221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BCNEX | The Ultimate Blockchain Trading Platform on: May 16, 2019, 03:38:27 PM
What plans do you have to keep your token price high and prevent its dumping especially by bounty hunters? Bounty programs would help promote projects but they dump token prices when rewarded in the project tokens. Do you have plans for token burn or buyback?

Each quarter, we will use 20% of our profits to buy BCNX tokens and proceed to burn them, until we buy back 50% of the total amount of BCNX, which is 100 million (one hundred million). All acquisition transactions will be announced on the blockchain. We will continue to burn BCNX until there are only 100,000,000 BCNX on the market.

If all these can be achieved then the future is great for this project. Buying back as high as 50% of circulation is quite big. Look forward to seeing them to fruition.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BCNEX | The Ultimate Blockchain Trading Platform on: May 15, 2019, 02:19:54 AM

Buyback is not a good business model. Look at Bgogo. It is tanking prety hard because there is no liquidity and they have made the mistake not to use Bitmax model plus Bnb model. What people want are locked up tokens like eterbase is going to do to trade negative fees. Also dividends are a good strategy.

I'm in agreement with your view in regards to the dividend model, some investors are comfortable with the periodic dividend that projects gives and are compelled to hold some tokens to ensure that they earn some passive income. Reducing the amount of token in circulation would also help to keep the value relatively stable, because of the impact of demand and supply.

Indeed dividend is quite good but look at projects like BOLD4 their dividend has not achieved any fit. Before investors can be compelled to hold,  the team must show them the light at the end of the tunnel otherwise dumping is inevitable. As a matter of fact the so called dividend will further increase circulation and from there you can tell the outcome. It all boils down to how the team is able to champion the course
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BCNEX | The Ultimate Blockchain Trading Platform on: May 15, 2019, 12:26:38 AM

I hope the tokens don’t dump after all these. It’s a good time. But the team has to put down some rules to keep the tokens price high. They can as well give these tokens a usecaae as soon as the platform is launched. Hold IEO would be great.

Bcnex may not be in a perfect position to prevent the project from dumping. This is because the cryptocurrency space is highly volatile and every project experiences some extent of dumping. This may however be controlled by the team setting aside some funds to buy back the token from week hands, thereby preventing the excessive dumping of the tokens.

These days buyback also does not work in a good way. Lots of projects promised that but it did not really happen. Need some other novel idea for sure in this crypto field to prevent dumping.

Dumping belongs to hunters, whales and investors who aren't convinced to stick with the project's blueprint. As much as total control over dump is nearly impossible, it can be managed especially if the team is solid enough to stay positive. They can intensify promotions for more patronage even after listing.
Also listing on an exchange with big volume tends to increase hopes therefore reducing dump but listing on common exchange platforms create fear making investors to rush and dump. Generally, Holds depends largely on how developers convince investors on the prospects ahead. Where possible, buy back to increase demand will be very helpful too.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BCNEX | The Ultimate Blockchain Trading Platform on: May 13, 2019, 09:51:49 PM
They started the social media bounty lately, you can check their bounty thread for information on this regard.
no no, there is no social media campaign program here

they only have

Translation
75,000 BCNX
Signature
150,000 BCNX
Media/Blog Articles
225,000 BCNX
Video (Youtube)
225,000 BCNX

Remember you need to register on the website and complete your kyc before participating on the bounty. This link will be helpful to locate their bounty thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5115587.0
You are absolutely right if participants don't pass KYC don't start work
and keep in mind if KYC will be confirmed 24 hours after you submit document

Its so sad to think that BCNEX dont have Social Campaign, this is the only thing to do so we can spread more about BCNEX, hope they update, also the KYC is so fast in processing, it only took a hours for me to become verified!
I think every project can not only do promotion on social media but can be done like in this forum, this is the decision of the BCNEX team I think they are smarter than us

Fact is that both forums like this and social media got irreplaceable roles. Each has its place and the more awareness, the better for the project but the good news is that social media tasks are also available. Users can perform to earn some tokens and that extends awareness. Check at: https://www.bcnex.net/earn-bcnx.html
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will alts really die once BTC starts climbing unbelievable highs? on: May 08, 2019, 02:52:54 AM
Once bitcoin gets to the reaches of $100,000 per coin as some here are speculating it could reach within a few years then you will start seeing altcoins dropping off like flies.
The king will take the reigns and at this point in time will probably be the main transmittance of value in several parts of the world such as venezuela.
Its time will come.

Well,  a rise for BTC will be a rise for alts especially ETH.  We all know how they crashed together. They must't always but this time prospects are that bull will be across board. I don't see BTC touching 100k as some claim.  Until then but for now we keep investing
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum goes to the top! on: May 03, 2019, 06:36:17 PM
I see price growth and ethereum charts getting better. Although it is difficult to reach $ 200. Well, this is a good opportunity to start buying ethereum. Is this a good idea for now? Let's discuss it. Thank you in advance.

