221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN - BIGUP] BIGUP Life Ya'll - MOST SUCCESSFUL COIN LAUNCH IN YEARS!! on: March 16, 2016, 08:55:33 AM
What we have here is a bunch of malcontents that love to see others fail because it makes them feel good about themselves. Oh how they love to see people floundering in the sea drowning from the shore and never enter the water themselves to either take a risk or help those in need.

you obviously have not read the entire thread! many people have made and offered many different services and untill now the DEV refuses. the DEV also refuses to show accountability!
the Dev funds for bounties as stated throughout this thread have been moved or exchanged but he will not answer any defined question! and refuses to assist any future development/bounties or whatever.
he only comes here without any defined roadmap or plans and hypes BIGUP all over the pages  and does not even attempt to help this coin!

I have had no problem getting a response from the Developer. He has answered each and every reply since the ICO. Maybe if you stop ATTACKING him like they did on chat on the ICO he would respond. There is a group here that keeps trashing him and you want him to stay in the "room" where he gets nothing but hostile intent? Because of these behavior problems from those that are askew he talks to very few people. Now he is in the process of spreading this coin to as many exchanges as he can. He is now getting this listed on CCEX which appears that he is successful. This will be the third exchange. He has his own pace and wants to choose the direction of the creation of his own hands cautiously. Just because he doesn't sit when you tell him to "sit" doesn't make him a irresponsible or to what service does he do to the coin to just sit here answering the tons of "critics" comments all day? That action would actually accomplishing nothing but easing the discomfort for a few frantic minds. As you can see he is well aware that his comments "upset" some so he will continue to say "BIGUP" just to get a kick at irritating those that have been attacking him. Ask a question and nothing more and he does give an answer.

Gee not paying bounties for incomplete work or non-working apps......that's a crime. LOL

On the ICO site they "attacked" the Dev. everyday when he was there promoting his launch of BIGUP. Then they wonder why the DEV doesn't come running with open arms to communicate with others. LOL. I spoke with the DEV on chat on the ICO exchange and a lot of deranged beings where just vexing him at every opportunity. The coin has one of the best POS in the business. The point is after one year you double your holdings and with luck the price will increase.

Well said and than you for the support... BIGUP!!

Chat on YoBit has been mixed and naysayers are always part of any coin launch. The fact that BIGUP creates so much activity says a lot about how successful our efforts are becoming

The POS rate on BIGUP is a major contributor to it's potential success. The rate is rewarding enough to encourage staking but is not so high that it constantly floods the market with new coins resulting in massive 1 satoshi buy walls. BIGUP was designed for long-term success so there will not be a continuous flood of coins in the market

What they want to hear from you is that BIGUP is the best POS and how POS 2 is a benefit to coin holders. How BIGUP has a financial advantage over other coins. I remember talking to you on chat and what you stated and it was clear it has an advantage because of the POS 2. You need to get some good support (developers) to "pretty" up this coin.
So far I like the logo someone created with the arrows and stating that it is 100% in a year POS. It needs a selling point to the traders (POS2) and the techno geeks are all about the development and bounties. As far as the developers are a little twisted because they want an assurance that their work will be compensated and that the bounties will be paid out in full. This is a good first step.

The best part of all this BIGUP bashing is that after Bashing BIGUP some of these characters are telling the noobs to buy Karma @ 1 Sat. which has about 15 BTC for sale at 1 Sat. and BIGUP has not even .50 at 1 Sat. You can't make this $hit up. LOL
227  Bitcoin / Project Development / Bitcoin price manipulation on: January 03, 2015, 09:30:54 PM
As we all well know as miners that the cost of mining is increased. We provide a service and create the product we sell. I have a vast banking/investment back ground. This is not about me, it's about mining. Now that the shorters have brought Bitcoin price sub USD 300.00 a lot of miners effort will be wasted. I intend to do something about that. I need 67 serious miners and need their time and attention. I will need no money/BTC. I need pledges to follow instructions and I will make BTC go to the fare market value it is intended to be. Please email johnclarissa1@msn.com and I will provide details. Miners must ban together like the diamond industry does. Some might understand this some might not. I am free to explain.

Hi all,

Just found your pool. Nice work been mining here since 12/26. Seems all is well I like the keep it simple. Very easy to use. I like the anti-hopper 500%. It was frustrating at other pools to be on for 10 hours then watch 1000th show up at 80% of the block done.

Regards,

JRu

Huh Huh "... 80% of the block done." What's that mean Huh

That means when your mining and the block is 80% solved someone jumps in with 1000TH and receives the benefit as if they mined the whole block.

Hi all, Just a question, how many believe that the miners who actually produce the Bitcoin used on the open market, should have a heavier influence on the worth of a Bitcoin? After all it is manufacturered by a machine (miner) and miners bare the brunt of the cost to manufacture/create a Bitcoin. I personally feel that since Bitcoin is traded that the speculators have way too much Wall St. like power over the price of Bitcoin. On some exchanges traders have sold coin from one wallet to another below cost in order to drive down price and take advantage of those miners looking to pay the expenses of mining. I believe I have away that will only need cooperation of miners and will not cost any miner anything.

I am not seeing shares increments but i see accepts on the miner.  could there be a problem with slush now ?
I noticed that to the workers stats seem to be frozen. The average hashrate hasn't moved at all even between blocks and neither has the shares.
234  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: New mining bitcoin mining pool for upcoming affiliate network.. Paying 10% bonus on: July 30, 2014, 01:16:44 AM
I am on the pool since Sunday. I like the dashboard, I have no problems getting in or connecting my miners. I like that I recieve emails if my miner is idle, log in attempts, blocks and etc. This is a really good miner interface. The only thing is that the hash rate needs to be increased.
235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US Marshall's Bitcoin Auction Results on: June 29, 2014, 10:26:59 AM
So what do you think about those numbers? Isn't safe to assume that half of the Bitcoins have been purchased at market price i.e. $600 and the other half at much lower price? 42 bidders is a very small number. I would guess that the other half have been acquired at <$500 and inevitably will be sold on Monday to the market driving the price below $500...

Any thoughts?

Have you ever seen an auction where they opened below market value? We are talking 40,000 plus BTC. The auction is probably is conducted by a private company on behalf of the fed. 42 people entered 186 bids that means 42 people increased the total that they would pay 186 times. Even if they started below market value (which any auction company wouldn't)  the price has to be above market value. How would the auctioneer decide which price to start at? He has no choice but to start at market value. Plus try buying 42,000 BTC on the market and see what would happen to BTC price. The fact is you couldn't get this amount of BTC in one shot anywhere. If the Auction is a sign of "demand" for bitcoin and people are willing to pay 18 million then the price will reflect that alone.

Now that's a lot of hashpower. 12 blocks and still going.
237  Bitcoin / Mining support / Hash rate from one worker only showing at half speed. on: May 22, 2014, 02:50:47 AM
One of my workers is at half speed. I checked my worker status and it is fine. I restarted CG miner just to make sure and only show half of the shares that I should have. Is it a pool reporting glich?

I am a newbie...if you can call someone 50 years old a newbie Cheesy. So far I have been mining for about one month and have made 1/3 of my initial investment.
This can be profitable but has become my new hobby as well. I am formerly a "banker" by trade and I am adding a new Antminer to my growing farm. Have you guys seen the prices for the cloud hashing from Cointerra 10TH between 37K and 50K a year...Why would you do that? 10 Antminers would cost after coupons $19,600.00. Even if you have your miners hosted the total would be 37K a year. Then at least you could sell your equipment at a later date. Why would you contract hash?
