221  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is age a limitation in Bitcoin on: March 31, 2024, 04:45:20 PM
Hi there to all of you. One of the most amazing things I've noticed about Bitcoin is that it doesn't have an age requirement before using it or creating a wallet. In traditional banking, however, one must be 16 or older to open an account, unless they have assistance from a guide who helped them do so. Additionally, no matter how young you are, no one can question you about how you make money because no one keeps an eye on your wallet.

Your involvement in the crypto space stays anonymous until you reveal it by yourself so how can anyone gonna know about it that is why it is impossible to keep an eye on one one wallet because all people have unique addresses here. It can also be a problem if one is underage because some exchanges ask you to do KYC if you want to use their services but if you are using decentralized exchange services then you are good to go.

I think one can also use their elder one identity like brother or father to do KYC on the exchanges if they are buying Bitcoin on the centralized exchanges but the best is to always use your own information in these kinds of things to avoid future problems. At the end of the day, you need to have a bank account to withdraw your Bitcoin into cash so that means you must be at least above 18 years old so you can enjoy all these things of the crypto environment.
222  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some Crypto investor beginners are acting professional impacting wrong knowledge on: March 31, 2024, 03:59:05 PM
<snip>

Flexing about such things you don't have is the worst thing in my point of view and on the same side providing guidance to others with the thing you don't have a grip on is the more worst step. These kinds of people should be avoided as they lose their funds along with those people who are getting guidance from them. I don't know what kind of satisfaction they get flexing on their insufficient knowledge although it is crystal clear that only one wrong step is needed to lose your funds in the crypto industry.

On the same hand, one right step is needed to gain profits in the crypto industry but survival matters more here rather than earning profit in the crypto Space. That's why this kind of person should not flex and provide guidance to other people until they have a strong grip on the field. But in my opinion, we should not take action on others saying in the crypto industry we should help DYOR on the projects we want to invest although we can use others' sayings as a part of reference.
223  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Wait for the right set-up on: March 29, 2024, 09:54:48 PM
People actually don't know how important it is to wait for the right set-up, some traders think that the more you trade the more money you make which is very much unlikely, trading doesn't work like that, you might make a lot of money from 5 to 7 trades, and use just only one trade to lose everything including your initial magin.

A really good concern Op you've indicated the more you trade the more you earn is not a fact, but an inner feeling we call greed, TBH on the trading field as Op mentioned the right set-up in my terminology I call it the right ball haha which is inspired from cricket, stand on the pitch and wait for the right ball to score a six, these six's make your portfolio 4x 10x and whatever you expect from them.

I'm not saying don't trade, trade to stick to the market wait for a good opportunity with your saved capital and then score a six. To score big you need to save yourself.
224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to the common man. on: March 29, 2024, 09:35:36 PM
OP to be honest, in the society where I live the person you are explaining, works hard to earn a living only, he doesn't dream of luxuries and in my view, he spends a peaceful night after eating a good meal, the only problem is he faces sometimes is the worries of earning for his family, they earn and eat they dont focus on the savings. Here I'm not going to mention the challenges and how struggling life they spend but I'm trying to explain in their point of view they dont need Bitcoin, actually Bitcoin is the source of attention for the middle class.

Bitcoin won't even help him a lot as well, because he cant invest enough money to jump from the lower class to the middle. At the same time when we are gonna compare the expenses of our life with them I mean middle with lower classes there's no match obviously.

The investment term is not for everyone because not everyone can afford to invest and take the risk of 2 meals, I think this is where our entire financial system lacks.

226  Economy / Economics / Re: If being a graduate is the key to being wealthy, why are there poor graduates? on: March 27, 2024, 05:44:24 PM
<snip>

ahh, who says getting degrees can make any person wealthy no it's a big lie as until we don't have skills that we can implement to make money we stay poor even if we have many degrees. let's say one person is doing Bs in Computer Science but he has no grip on any programming language so his degree is just a piece of paper for him until he is not learning at demanded programming language his degree will never return him any reward. I don't mean to say that we should not focus on only getting a degree but we should also focus on getting a grip on programming skills so that at the end of the day we can see the real value of the degree we have got.