I'm on the positive end having high hopes that my investment in Eth will definitely yield. I see it hapening now. Although everything rises and falls but Eth has touched its deepest and hope's come alife to ascend. I hope very soon we all get to smile
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Vs Trading on: May 03, 2019, 12:45:59 AM
2019 has been a year with mixed feelings for crypto enthusiasts. A lot of bounty hunters have now switched over to trading, because bounty is longer profitable.
Some that have combined the two (both bounty and trading), while larger percentage are still into bounty, despite not being profitable.
I envisage that in two to three years to this time, the population of people on bounty will reduce drastically, because it will no longer be profitable as it used to be.

Well, I'm a hunter without regrets. In fact trading is not on my list currently. Complainants are either cheaters or opportunists that are not consistent or even inexperienced. Its just to know what you are getting yourself involved in. Most times attractive bounty rewards are shitty yet people run after them unsuspecting. They are still legit bounties and some of us are still smiling. Talking about trading, there are several instances where people lose their life savings in a split second. Which is better? None actually. Only a function of the person involved and how he does it
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pooled staking. Is it any good? on: May 03, 2019, 12:30:48 AM
Do you think that staking pools have any future? Are they any good? Last time, I've heard most of them are scam since they leave at will without returning your hard-earned crypto.

As far as I know, only StakeNet's staking pool seems to be a viable option now. However, I look forward to an Ethereum staking pool named Rocket Pool, that will become highly usable once ETH switches to PoS.

Nonetheless, what do you think about this? Any good legit staking service that you would like to recommend, would be highly appreciated. Wink

I would recommend Stake united as a pretty good one. It has a vast number of altcoins and a user friendly interface. Also it has built an amazing blockchain community of over 20000 members within a short period of time. Every reward you get is deposited immediate into your wallet on the platform. Its pretty nice
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Crime is getting Worse, what do we do? on: May 01, 2019, 06:18:23 AM
https://news.yahoo.com/cryptocurrency-thefts-fraud-hit-1-211446327.html

In Q1 alone of 2019 there was $356m in theft of digital currencies from exchanges and scams while losses from fraud hit 851m. This number includes the QuadrigaX scam which accounts to about $134m in total losses.

What can we do to help stop these from happening and getting worse?

However secure crypto may be there will always be scammers. The best we can do is improving awareness so people can get informed and be cautious. A friend of mine was a victime recently. Sadly, victims are either unaware of their scammers tactics or even careless. Having so much worth on any exchange is risky. Store much of your worth in your wallet instead. Also attempting to make free and cheap money from cheap sites is blameable. Let's all be cautious and up to date with information because most times scammers are well advanced than their prey.
230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto film brings Bitcoin to Hollywood on: April 28, 2019, 01:44:56 AM
Here's a review of the new film "Crypto" that stars Kurt Russell and Luke Hemsworth and is about Bitcoin. A big Hollywood film with big-name stars is a pretty big step in getting Bitcoin recognized globally and making it more legitimate in the eyes of the general public:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8w2EXTKQzA&feature=youtu.be

That is beautiful. The triller is quite inviting and I see this move as a positive one for cryptocurrency. I eeally would anticipate the likes of Nollywood, Bollywood and co to follow suit
231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Tether? on: April 28, 2019, 01:30:55 AM
I've seen the price flow of Tether but I can't say that its stability could remain the same for a long time. I still don't believe that Tether has a big impact in the price of Bitcoin.
As for me, no coin could manipulate the price of bitcoin
since it's known to be an independent coin.
Tether needs to undergo a lot of tests of time as what bitcoin did.

Loud it!
NO COIN CAN MANIPULATE THE PRICE OF BTC.
Tether should prove itself over time then we can trade with absolute reliability
232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin can't be banned on: April 28, 2019, 01:19:47 AM
I would like to take up the points of an article published on Bitcoinist. (Even if some will say that this media is Pro-Bitcoin the points are the most important.)

Quote
1. Laws Can’t Be Written Against Bits and Bites
2. You Can’t Ban Open-Source Distributed Software
3. Bitcoin Can Be Broadcasted via Satellite
4. You can Send Bitcoin Via SMS
5. You Can’t Shut Down the Power Grid

Any regulation can't prevent us from using Bitcoin. Despite their attempt to keep an eye on the system, it is simply impossible for them to ban people using it. So why giving a fuck to "I'm afraid my country will ban Bitcoin!"
They have nothing to fully stop the ecosystem that is currently emerging.

Government vary across the globe but a unanimous  warmth embrace to bitcoin will fertilize the growth of btc. If you understand this then you will agree with me that the otherwise is calamitous. Don't underestimate the power of government because they can actually do and undo. You can't tell me that if Chinese government continue in their current direction it won't affect btc. What if many other countries follow suit? Government can drastically reduce btc to a low level but I don't anticipate such anyway.
233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin and online transctions on: April 28, 2019, 01:00:22 AM
despite over 2 decades of growth of internet, statistics show that only 10% of retail transactions were conducted online. payment channels such as lightning are a massive opportunity for online payments

