How would they stop it? The wallet has to connect to the chain and wouldn't take long for someone with the skills to figure out the algo and start mining. ye for sure but "legally" not sure we can? I cant find it....is what im saying hahaha |

I saw this on Coindesk the other day, didn't realise it had made it to the telegraph. It's an interesting concept, defiantly something to keep an eye on for us in the UK. It's pathetic, really. Don't be down, buddy  The 2-wall has just gone down 'on it's own'. .. and with respect, you didn't really make major losses on Z-day, you just didn't gain as much as you would have if you'd worked the market in a totally selfish way. In a year, the 'extra' 20 litoshi you might have paid will be but a mote of dust compared with what our dream-coin is doing then. I've honestly sold most of my stash. Considering the loss I've taken from my initial investment, to taking time off my normal work hours to work on coin + explorer (which explorer is still acting funny), I've taken too much of a loss to keep sitting and hoping. you know what they say, don't use any money you cant afford to loose! |

Is there any talks about a multipool?
We individually do not have any buying power to break through the 2/3 Sat sell walls. We saw the supposed Z-Day (3/28) fail. 20 people in an IRC channel with .0005 BTC each arent going to do shit to a sell wall of 30+ btc.
However, if we get a multipool going that converts to BTC and auto-sells for zeit... a few hundred mHash could easily chew through the sell walls and get our price going upward...
Mint, BC, ECC... All of the PoW/PoS coins are doing this, shit, even DOGE is doing it now... Get on board here!!!!

Iv been thinking (brace yourselves), and I think we need to try the TZM angle again! because thats one way we can attract some serious investment for this coin! if they start investing and starting seeing if they have businesses that they can get to accept the coin etc then we will start to get somewhere! I really think we should start reaching out to them again

Should be interesting to see what happens from a legal perspective here. If this was in the U.S. L&Z would just need to pay a fine ~20% of his illegal profits and DogeyMcDoge would be hunted like a dog for rating out his own company like a traitor. Time to see if Britain really is desperate to be as screwed up as the states. dont think anything will happen, this way government can turn around and say sorry we told you so! stop playing with this toy money and get back to work! So we think WE have problems! Found this on another coin thread, thought I'd share it... Really had a funny evening tonight.. DDoS started with about 3 GBit/s on our stratum - nothing special, we have that every day.
The attacker(s) noticed we mitigated the attack, stopped it, and came back with 10GBit/s 30min later.. This was mitigated by our provider and our scripts again without problems. The attack stopped and came back with 30 GBit/s to all our ports, HTTP, HTTPS, Stratum, SSH etc. making the server practically unreachable. Fortunately our scripts took action and banned those attacking IPs, I never saw such a long Banlist in iptables :-)
After that worked out, the attacker came AGAIN, this time with 60bit/s to all our ports, from even more IPs, there where mostly from Russia and China which simply flooded our iptables completely. Our prov even contacted me and noticed me of the attack, they first though we're running a botnet-node on the server :-)
Nevertheless, they're now filtering the traffic at their Juniper Routers, so we're back in Business again and are really, really sorry for the downtime. Suprnova always does the best it can to fight against such attacks, we are having them everyday, but 60gbit/s is really A LOT :-)
Be wise, set-up backup pools, we're now protected on router-level, so we should be fine, but for safety reasons, PLEASE set-up back-up pools !

ye no, those are a bunch of muppets, a better theory i saw was because of the amount of zeit a lot of the whales are perfectly happy making 100% profit on this coin, so they buy at 1 sell at 2 or 3 and double their money, so for them to keep it bouncing between 1sat and 3sat is perfect, but low sell slightly higher rinse and repeat! I'm tending to agree with you AA (although I'm only 4 pages into that thread). I think what we need to do, after we have our own forum & a truly private space within to organise it, it to pool our resources until we have enough ammo to takes at least 4 walls out in a sudden & unannounced surgical strike in a very short time period - an hour or two at most. Then WE will be in control of an extra couple of billion & the whales won't be able to play anymore -If 50 of us save like buggery for a month or so, it should be do-able. +1 I`m in o ye for sure by no means is this coin out haha infact, for me from what im seeing it has the most long term potential! people forget bitcoin wasnt made over nyt it took 4years haha sure we can speed up that process but we do at some point need a concentrated effort! at the same time this needs to be most peoples long term project, unless you flipping your 1sat buys with 2sat sells, zeit wont pay your bills today but there is a good chance is can buy you some groceries and a few bits and bobs in a few months.  I think we forgetting this was the community who pulled together and beat those who try to buy their way to the top! now imagine that kind of dedication at every and all projects we embark on! if they couldnt beat us by using money to get a head, then whats left to try and stop this community from pushing through this shit storm the crypto world is in and coming out on top? we'v been through a lot peeps and we still going strong, this my fellow zeitons is only the beginning  |
