221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another major DeFi attack on: October 26, 2020, 12:14:29 PM
Any DeFi projects can get hacked either through the platform or through exchanges, been DeFi doesn't mean the project is hack proof, few DeFi  projects got hacked through kucoin exchange weeks ago and I'm surprised that few of these DeFi projects changed their smart contract because of the hack, revealing that they aren't 100% decentralized.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Think before joining any campaign on: October 26, 2020, 12:09:55 PM
Be careful of new projects that use dex like Uniswap, just because a project get listed on this exchange doesn't clear the fact that they are legit or not scam, do other research on projects, it's very easy to list tokens on uniswap and everybody can do it, that's why uniswap is very dangerous, there is no screening or investigation before listing from the exchange so you are on your own
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why didn't PayPal decided to use xrp than Bitcoin? on: October 25, 2020, 03:54:55 PM
It's possible that PayPal will add more crypto coins as time goes on, coinbase started with very limited crypto in the beginning of its life circle, I guess that's bitcoin and Ethereum only and now it's more than that, give paypal time and you will see, another thing is ripple is centralized, it's left for PayPal to add decentralized or centralized coins
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Witch is the best coin, XRP OR ETN? on: October 25, 2020, 03:51:00 PM
Of cos it's ripple ( XRP ) judging from popularity and support, ripple beats ETN marginally right now but ETN isn't bad at all, if the team keeps pushing it will get better someday, it's better to hold some ETN just in case of a better awaiting future
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrops Confusion on: October 24, 2020, 08:06:41 AM
Are Airdrops still paying? YES they are but 99 percent of Airdrops won't worth your time, I Know it doesn't cost a thing to join Airdrops, you are only going to spend very few minutes on each Airdrop campaigns but why? For few pennies or a 1$ ? I'd rather take that chances with bounties instead.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could Tether (USDT) be really called decentralized cryptocurrency? on: October 24, 2020, 08:02:54 AM
Tether ( USDT ) and XRP ( Ripple ) are confirmed centralized crypto project, who told you that USDT is decentralized? That's a misleading information OP, if USDT was decentralized they won't be able to freeze stolen funds and illegal money on their blockchain, you need to do good research before raising claims
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you determine if an altcoin is worth investing in? on: October 21, 2020, 06:02:34 PM
Majority of new crypto projects have teams that know too less about crypto and blockchain but for the fact that crypto have huge money pumping into the system almost everyone wants to take their shot, you need to watch out for the team qualifications first and followed by their connections like partnerships, these are very very important before the project use case.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT IS BINANCE SMART CHAIN? WILL BINANCE BECOME NEW ETHEREUM RIGHTS? on: October 21, 2020, 05:59:24 PM
BNB holders who are interested in staking BNB can also assist in the development of Binance Smart Chain and earn bonuses. Can Binance replace Ethereum?

binance is one from many ethereum competitors, and this altcoin is the best one
but, i never think if binance will replace ethereum, because ethereum marketcap almost 10x from binance marketcap mate

It's possible for binance chain to be as big as Ethereum is today in near future but taking over Ethereum won't be that easy, honestly this year so far binance chain and bnb is one of the best project that bring the highest ROI for holders, the team are very capable of anything, three figures is possible for this project
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you trust Defi projects?? on: October 20, 2020, 06:39:18 AM
OP you said you knew the team, is that through video or just telegram chat? Make sure the team are damn real and qualified too, just because your teacher made 3500$ from a DeFi project which automatically isn't the health DeFi project you talking about makes things looks more clearly, don't you think?
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you trust Defi projects?? on: October 20, 2020, 06:37:03 AM
Hello , as my hobby , again um doing my  research on new " Defi healthcare " Project. The Name of the Project is "medicalVEDA" and This is a Chinese project. I'm telling about this project is due to following reasons , BUT i have some doubts as well , so that's why i need your opinions before investing to their IEO..

Reasons are :
  • Partners
  • Team members were directly contacted by me
  • Active Telegram group
  • One of my crypto teacher (my friend ) has invested [He has earned 3500$+ profit by investing an another project in last 3 months] thats why im following him i
[And i read the white paper ,but I coudn't find a wrong with that , tell me if you found any issue]

, So these are the reasons , Tell me your opinions against my reasons and if you have invested to this project kindly tell me the reasons for that..
Mate I've been in this crypto space for a long time now and i have the full confidence to tell you that health projects don't work in crypto space, they either end up in the dustbin or turn scam right in front of you and most especially why DeFi ? DeFi Hypes aren't over and many people are doing their best to make money out of DeFi, I hope you know what you are doing
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Better using DAI or USDT? on: October 19, 2020, 11:31:52 AM
If I want to cash out for stability should I use DAI or USDT? What do you people think is safer?. I read tether can be frozen by a central authority but also dai may not be totally secure from what I've heard.
The choice is yours to make, I will give you few reasons why one is better than the other and vice versa but still they re both not bad

DAI

1. Fully decentralized
2. Not available on many exchanges
3. Trading pair is not on all exchanges
4. Low volume compare to other stable coins

USDT

1. Fully centralized
2. Available on Ninety nine percentage of exchanges
3. Usdt to other coins trading pair available
4. Well supported
5. Stablecoin with the biggest volume.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time that there will be no new altcoin projects anymore on: October 19, 2020, 11:27:13 AM
Since the creation of Ethereum and other smart contract-based and token creation platforms we have seen the number of newly launched projects token created, we now have thousands of dead tokens and coins but many are still create it seems many tokens just come and go.