Besides this Some also think that getting high grades will also help to make them successful person in life haha it is also a thing out of reality. well, Let's suppose one is getting high grades in education and one has a good grip on his skill what do you think which one is better? the one who has a good grip on skills so this is the best thing if we focus on getting a good grip along the degree we are doing. That's all.

227  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Quick way to learn bitcoin trading on: March 27, 2024, 05:37:56 PM
Hi is there a quick free beginner course to learn crypto trading anyone can recommend? (no scam we`ll make you money if you give us money links please)

I have a financial background so its not completely alien to me just looking for something to get started

Not sure replied before or not, but still here is a short glimpse of what I think about it,

Learning solely about the Bitcoin pair for trading in the crypto market is not sufficient, as on different time frames Bitcoin consolidates, and there's always the need for other specific pairs to trade for profit. Although most of the market pairs move with Bitcoin and ETH still we cant ignore the other currencies trading potential.
228  Economy / Economics / Re: Farming and it importance to the economy on: March 27, 2024, 05:26:10 PM
<snip>

Actually, the Agricultural field is the most important field that all countries have if they will focus on this field it will return high rewards at the end of the day. This field can fulfill the country's needs and also if the growth of the field is getting big then it will also return good rewards to the economy because if the country starts to trade the planted fields outside of the country then the country will generate a way good revenue. It is not just about generating good revenue it is also about generating opportunities for those people who are in search of opportunities. I have seen that people are getting visas for working in fields in abroad countries and they get paid a good amount.

So, the Agricultural field provides both things it can make a country's economy stronger and can also provide opportunities to those people who need them. Well, in some countries the scene of agriculture is really bad they can not grow this field on many bases some of them farmers are not getting the latest technologies that are the basic requirement of the current time and if it is available then it is highly costly that the average farmer can not afford so government should focus on providing cheap things to the farmer so that agricultural field can grow up easily.
229  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we should prioritize investment over saving on: March 26, 2024, 11:21:31 PM
<snip>

Although Savings is the best to play but the thing is that many of countries are suffering from inflation which in result our hardly saved amount also losing its value over the passage of time that is why we should also focus on making some investments. If luck goes in our favor we will see a good amount of profit in our accounts but if luck does not go in our favor we can lose our invested amount as well we should never ever invest our all the saved amount only at once because I already said if luck will not go in our favor we will lose all the saved amount we have.

The best solution is that we should invest some part of our saved amount and if we lose it we still have another part of our saved amount. The risk of losing all the funds at once will be reduced well the best thing to play before these kinds of actions one should keep in mind that risk management is the most important part to play safely.
230  Other / Off-topic / Re: Becoming productive without spending too much money. on: March 26, 2024, 11:14:33 PM
<snip>

Yes If we want to be more productive we have to give time to ourselves while learning Multi-Skills and this thing will make our worth, make poolish and groom us all we need is just focus on the self abilities i mean if we feel we can have to ability to learn multi skills we should start to learn it rather than wasting time on useless thing we should focus on learning skills and in the later time it will really worth us. Multi-skills will help us to survive easily in the race of life as we have multiple talents to fight against situations.

Well in my opinion, we need not invest much money in learning so many things as these days we can find easily so much desired and helpful material on social media like YouTube there we can find the Playlist of courses we want to learn we should make it cost-effective I mean if our problem can be solved throughout YouTube why should we give money to any institution to teach us? These days really want to focus not much money on learning skills, So dedicate your time to learning multiple things rather than wasting time on useless things what do you say about it?
231  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you feel when you earn merits in your post or replies. on: March 26, 2024, 10:50:17 PM
Haha.. firstly so many posts these days related to the merits... anyway..

....
So, friends  i will like to see how you felt at your first merits if you can make out time to share with me thanks.

Although we all have seen the starting journey on the Bitcointalk forum and no doubt the feeling of getting first merit ever is the best feeling which we can not compare with any other getting merits feeling I am not saying that getting other merits not feel good my mean of saing is that the first earned merits have the seperate feelings. On the same side, buddy do not overthink just write what you want to say some will like your point of view and some will not, and that's the fact you should only care about those who respect your words, your struggling phase. Just be yourself and try to do quality posting, which will help you grow further.

