Ahh, so its not a totally original idea but im glad to hear that the previous site was well liked, my only concern is would it be popular enough.

I suppose a simple interface with the price per game would work.

Nope, Directbet beats you up with just several years, but it's gone from few. So the niche is empty. And there is a huge demand for.

Few problems to think of:

1. Who will cover the returning TX fees? Then what will be your min.bet & min.odds so every bet to have profit at least to cover those fees?

2. How can you beat up Pinnace odds. One of the best in the industry and they are not banning winners. Fairlay is copying them.

3. Trust
From all mentioned above?number 3 is the most important and the very hard for a gambling site to gain. It will take time before gamblers will trust you
So better gain trust first or gain trust sooner .because we gamblers will always find something good if you can make those rightful

Actually building trust as an on-chain betting is much more easier than an off-chain bookie.

1. People can see after every game every single paid transaction. For bigger transparency and basic trust, there could be a dedicated panel with a transaction list.

2. People can signal in the case of a problem very fast.

Beating odds (offering the best odds) when extracting TX fees and still being on profit is the real problem.

Let's starts tonight betting fun Smiley

The first game I will be on is:

Zenit vs RB Leipzig

IMO Russians will start very aggressive with the idea of getting ahead. That's why I'm going for

Over 5 corners first-half @ 2.75

and

Both teams to score & O2,5 @  2.00

224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Vega cards (56 and 64) crash in value when Monero goes RandomX?? on: November 04, 2019, 10:29:39 PM
What do you guys think?

I heard a lot of miners bought these cards to mine Monero and the hashrates will be cut a lot (to be more cpu friendly) when it changes to RandomX.

Will the Vega cards be dumped at cheap cheap, or will the Monero miners simply change to a different coin?

Nope, most probably will just switch to another coin than sell their gear cheap.

According to Nicehash, current profitability for Vega 64 is 0.70 USD/Day with 10c/Kw on electricity. With only 40% used on CryptoNote algo.

225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bakkt’s Bitcoin Futures Volume Explodes 260% to Trade $11M in 24 Hours on: November 04, 2019, 09:46:23 PM
I'm not so optimistic and I wouldn't call it 'exploding'. IMO currently this is not influencing Bitcoin price at all.

As we can see from the article graph, compared to the previous days it's a significant increase. But Bakkt’s volume is still negligible compared to 25B daily BTC/USD alone. I will be happy and call it news when I see the volume over 100M+ for at least 10-15 consecutive days.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Huge Price Increase Following Stakenet's 2.0 Rebrand And Presentation Video! on: November 04, 2019, 08:04:57 PM

The current FOMO is not worth buying.
IMO its a temporary euphoria and in a week or two Stakenet will return to 600-700 satoshi range.

THEN, it will worth buying just before the launch of LN Dex. At this point LN DEX is in the category "will be offering"
227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 04, 2019, 07:22:39 PM
Tonight I want to try something extreme for betting on Spal vs Sampdoria:

Spal to lead the 1st half. And the game to be Draw at the end. Odds are 15+.
I expect Spal to press Sampdoria and 1st half to end 1-0 or 2-0. But Sampdoria has shown before that they can make comebacks.

The game is about to start at 20. Wish me luck Cheesy
228  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance to Open Beijing Office Amid China’s Renewed Blockchain Push on: November 04, 2019, 07:12:46 PM

Binance opened a US branch on 23 Sept https://finance.yahoo.com/news/binance-us-opens-deposits-registrations-131459196.htm.
Now a Chinese office and most probably a trading platform very soon.

Nah, Chinese won't allow any exchanges to be open soon specially Binance in their soil. They won't change their stance banning crypto exchange.

It will be interesting to see both working and will the US Congress trying to implicate some restrictions on the US branch due to the Chinese activities of Binance. Still, BNB is one of the best investments around.

That's the thing, I really don't understand why people are so excited about China right now. I hope you guys don't forget what did they in 2017.

Maybe the Chinese will finally allow it. Because they are actively deleting articles and online materials about the crypto ban after Xi Jinping 180-turn on cryptocurrencies.

The Chinese government is actively preparing to launch own crypto. While IMO they will connect it to their mobile apps (https://daxueconsulting.com/payment-methods-in-china/), I'm sure they will also want to have it on some (regulated) exchanges. And if Binance is one of those regulated exchanges... BNB will skyrocket.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should Ethereum Add the "Frozen Wallet" Feature for Certain Adresss? on: November 04, 2019, 06:01:49 PM
As we know, there are currently many cases of crypto hacking, especially this often occurs in ERC20-based tokens. So to anticipate this, should Ethereum add the "Frozen Wallet" feature just for certain Adresss to their smart contract? I think this way can prevent the hackers to selling their loot. Although this method will change the crypto vision from "decentralization" to "centralization", but if this method is effective I think it's no matter.

