more cheaper...
I missed Bancor ICO and I could buy some through a smart contract, not that easy with SONM right?

You are lucky to miss Bancor ICO. If you missed SNM ICO, you were luckier.

Market is in the scare. Scare is spreading.

Panic sell, good buy Grin

TenX has always performed far better than others.

~60k BTC, > 300K ETH, that's huge.

That's really huge but also there is plenty of projects over that market cap.

I feel there is no plenty pump space for such a high ICO price.
The dev team will win all, but the investors will loss.