I also have seen members and one of my community members representing the same feeling of getting his first earned merit. These feelings motivate you to make more quality posts and make you active in discussions with unique and quality replies. In this way, your account health starts to go up slowly and slowly. There is a famous saying."Slow but steady wins the race" Just stay active and keep contributing to the forum with quality and informative content.
232  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A mistake you would surely regret on: March 26, 2024, 10:44:18 PM
Yes it's another bull run and everyone that invested in a scam project or lost money in the last bull run are already filled with FOMO and shouting to the moon for new projects they have no knowledge about, many Influencers are out again promoting new projects and promising huge returns and you can see a lot of persons in the Comment section following and wants to invest.

Don't let the green you see everywhere confuse you to forget the basis of investment, do your own research and don't follow the crowd that has no knowledge in what they are doing, don't let greed push you into looking for outrageous profits like 100x on new projects and you end up losing your money to scammers.

Avoid rapid investment or aggressive investment by putting money in every project available, take your time to research and make informed decisions, it's better to have only 5 good coins in your portfolio than to have a 100 shit coins there.

Lastly invest what you can afford to lose, or rather stake what you can afford to lose cause I know no matter the advice many read they woudl still invest in shit coins so stake what you can afford to lose.

Hmm, I think that this post should be in the altcoins section as you are taking and advising about the altcoin project which is newly launched in the marker. Anyway, In my humble opinion, and what I have learned from my own experience investing in newly launched projects is a kind of risky action we should invest in any altcoin project until we don't see them as a strong project on the basis of future value. Well, investing in any newly launched project which means just after the time when it is listed on any exchange is a big risk to the investment. We should wait to check the price fluctuation and once it gets listed in the future trading section as well which means the chances of coming amount volume will be high.

Then we can make entries in that project with the only amount we can bear in the condition we lose otherwise newly launched projects must be avoided in my opinion. Many of people believe that new projects have high demand in the current market and they also make big losses in terms of when the market crashes of that particular coin. I would say use my opinion as a reference point of view for at my experience. DYOR!
233  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you think merit is by chance or lengthy article? on: March 26, 2024, 10:27:44 PM
Initially, I was to think merit is by chance ( i.e something that will just happen) or lengthy article ( i.e writing too many paragraphs and the rest of them), but I have come to realize that, it is more than that.
I have being discouraged several times because of my numerous posts and replies yet no merit then. Even now, some times I use to be discourage. However, the only way to get merit is by posting quality article ( that is what determines merit) which almost everybody is aware of now.
In summary, don't look at the quantity of post you have make so far but instead try to adjust, I mean improve in your posts, above all be consistent and patient that is the key.

Yes Obviously the quantity of the post does not matter rather the quality of the post matters a lot let's say you have written 700 words of a lengthy words post but it does not contain any informative material, Helpful material, or Interactive material so it will be counted as the shit post. Just focus on your post quality and improve it as possible if the senior members find/feel your post interactive/helpful/informative they will obviously appreciate your posts. All that is possible only when you will start to contribute in the Discussion on the Forum keep in mind my one advice here for you is that reply the post with informative material in such a way nobody has contributed like you in the same thread before you are replying.

Then the chances of Getting appreciated by the member will increase for you. On the same side, don't be demotivated so early as I have seen so many people who have made a lot of posts but their merits are too much less the thing is they are still participating in the forum and they are still motivated. Just keep the focus on Quality, not Quantity.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to Research a Token/Coin on: March 26, 2024, 10:09:21 PM
What criteria do you look for when you research a token/crypto? And what tools do you use to do your investigation? Please provide as much details, examples, walk throughs, tutorial links as possible.