The way btc rises and falls shows that it's not everybody that can risk having it soley for payments. For the tycons, physical cash in the bank is more reliable because its variation with time is within a bearable control. Stability in the crypto market will be like a chemoattractant to tycoons although that seems nearly impossible. Meanwhile amidst this volatility challenge, I think 10% is fare enough if actually the estimation is correct
234  Economy / Speculation / Re: "RIP bear market" on: April 25, 2019, 11:00:47 PM
For some of us that has been following the events in cryptocurrencies market, I don't think there is any reason why the bearish trend should continue and that is why I am joining other cryptocurrencies enthusiasts to say "rest in peace bear market "(December 2017--December 2018). I am an investor and a trader and I see bitcoin going up from now till 2021. If you doubt me see when I predicted the current bullish trend and said the bearish trend is over https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5126004.msg50368970#msg50368970
Remember that if you did not know how this market work? This is not an advice to invest but for those that are an experienced traders,  I think we should buy early before the institutional investors jump in!  Happy bull market to all of us!

Well, nice predictions. Perhaps your predictions in time past have fallen in but I'm just gonna say that everyone should trade with open mind. Any/everything is actually possible even though we ernestly hope for the bull
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance(BNB) best alt coin ! on: April 12, 2019, 04:03:46 AM
If bitcoin will reach 20k usd then BNB coin will be aprox.70 usd with current BNB price.on that time BNB coin coin will be the most deairable coin.
This is the right time to invest in BNB coin..
This coin will touch 100 usd surely in future.it has a great potential.
Ico price was 0.1 usd and today.....😵insane growth

Nice one mate! I share same idea. I'm off to make my investment. Hoping to smile soon and recover from the losses of the past
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this a good idea? on: April 08, 2019, 02:24:34 AM
Is it a good idea in your opinion for me to wait for ethereum price to increase so I can sell it and move the money to more alt coins or should I just move the current amount of ethereum to other altcoins right now?  Undecided

Personally I still beleive so much in ETH despite the dip. It will sure rise again nevertheless, if you have lost confidence in the coin, then there's no need keeping it against you faith. There are other potential altcoins example EOS which is top ranked by CMC. Ofcourse you know that coin explosion most times take CMC trend. Trade wisely mate.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the best coin buy now? on: April 08, 2019, 02:08:09 AM
I agree with your words so that it is good to buy coins. Because the prices of the coins have increased due to the purchase of coins, which then attracts the buyer's attention. As a result, everyone loves to buy coins and loves it. You can buy Bitcoin or ETH coins. These two coins are very good. You can buy a token again from which you can earn good profit.so everyone interested.
Bitcoin and ethereum are the best coins to buy right now while they are still on a low price, and you will only jave to wait for a bull run sell it.  Another coins are stellar, tron , and cardano.

While I agree with you on BTC and ETH, my third choice would be EOS because of its position in CMC and you know coin explosion usually take CMC trend. Next would be XRP, ADA....
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I'm now accumulating 15 altcoins, what do you think? on: April 08, 2019, 01:56:49 AM
Having accumulated bitcoin once it dropped under $3000 from late november until early March, I've now switched over to diversifying out with an altcoin spread. I picked up 15 altcoins last week, will continue buying for the next couple months probably.

I might add a few coins, but what do you think of my altcoin spread. Note that I already own a lot of BTC, a good amount of ETH, and a little BCH and LTC and DOGE. I don't plan on buying more of those coins.

XRP
EOS
Stellar
Binance coin
XMR
LINK
HOT
WAVES
BAT
Vechain
ADA
ONT
Tron
Zcash
ZIL

I will add to my allotments in all of those. I was also thinking about picking up some:
Tezos
OMG
Lisk
Maker
Decred
ENJ
DASH
STEEM

What do you think? I don't pay much attention to altcoins so I haven't done much research on plenty of these. Or there are coins I've known a little bit about for a while but never done dedicated research on. Just really trying to get a good diversified portfolio of altcoins for the next bull run to go along with my Bitcoin dominated coin holdings.

Sidenote:
I feel like EOS is the coin I think could gain the most out of those. I could see the next bull run taking it over 200 billion market cap (I could see xrp, eth, and eos at the next peak all getting to around the market cap bitcoin had on the last peak >250 billion). But then i just started doing research on it and saw it was designed to be centralized, and the founder even seems to reject decentralization which is pretty dumb. I mostly think its gonna go crazy cuz I see that right now it is destroying ETH in terms of usage of dapps, so i'm wondering if its gonna take the dapp lead from ETH during the next bull run.

Anyway, any thoughts or comments would be great! Thanks

Hmmm! Nice picks,  good analysis but I thinks the list is pretty much to start with let alone adding more. Crypto world is filled with uncertainties. Peradventure everything falls in you will be made for life but if on the contrary you must be able to bounce back and forge ahead.

Wish you luck but would advice you stick with the first ten on your list.
Personally, I'm in tune with EOS (because of its position in cmc), ADA, XRP and Vechain.

Many people have lost a lot in 2018.They hope that the market environment will be better in 2019.But I think that if we want the market to recover, we need to wait for two years.

Won't take that long. I see prospects for btc and some altcoins this 2019 especially towards the second quater. That is why I will continue to invest because I'm sure good return is near.