What do you think?

No, this is wrong. It will compromise the whole idea of crypto-currencies and the paradigm of your keys = your coins.

I wouldn't give a satoshi for coin where somebody somewhere could decide to lock my own coins.
230  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitcoinOnline.io BETA is Live! Crypto Social Network, Forums & More on: November 04, 2019, 05:35:43 PM
BitcoinOnline.io is with clean UI, I like it.

Still, you need content to interact with users. My suggestion is to offer an incentive for the first let's say a thousand users. With those thousand users on board, feeds of the users will be a lot richer.

AC Milan vs Lazio What do you feel to win this match? I dominate choosing Lazio as the championship team even though I will travel to AC Milan, Lazio will still challenge this match, but here I will bet on the score 1-0 for lazio.

Cagliari was enough on the surprize list for today.

So tonight I'm expecting the more classy team to win - as you've said Lazio. But I'm betting on Over 2.5 as I'm expecting some stable action and maybe 1-2 or 1-3 for Lazio.

The moment you are going to drink 2-3 beers, cheering Exact Score + Over 2.5 bets matched Cheesy

233  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What about Gibraltar? on: November 03, 2019, 06:49:59 PM
There is a more interesting problem than customs on Gibraltar <> UK border.

"Around 20,000 people are permanently employed in Gibraltar, consisting of both locals, and foreigners living just across the border in Spain. It has been estimated that about 9,000 cross the border for work everyday and most of the time is without incident."

A friend of mine is one of those 20 000 people. He's living in Algeciras because it's a few times cheaper and he's worried about what to do after 2021.
Brits are planning to cancel the people's free movement agreement after Brexit. There will be no VISAs for EU citizens, but most probably they will be allowed 3 months of free stay every 6 months. If Brits doesn't make some exceptions, many people will end screwed.
234  Economy / Speculation / Re: One more dump before halving? on: November 03, 2019, 05:12:34 PM
I spoke with a few friends miners. All but one are claiming they are holding all mined coin for the times after the halving. Their hopes are that the halving will rocket Bitcoin price at least with 30%-40%.

IMO there will be a vacuum before the halving instead of a big dump.

236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The TRX Speculation and Info Thread on: November 03, 2019, 03:13:24 PM
TRX will be on a bull run in the next 6-12 months.
Samsung just integrated Tron into their Keystore, DApps are getting more and more popular every day.

Recently I replaced my LTC holdings with Tron and EOS. Seems both are more perspective than Litecoin now, especially after the LTC halving.
237  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin becoming a safehaven currency in Argentina on: November 03, 2019, 02:20:42 PM
Quote
I guess the workaround is buying bitcoin and then taking a trip to another country where you can cash out in dollars using local bitcoins.

It's not just Argentina. It's applicable to every county with a local crisis or high inflation.
I was thinking about the same stuff a few years ago. It is too risky for me.

1. You need to operate with over 100K-200K USD in coins. Or the airplane tickets and other amendments will eat your profit.
2. Being nobody in such a country and operating with such amount of cash on a daily/weekly basis... very dangerous.
3. Every Localbitcoins deal could end up as scam or get you beat (or even worst)
4. Customs problems and local authority bribing. Again eating your profit.
238  Economy / Economics / Re: China’s President Xi Urges Accelerated Blockchain Technology Adoption on: November 03, 2019, 01:43:09 PM
Most funny stuff around the new Chinese crypto is how the Chinese government is deleting all old articles about cryptocurrency ban and how evil are cryptocurrencies Smiley

I'm curious to see their interpretation and implementation of blockchain... and how it will be connected to the Chinese rating system. My guess is everybody will have one and only one government wallet, connected with their rating ID.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Big money moving in next year, means greater demand for DEX projects? on: November 02, 2019, 10:35:22 PM
Bitcoin halving doesn't have a correlation with DApps.

IMO DAass will surge for another reason. People are looking more and more for trusted ways to operate a service, like smart contracts. EOS and Tron are providing great and fast networks for gambling transactions. And as per currents trends, gambling is the current crypto engine.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bittrex removing SLR coin on: November 02, 2019, 07:24:54 PM
Hi,

SLR will be delisted from Bittrex in a few days, does anyone know a safe wallet or exchange where to transfer?

Thanks

Unfortunately after Bittrex delisting due to low volume, there isn't a single reputable and good exchange trading SolarCoin.

I had a bad experience in the past with Livecoin and Graviex volume is exactly zero. My plan is to wait for SLR to popup on some bigger exchange and sell it all.
