221  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Where would you stick your 800 Mhas/s ....? on: July 10, 2011, 05:46:03 PM
Hi

I am sorry but saying the pool does not matter is simply ignorant. There is a reason deepbit has the most users.  My stale % at slush's was 2-3%.  My stale at deepbit is 0.49%.

goto pit.deepbit.net:8332 and forget the rest.

Hi

I have tried quite a few pools.  I make the most money with deepbit and really do not understand why. He charges 3% which is 1% higher than most others.  I would suggest trying a few pools for a few weeks and run the numbers.

Hi

I do not know what is going on with this pool but I get much much more BTC with btcguild and deepbit pools.  I have left because something is just not right.

Hi

switched from BTCGUILD since they are getting DDOS.  I am getting much less BTC compared to BTCGUILD and I added an extra card to the mining!

Seeing as so far I'm 100% correct, here's another lovely prediction from yours truely.

~1 month after we hit the $10 mark, the big mining ops are going to scale back, sell hardware, recoup costs. If they already paid off their hardware or are in the green then they are still going to be happy bunnies making a profit.

As they leave and the difficulty lowers, it will be more attractive to mine again. I say attractive, but I don't mean that as in to make a profit, I mean that you will be able to get a lot of coins again, they just wont be worth much.

I give it 6 months till something that's copied the Bitcoin concept and improved upon it comes along. Almost everybody left will jump ship to that. The marketplace forum will flood with people wanting to buy the new currency for BTC. The whole process then starts again with the new currency, though hopefully the improvements will make it more of a success story.

Hi

How many threads have you created saying the same thing?  A broken clock is right twice a day.

Bitcoin is going nowhere and the value will rebound nicely.  Perhaps I will create ten threads advocating this idea like you have.

Hi

Where are the rewards for the last 12-16 hours. My 60-70 workers were solving shares all the time.  Are you saying that there were no rewards?? WTF were they hashing as all of my workers were getting new shares.

HI

Hi

what is going on..I have made hardly any BTC in the last 12 hours.  6 hour rounds....can you please fix this.
It is like every other day there is something wrong with this pool.  No wonder so many workers have left this pool...amateur hour.

Padrino,

bitcoin is based on decentralized use whereas no one controls it.

There is no bad etiquette because bitcoin is about freedom.  I am freely providing n00bs with an educated opinion that suggest they avoid this would be scalper low life scum bag.

Hi
234  Economy / Goods / Re: WTS 3 x Radeon HD6990 Sapphire cards on: July 01, 2011, 08:50:32 PM

Hi : please research market rates before thread crapping.  Goto ebay and do a search on completed auctions for 6990's.  They've been selling for upwards of $1300.  A huge benefit of the 6990 is simply condensing mining gear.  I have 8 5830's running, but have to have them spread across 2 mobo's and then 1 in a stand alone system.

I still enjoy my 5830's, as my 4x5830 system was maybe $700 total and gets 1GH without oc'ing the cards to their max.

Hi

I think it is stupid to pay $999 from a scalper. Why reinforce the behavior.  6990 for mining is utterly stupid now as it will not pay itself off for quite some time.

Nothing wrong in letting n00bs know that they are getting suckered.

Hi

Lots of problems reported with 6990 series cards...

6990 = 800 Mhash/s and you want $999 for each...

5830 = 300 Mhash/s and you can get them for way cheaper...just bought one today retail.

difficulty is almost 2 million....lmao...

a fool and his money are soon parted.

Hi

Hi

Has UB started releasing funds back to american players yet?  Last I heard, all money was frozen..so you would dump your chips and then whoever you dumped to would take forever to get them off the site...no thanks.