Do you think we will have a time that there will be no new tokens created and people will stop investing and supporting new tokens or coins?
If this is what you are hoping for it's never going to happen, most crypto projects are fully decentralized, like Ethereum it's a fully decentralized smart contract project and any person can build projects using their ERC20 smart contract engine, this is the use case of Ethereum.  What you hope for will only be possible if all projects are centralized, meaning they will have to allow certain people to build crypto projects only
233  Other / Meta / Re: Proof of Authentication Posts are life savings on this forum on: October 18, 2020, 08:11:32 AM
It's true that proof of authentication is very important but I suggest you shouldn't post it if the bounty manager doesn't request for it, this will turn the post into spamming and forum moderators will remove it, I think this claim of yours should be targeting the bounty managers that don't implement proof of authentication on their bounties .
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My take on DeFi bounties on: October 18, 2020, 08:04:27 AM
I've had enough with new projects, my advice is never rely on any, just try your luck with little money you can afford to throw away and as a bounty hunter do some research and hope or pray for luck, every new developers I see are money grabbers, they only rush up their projects to take advantage of newbies
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why FOMO isn't as bad as people make it seem. on: October 17, 2020, 10:33:52 AM
It's still about winning and losing, sometimes FOMo helps and sometimes they are bad news, I suggest doing research on the project first before joining the FOMO, most projects are simply pump and dump so you need to be very careful, research should come first
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Token on: October 17, 2020, 10:01:33 AM
Are there scam tokens in UNISWAP?

Who saw before?

How do you describe them?
There are tons of scam tokens on UNISWAP, you asked how to describe them? Well they are mostly in disguise, they trick victims by pretending to be the original tokens but one way to expose them is their smart contract, it will surely be different, for example a token name can be SNIP and scammers will create their own fake version of SNIP, if care is not taken you will think it's the same, be more friendly with Smart Contract
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Trading Platform! on: October 15, 2020, 09:05:45 AM
I am using Tradesatoshi, Yobit, EthrerDelta, Bitterx, IDEX and found Tradesatoshi is the simplest and cheapest trading platform.
New Trading platform "ARBIDEX" launching soon.

Arbidex is the first trading platform that aggregates liquidity from exchanges. Right now we have Bitfinex, Bittrex, Poloniex, WEX, Kraken and GDAX connected. A user has an opportunity to trade on these exchanges from a single account and single window. The system will allow users to exchange their cryptocurrency with a best possible exchange rate automatically and the total commission fee will be lower than any of those that exist at the moment.

I'm tired of too many new exchanges nowadays, do we really need that much new exchanges when the old ones are providing the best services we ever dreamt of, even when kucoin got hacked I still keep using the exchange because it's one of my favorite, binance is another, every thing a small time trader or a full trader needs is Available on kucoin and binance, what more can I need?
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Will UNISWAP become a centralized exchange? on: October 15, 2020, 09:01:28 AM
Given the latest hype news from Uniswap, is it possible that in the new management scheme there will be risks of centralization and possible absorption by big people?
For example, the Dharma Corporation may well exert pressure and control over Uniswap.
The fact is not all decentralized projects and Exchanges are truly decentralized, let's not forget that people are controlling these decentralized projects either exchanges or projects, decentralized means out of people's control, cants be uttered in any ways but that's not what's happening around crypto dex exchanges, the word 'decentralized' sounds so untrue
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Solar mining vs diesel generator mining ? Any experience? on: October 14, 2020, 05:33:26 AM
Would it be more safer to buy coins instead of mining? After calculating the costs of buying cards and setting up solar panels with batteries and inverter i see that costs are too gigantic if one plan to run cards for 24 hrs everyday, is anyone mining using diesel generator? Bad idea?
It doesn't make sense to start buying diesels to mine crypto, you will be in huge debt fast, try to do some calculations and you will see that diesel is a big NO, solar is better if you have the money but ROI? I don't guarantee that, I think you should invest instead of mining, very soon cards like rx580 and 570 will be obsolete because they mine Ethereum the best and Ethereum is changing to POS next month.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't venture into something you aren't completely sure about. on: October 14, 2020, 05:29:02 AM
You are pointing out that crypto mining nowadays is not profitable anymore? IMHO, I don't think so, look at Ethereum now the miners are struck another goldmine due to the insane increase of transaction fees, but only for Ether. and I'm sure it was a quietly different situation in other mineable altcoins.
Mining Ethereum (Ethash) is a gold mine but for how long? Those who benefits from this are those miners with gigantic mining farms and rigs, but mind you before the year runs out it's a goodbye to Ethereum mining and also Ethereum Classic will join very soon too, I'm just hoping that new coin will come out that will use Ethash Algorithm and become very profitable to mine too.