Like if you want to know what percentage of a token is being held for a few VC's, developers, initial investors, etc.? Or how do you monitor inflows and outflows over a period of time?

hmm, I check if the team is dedicated to the project or not i mean if i see the team is working actively on the project Ecosystem and collaborating with other strong ecosystem projects so it gives me the indication that the project can perform well in the coming time well we know that not every project have all the qualities we all want somehow they contain some cons as well but in my opinion, if the project ecosystem has strong use case which means the pros can overcome its cons then in my personal point of view project can perform well.

I do not use any tools I use Coingecko and CoinMarkerCap kind of sources for doing project research and if I feel the project can perform well in the coming days I put some amount in it that I can bear i the form of loss and if luck stays my sides then it makes me profit. Investing in any project is the very picky part that should be done after good research so invest in any project accordingly and always do risk management which is the most important point to keep in mind. DYOR!\

Hi there to all of you. I haven't been active on this forum  due to the demanding nature of my work as an interior decorator. However, recently, I've noticed that bitcoin is rising in value on the global market, and this has my interest in Bitcoin. I can see the registration of your account time well seems like Bitcoin's current price has really made you so you are here again after a long time. well, buddy welcome back to the forum again. 236  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: getting past break even on: March 25, 2024, 08:50:13 PM
If you use indicators, that means you have knowledge of trading. The question is, do you experience frequent profit trading in the field of crypto currency? Because in reality,
it's not really easy to trade to get a profit. That's not easy to do.

That's why the 50% rate of chances to gain in trading is difficult to achieve because the usual thing that happens is that the average is high and the community traders still lose.

Hmm, using indicators really refers to strong trading skills, I was unable to judge this physiology throughout my journey, anyway, thanks bro for this stance, in community trading I use this term for the TG communities who join the groups of any influencer and pay for the signals, this is the fact there only community influencer earns and the trader hehe so-called trader lose always for a short term he can make money by those signals at the end of the day they won't have a single penny in the wallet because in bullish momentum anyone can blindly make money.

Skills are tested under the pressure of the market, it's not like there is only a 50% of chance of wining a trade or losing, because if you consider so its not trading it just gambling. I can explain more on it if you want how and why?
237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Global wealth preservation" on: March 25, 2024, 12:50:23 PM
In what ways do the historical narratives and cultural perceptions surrounding gold as a traditional store of value intersect with the emerging narrative and evolving cultural perception of Bitcoin as a digital store of value, and how might these intersections shape the future landscape of global wealth preservation?

Thank you for sharing your insights and perspectives!

Haha, first of all, this advance thanks seems nice,

Moving to the topic, Historical narratives hmm, Gold was and will be the most attention-seeking store of value for traditional investors, most retail investors store money in such means and Bitcoin is still unfamiliar to them.

I know there's a mass adoption and education related to Bitcoin covered in this cycle but still, somewhere we are lacking as the street person is not convinced haha, at least in underdeveloped countries like mine. I know there's a huge number already familiar with Bitcoin but still, there is a massive number that is uncovered.
238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: bitcoin-qt very slow to sync on: March 25, 2024, 12:44:43 PM
_SNIP_

it's more likely possible that due to the limited number of peers paring the transmission is slow, there is also a possibility of a bandwidth issue with the peers, many other factors can affect speed as NotATether  mentioned your disk I/O also holds a significant role.
239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple Is biggest Enemy of Bitcoin on: March 25, 2024, 12:34:30 PM
This is the person https://twitter.com/chrislarsensf who spend more than 5M$ to attack bitcoin. Problem is he work for a multi billion $ company Ripple, Imagine if Ripple with billion of $ want to attack to btc.
You can at least go on that person's twitter and tell them what they deserve, link:  https://twitter.com/chrislarsensf

OP don't fantasize about the Billion's attack on Bitcoin when it's already trillions sike..

I don't think so a shit coin like XRP is worth it to be discussed with Bitcoin and how a shitcoin can be the enemy of Bitcoin I've experienced the timeline of the entire environmental anti-Bitcoin narrative backed by the XRP officials and at the same time the hate comments and controversies blah blah.

XRP was shit for me from the last Bull run haha, you can say that from the time when I realized the facts of the crypto market and Bitcoin, still I'm learning about Bitcoin, especially about its economic effects and growth potential. I would say ignore such shit.
