I'm happy to announce that we are releasing the new Asia Coin wallet today. Download: Instructions: 1. Close your old wallet (or delete it altogether). 2. Backup your wallet.dat file, just in case something goes wrong 3. Extract the new wallet into a folder 4. Hold Shift + Right click somewhere on the empty folder (not on file) 5. Choose "Open command window here" 6. Type the following command and press enter: Delete the old wallet binaries and dll files. You do not need to redownload the blockchain. This command will rescan your blockchain with your wallet addresses, and updates the database of the client. Once it is done (will take a few minutes), your new wallet will work as expected and your coins are valid, and your balance should be the same regardless of where your coins came from, except the original developer's wallet addresses which are invalidated. All other features of the wallet (staking, locking/unlocking, console) should work as expected. Note: Those who received the wallet privately for internal testing do not need to upgrade to this wallet. It is the exact same version. We have also set up an Asia Coin donations address, posted on the OP. If you are happy with what we are doing, you can give us some trust feedback too! Please let us know if you have any issues. Please send the word out to the community that the new wallet is out, and they need to upgrade as soon as possible to avoid risks.

Thanks to Maestro1 I got the new wallet working and my coins restored. Question though, it's all synced-up with the blockchain but still showing no staking since 5/1 Is that scheduled to resume at some point in the future? I saw the new staking schedule, and since I have a bunch of coins which should have staked in the past week, was wondering if/when that would happen. Staking should work already, if you unlocked your wallet. Did it start staking now? We have confirmation from a few members here that staking works fine in the new wallet.

Coins now: 171,000,000
Year 1, Month 1-2 : 100% Year 1, Month 3-4 : 80% Year 1, Month 5-6 : 60% Year 1, Month 7-8 : 40% Year 1, Month 8-10: 30% Year 1, Month 10-12: 20% - This is end of Year 1 Year 2, Month 1-2 : 15% Year 2, Month 3-4 : 10% Year 2, Month 5-6 : 8% Year 2, Month 7-8 : 6% Year 2, Month 8-10: 4% Year 2, Month 10-12: 3%
A few question regarding Stake-
1. How will Stake consider the age of the coins? When they were originally deposit into the wallet or the date of new wallet?
2. Also, first month's interest will be 8.33% and 6.66 % and 5% on top of the Staked amount for the next month and so on or will we get double the coins in 1 month?
3. Minimum age for Staking remains the same and what is it?
1. That's the date of their last transaction, so whenever they came to your address, regardless of wallet version. 2. The annual rate for the first two months is 100%, so that's 16.4% increase in the number of coins for the first two months. 3. Yes. It's 2 weeks. -- An all-new version of the OP with FAQ is coming tonight.

I have received word from CoinSwap that they have reviewed our patch, are happy with the progress, and have upgraded their wallets to our new version
Trades @ CoinSwap are active, deposits and withdrawals are on hold pending our recommendation.

I sent the new wallet to all who requested it, please have in mind: 1. This could be a beta, as exchanges may request further changes to the code once their review process is done. So please do not share it with anyone else. If someone asked you for it, forward them to this topic, and they can send a PM and I will send it to them. 2. Don't forget to give us your feedback

Hi friends I'm now going to send the new wallet to those who PM'ed me today. A number of Cryptomoms supporters are interested to donate to support your project by contributing DNotes, verses just BTC or AC which most likely they don't have. Would the AsiaCoin team want to add a DNotes deposit address for people to send their donations. It's your call.

Re: SAVING ASIACOIN - Your Support will be appreciated. « Reply #1 on: Today at 03:32:01 PM » Quote I'm going to look into AsiaCoin more this weekend when I have some time, but from what I have learned so far, I agree we should offer our support. The current team should not be punished for trying to right the wrongdoing of the previous developer. The new team has voided the 3 billion coins that he took and have started what looks like all the right steps to recover.
Could we set them up with a DNotes deposit address to help them out? I think it would be very beneficial to AsiaCoin if the rest of the cryptocurrency world could see that they had another community (DNotes) standing by them in support.
Many thanks for your support. Yes I will send a PM now.

How can coins be staking if all we have is the old wallet?
The old wallet could stake as well, by the way we shared the new wallet with a lot of active forum members privately, including yourself. Check your PMs.

How can you check if your wallet is staking? In the blackcoin-wallet you will see a icon lit up in the bottom-right corner.
I couldn't see the icon here, but when your wallet is staking, some of your coins (the portion that are mature to stake) will move from "Balance" into "Stake" (you can manually override the maximum amount of coins you allow to stake too, if you want to). If your Stake is 0.0 AC, it means that your coins are not mature enough to stake. Remember that AC needs 2 weeks for coins to mature, BC needs 8 hours.

im bored to ... how long is take this reviewing my coins frozen to :|:|:| i think they just Wasted the time They are just taking their time reviewing the code, something we encouraged them to do. Please be patient And don't forget that they benefit when it takes longer to give you you're AC back. Now cryptsy is staking there well filled wallet. After the mess they created with Dogecoin a couple of weeks ago i have never traded my coins there again. I realy don't trust cryptsy. When AC hit the Fan mintpal was open about it and you could withdraw you're coins as it should. Well, minimum staking age is two weeks, Cryptsy listed AC for the first time on April 25 and all ACs there are deposited after that. None of their deposited coins are yet mature for staking. Starting from today, coins that were deposited on April 25th and never withdrawn will be valid for staking.

What is wrong with Cryptsy? Why don't add AC? My coins are frozen there... They are reviewing the new wallet that we sent to them.

Is that correct?
Yes that's true. I updated the OP, and we explain how we are spending the donations on the OP as well.

Announcement:As we are getting closer to openning of the trades and public release of the fix, we need to work for the future. We need more volunteers for marketing in local languages, the ones that we specifically need help with (but not limited to) are: - India
- Japan
- China
- Hong Kong
- Middle-east
- Malaysia
- Thailand
- Taiwan
- Pakistan
- Korea
- Russia
or any other locations that I may have missed. It's ideal if you are also physically located in that location, but that's also ok if you're not. The aim is to use the *Asia Coin* brand name to heavily market and promote it in Asia, and in Asian communities outside of Asia. Please contact me if you are interested, we have excellent plans but we need each and every one of you to make them happen. Any successful coin is because of their community and the volunteery help that's around it. This doesn't mean that we don't want to promote it outside of Asia, exactly the opposite, but since we have a unique opportunity to capture Asian markets and our name provides a great advantage, we should not miss it. If you can speak ANY other language besides English and are happy to help us market and promote Asia Coin, please send me a PM. If you only speak English and want to help, we need you even more! so again, please send me a PM. --- P.S. I am going to privately send the wallet to more members here for testing If you also want it for private testing, send me a PM.
