222  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: Hot Coins on: August 25, 2014, 10:37:09 PM

Smiley
223  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: Hot Coins on: August 25, 2014, 10:08:27 PM

Is the difficulty low enough for me to solo with 500GB? Or should I just pool mine?

Pool is better for 500GB, solo you have very little chance with the plot size.

Cheesy

I buyed my coins for a fast profit but your work looks solid. So I'll keep my coins.

Your must generate with more Systems. I used 6 Systems and 3 VMs to generate 24TB and need more than 1 week.  8 Cores is to slow for 34TB and Raid 0 has no effekt, better your make a jbod if the system can read fast enough.

Volumen * 0.024% = read requirements

The coins are safed in the blockchain but your need you private key/passphrase.

Better wasted space usage as high electricity costs.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient POC Mining | Update to 1.0.2 before block 2700 on: August 25, 2014, 01:01:27 PM
At the current price it puts the market cap of this coin at around 50 BTC, now think about that for a second, the most innovative coin in recent memory is sitting at a market cap of $25 000.

- the coin "cap" of this coin is 50'000'000 now and will be 100'000'000 in 13 days.

So someone needed to put ~$2'000 into this coin every day only to retain current price.

This coin brings the innovation in mining, but what it brings to customer? Nothing new. So who would pay $2'000 daily?

You can say the same about every minable coin  Smiley

- no, some of them at least claim that they bring to users (=buyers of coin) new level of security or anonymity, or some speed, or some fun..  But nothing new here.  There is even no data storage for users:

The Coin is new, the most Coins starts with nothing. It need Time for development to implement new features. I hope burstdev will add new features, because only that will decide whether burst a success.
The comunity is very active and the coin is innovative. That is in itself a healthy basis.

The difficulty increases massively, the coin is new and in the first week had many user problems with the technique. That is why the early miner found many blocks. Even if electricity costs are lower than the GPU mining, there is no reason to dump. All had more of them if they would wait and not fill the buy order. Smiley

Btw, Burst need a Homepage und more PR. I think the Community can help or donate.

But all the big miner keep their coins, show an the wallets. I think this are the smaller miner that  sell their coins to cheap.
Check out the wallets of the larger miner, the most have not sold any coins.

Really good work.

This is my tip to trustless wallet users:

-Hold 500 Super in the wallet
-Create minimum 2 Super address
and wait anytime you can play mixer in network and be paid... easy SuperSend fee!

The fee is based on the transfered coins?
So it would be better to set up several wallets?

Currently %1 or minimum 0.5 Super fee will be collected from each SuperSend. It's randomly pickup. So more wallet online means more chance to hit. And more online Super Node means powerful network and more investors...

Good, I have 80k I will test it once with 3-4 Wallets.

238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SCAM ALERT! SOME WILL BE A SHOCK! USECOIN! BURSTCOIN! CRYPTI! on: August 25, 2014, 05:42:16 AM
You are the Scammer. Reported to moderator.

Just a heads up everyone, someone is trying to extort money from me and using my design work here with Burst as reference for extortion. This person has some hidden agenda and seems to think that I'm the creator/developer behind Burst, not sure why, but most likely due to my contribution to the source code : https://github.com/BurstProject/burstcoin/pull/1, expect some FUD to appear in this thread soon.

This is the origin of all the FUD that has been posted in the last few pages. It now seems that either this extortionist wants to damage the coins I'm invested in, or my reputation.

The reason for this is most likely because of the recent SilkCoin incident, where our lead developer dumped the pre-mine and ran away with the funds. Now for those of you who never heard of SilkCoin we had established a community team, of which I was the first member. Once the lead developer dumped the pre-mine the community naturally started pointing fingers at us, and in turn since I was the first member of the team and the closest in contact with the developer prior to the incident, people then used me as a scapegoat.

This person posting all this FUD is most likely someone who lost money in SilkCoin and is trying to put the blame on me for it. If anyone wants to check my credibility as a designer, they are welcome to ask the BlackCoin community, where I've been paid to work on most of their projects over the course of the last 2 months. If anyone of you would like to see the extent of the work I did for them, just let me know and I will post all of it.

As for the Duff-Man accusations, the only thing I see similar in our designs is that we both use a "Flat-styled" design which is basically a vibrant color palette and no use of shadows, which is the most popular type/area of design currently for example : https://dribbble.com/search?q=Flat+Design

This person believes that all coins I invest or contribute to are "scams" and apparently according to "IKnowYou's" logic I am also now the developer behind both Burst and Crypti (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=654463.0). Anyone thinking normally would know that this is quite a laughable accusation.

Can we reduce block reward or max coins?

Block halving to reduce the max amount its a good idea.
For example, with a halving by 10000, 20000, 40000 blocks the value of the coins could be increased.
