*** side note *** This is not meant to de-rail the thread, but interesting. Will delete if requested. This is the same type Casascius coin that was attempted to be sold on the TV show Pawn Stars season 20 episode 7. It is not the literal same exact coin, just a yellow slab 0.5 silver "Error Holo" round, 1 of 45. The seller was a forum member here, Eodguy149. He made a thread about it here. The one discussed in the episode was an MS68 and he asked for for $215,000. Eodguy149 sated he picked a starting price at 10X face. BTC at the time was around $45K, so 4.5 BTC. Rick countered with BTC+silver spot face value and no deal was made. I'll let you read the thread and watch the video. A very cool item, can't wait to see how it goes here, maybe Rick will show up and make an offer with his forum account since he missed out in 2021. Geo Looks like the coin from the show is still funded https://www.walletexplorer.com/address/1AgsGYoi8xUd5GDo5cqavMQixgDDRfchb2?from_firstbits=1AgsGYoi

Fingers crossed that i receive my coin this week Ps, Those dice do look awesome!! Edit: The Challenge coin just arrived, and what a beautiful coin it is. The weight and thickness of this coin are off the charts, i haven't seen anything like it before, absolutely stunning. Thanks MJ (What is the weight of this coin? it maxed my little scales out)

54 Caribbean Treasures Thanks
raffle winner already selected. It never ceases to amaze me how many users do not read at least the previous few posts It was worse in the signature payment haydays, users were posting totally off topic crap a lot of the time just to fill their quota, good to see that is not as bad as it was years ago

Same as last time, since I already won one of these raffles, if my number comes up, just let it roll again. Only in this for the fun of it, it the raffle was to fill before rolling, my spot can be given away.

Other - I am less likely to purchase any loaded coins now. I am not going to sweep what I have, but would prefer to purchase only DIY coins in future. Buyer funded coins/collectables are not a good idea IMO, if the maker wanted to scam it lowers there original outlay.

Ive been thinking about this base card redemption promo and have a thought. I have opened a bunch of boxes and have come to the conclusion that certain base cards are definitely more scarce than others. For instance i have plenty of 1s and 28As but cant find a 1A or 28 to save my life. There are many cards i have about 10 of. Why send a full base set in and make the scarce cards even more scarce. Why not allow people to send in 62 cards of any number? Unless these scarce cards are still locked up in later cases? Can Jupiter confirm that the same number was produced for each card. If not i think sending in random cards would be better. People would send the ones they had the most of in turn making them more rare. Just a thought
I strongly agree. I have multiple base card sets that aren't complete because of 1A so I'm kind of stuck. I've pulled the same amount of base 1A cards as Meta rare gemstone refractors (2) 1A base seems ultra rare Hopefully there is a heap of 1A cards still in unopened boxes, there should have been a close to even amount of all base cards printed. I was thinking that maybe Cardsmiths could offer a few different “redemption” type rewards. For example you could get something for sending in a complete CS meta-rare set (since they were a mistake to begin with) And offer something awesome if anyone wants to trade in a complete base set, including all the MR holofoils and the 2 CF cards. There could be a reward for a holofoil set and a slightly better reward for a crystal sparkle base card sets (62 cards)

1A has to be the rarest base card, maybe all the extras are sitting in unsold boxes

Or ScamKey
Yogg should have just called them HotKeys from the start, he knew he had a file of the private keys to carry out a future scam. There was nothing cold about this scam

Same as above, I don’t but funded coins, and won’t be in the future after the CK fiasco, they should be renamed hotkeys Option #4 sounds the best, I would hate to see this thread die

81 - CoinageMint Good timing, I need some “Bitcoin Accepted Here” for my new shop, and the new laptop could use a couple.

16 total addresses there - probably other sets based on the amounts Yes no reason to ever keep keys after a project has been completed - zero reasons wtf this screws all of us makers in a way as it draws doubt on us all. Yup agree 100%.... not your keys, not your coins. But you preach this already Our "hobby" of loaded coins is inherently a bad idea and against everything bitcoin stands for!!! I know it sounds harsh, but that is the reality of it all.... Plenty of non-loaded/DIY/ awesome collectibles out there..... Agreed, not you keys not your coins, we have been telling each other that for years. This is an example of why I don’t purchase any loaded coins, or at least anything with a large value, I don’t even like buyer funded items where the pub/priv keys are already provided, stick with DIY or unloaded Unfortunately this is not the first time this has happened and may not be the last, scammers will scam!

One thing I love about the Kialara pieces is that it would be near impossible to fake a ruby by swapping out the balls inside a silver to red beads and passing it off as a 1/20 ruby, you would have to basically destroy the pieces replacing the balls I don’t think these are numbered, but you should be pretty safe knowing what you got is original as long as it’s not damaged I remember when Max released these, regret not buying one now.
Edit: Has anyone seen fake Kialara’s yet? I really hope they don’t pop up
They are numbered... hard to see, but it is there: Wow that is hard to see, thanks for the info

Thanks for posting, i think my KeepKey died during the last firmware update (frozen) so am currently looking for a new hardware wallet, i will check this one out
This wallet looks interesting (and I appreciate OP posting it, as I like to collect some of the more unique hardware wallets) but I would also recommend looking at Trezor and ColdCard wallets. They tend to get the most recognition for all the right reasons. Here’s a good write up on ColdCard- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5405919.msg60552395#msg60552395Thanks for the feedback. So far Trezor is at the top of my list and that is probably what I will end up going with. I still have some paper wallets that I printed out using my old Mycelium Entropy before regretfully selling it, facepalm. So have moved my few sats to them, still keeping my coins offline I did like the KeepKey at the start, but it was less desirable when the Chrome app was stopped and we were forced to use ShapeShift to access the wallet.
