Max Coins: 1,000,000 - that's good

yes, but they are all already in circulation.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Millennium Coin (MIL) on: August 08, 2014, 08:06:37 PM
You again?  lol  Like the new logo.

As far as I know besides cryptonote coins this is would be the first coin with working ring signatures. Are they already working or is this a work in progress?

You can pretty much tell from the OP this is a shitclone with no substance behind it's promises. Coins are getting worse, at least a couple of months ago there was more of an effort to look like a legit developer.

I disagree.  With no premine or instamine, what incentive would a dev have to create such a coin?

Any pools finding blocks?

Yup, Suprnova has a bunch!

thank you pool operators for adding this coin in such a short notice!  Cool

I like this one Smiley

Yup, I second that, love our pool operators!
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN[[CHC] * Swiss Credit * / X15 / Anonymous / * NO PREMINE/INSTAMINE/IPO * on: August 08, 2014, 06:29:53 PM
"blocks" : 74,
"timeoffset" : 0,
"moneysupply" : 740.00000000,

So far so good.
A little fast, 74 blocks in like 10 minutes?

That's the way it works when the difficulty is low.  Will stabilize once a pool is created.

Cool, I'll keep my eye on this one.

Undecided Ok... in the spirit of being humble - I can get caught up in the details...  My bad guys.  So a premine did not happen, but a private mining period does exist which did reference.  I can see how it could be mistaken for a premine, and bad blood could flow from it.  I have edited the first post in the thread to a standard Announcement and it does reference a private mining period.  Hopefully this will help clear up any future issues.

Well done dev, I applaud your transparency.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CRYSTAL] CrystalCoin - X15 - Mining Game! - LAUNCHED NOW! on: August 08, 2014, 05:11:11 PM
Guys , its time to give supernova the love they deserve
https://crystal.suprnova.cc/
Spread le hash

Agreed, suprnova is a great pool and mining is very profitable right now.  As the volume and
price on c-cex continue to rise, it's time to mine some cheap coins before that is no longer
an option.

I give up.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: winecoin Or later to support the purchase of wine on: August 08, 2014, 04:42:31 PM

lol, what is going on here?
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: winecoin Or later to support the purchase of wine on: August 08, 2014, 04:40:24 PM
Huh?
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BIGBullion Launch on: August 08, 2014, 04:23:07 PM
Hello everyone, I try not to spread FUD and welcome everyone to check my history that reflects this. I like trying to support as many alts as I can, but something here seems fishy. If I am wrong, I apologize in advance, and hopefully we'll all continue on our way. I will try to be precise yet concise in my questions to save everyone time. I will include links as well as screen shots of critical information of what I'm most worried about to make sure everything is available. Again, if I'm way off on this, I humbly apologize.

Timeline of events:

Dev begins a twitter account on July 22nd and sends a series of tweets about the new coin.

Blockchain: http://188.226.197.228

Here is my question. The blockchain shows the first block being mined on June 24th with a reward of 50 coins and the second block being mined on July 26th with a reward of 36 coins which is consistent with the coins specs. Many coins began to be mined at 1 diff.

Imgur: https://i.imgur.com/PTsZDs0.png

As of now, the link to the blockchain shows that the coin is on block 1618 with a difficulty of 788,578.

The coin specs say no premine and have a specific release date yet the blockchain shows it being mind currently. So what's the deal?

Bakeo,

Thank you for being diligent and helping protect the ALT coin world!!  We need people like you among us to help make sure crap coins do not rip people off - so KEEP IT UP!!!  (Seriously no sarcasm here.)

Now on to the topic at hand.  A "premine" is defined as coins that are taken out during the creation process of the coin.  Hence the name PRE-mine as in before mining.  We did not do this.  That is why the white paper states no premine.  However; if you look at post #17 on this BTC Talk thread I clearly explained that there would be a dev mining period where we will mine between .85-1% of the coins for normal development payouts.  We are also using this time period to test the network, nodes, and our primary pool vendor.
Keep any and all questions coming!

In that case, I think the term "no premine" is deceitful, as what you are doing has the exact same result as a 1% premine.  I have no problem with it, but call it what it is.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CRYSTAL] CrystalCoin - X15 - Mining Game! - LAUNCHED NOW! on: August 08, 2014, 03:27:33 PM
when the game comes out , this coin will up to the moon

Exactly, that's why it's not all about price right now.  The price will be determined once
the game is released regardless of what happens in the interim.  All good coins start out
with low prices on small exchanges.  I was there for the start of DRK, CLOAK, XC, etc.
They all started on small exchanges with low volume and prices from a few hundred to
a few thousand satoshis.  As their features were released, they experienced healthy
growth until they reached the status you see today.  I believe CRYSTAL can follow
the same path, so I am not concerned about the value today, as I know it will be
much higher in the coming weeks.

why are you so stupid?Huh
why are you selling so low?
 Huh Huh Huh

I say let them dump.  I have a couple of low buy orders set and I'm more than happy
to scoop up cheap coins.  Dumpers will be crying a month from now.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CRYSTAL] CrystalCoin - X15 - Mining Game! - LAUNCHED NOW! on: August 08, 2014, 02:46:35 PM
Yo dev....spend the 3 BTC and get this on Bittrex ASAP....you have 30 BTC from the IPO...get a move on.

I don't think that an immediate addition to Bittrex is necessary.  Coins that are added to Bittrex immediately
often fail within a few days.  Coins that start on smaller exchanges and progressively increase their volume
are much more likely to succeed.  It's actually much better to be added to Bittrex after POW has ended or
is nearing it's end.  Unfortunately for CRYSTAL, it does have a long POW period so we probably don't want
to wait that long.

Secondly, the IPO only brought in 15 BTC and that is for the development of the game.  If the dev were to
pay the 3 BTC to get added to Bittrex, it would be out of pocket.  This is not a pump and dump coin or a
short term play.  Everyone in the crypto world is in such a rush these days.
what's the game for ,how can the game help the coin??

LOL, have you read the OP about Crystalite?  CRYSTALS are built in to the game.  They are needed to play.
This coin is extremely dynamic and has real world value.  Educated yourself on what is coming:

Because it's awesome and actually has a useful purpose unlike 99% of the coins on BCT.
