if you will fork it directly from DigitalNote repository it will be good for you to keep updates. By the way do you have just a single new feature in your coin?

|
This is not a Notice. And why not direct fork from DigitalNote?
|
|
|
There gonna be lots of XDN forks in future, just because of messages feature. By the way we are working on such an upgrade of this feature with new possibilities of messages not included in blockchain, messages with self destruction timer. Also we will present new XDN messages API soon, probably on upcoming XDN birthday _0<

Nice to see, but folks should mention XDN and it is good if they will implement some new features, but not just fork it.

mhh, whats up. improved wallet and steady development. but the price is going down and down.
i bought some (only for 0.1btc) coin more.
All XDN dev team resources now are working on PoA and further improvements. That prices made by market, cheaper XDN more chances to buy it cheap. This is not speculation cryptocurrency, but cryptocurrency for real use with real life features. Time will show, one momentum can change everything. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Hello, Happy to announce new version of DigitalNote XDN GUI wallet with some improvements and fixed. https://github.com/xdn-project/digitalnotewallet/commit/d2d28be932004293ff2a09be9342ff0c2a2a4e6fWill upload binaries in next few hours, here are some improvements: 1. Fee counter for messages and tx comments. Default XDN transaction fee = 0.001. Cost of 1 message character = 0.01 XDN. 2. Payment ID validation 3. Transaction sending improvements 4. Address book validation 5. Display fee for deposits

I can vouch for the deposits. I have used the deposit 5 times using 100k 4 times and 250k this last time and wallet has worked flawlessly.
@Dev I am curious about an unconfirmed issue I am having. I have 200,686 xdn that have remained unconfirmed and I think those may be coming back from deposits..not sure.
Is there a "check/repair wallet" function that I can utilize?
Thanks, john
Try export-import private key in text format and resync your wallet. That should help.

XDN is a proof of work coin. After digitalnote stage we have XDN blockchain deposits (banking).
You can "lock" your XDN and get it back with interest after "unlock".
E.G. With DigitalNote wallet you can "lock" 100 000 XDN for the period of 22000 blocks (~2 month) and get 100000.00000000 XDN + 125.00000000 XDN after unlock.
When PoA will be implemented deposits will act as a PoS part.
XDN deposits is the very first step before PoA.
PoA will be introduced after everything will be done and well tested. That will be a major event and XDN will become the most secure blockchain in the entire World.
What is PoA? PoA is a Proof of activity - Hybrid of Proof Of Work and Proof Of Stake

Synereo is a very interesting project. I like the idea of Attention Economy Model. How will you handle ETH and Bitcoin privacy issues? Will you consider using privacy protected blockchain with your project? Please, check DigitalNote XDN project. http://digitalnote.orgP.S. We are working on Proof of activity. Which privacy issues are you thinking of? Synereo tech is blockchain agnostic. We will use an existing one for the Beta, and then move to a better one. BTC and ETH blockchains are not privacy protected. Still not sure of what you are thinking of in particular. Which info do you think should be public, and which info do you think should remain private? Do you think context matters? With BTC anyone can view your wallet balance and balance history and trace all your transactions. With XDN your data is absolutely private until you want to share or show your keys. If anyone can see your balance it can be used as a filter for your Attention Economy Model. I can see weak point here. I think personal information should stay private if you want that.

BTC and ETH blockchains are not privacy protected. XDN is a good blockchain. Privacy is an important issue. The biggest problem of all is going to be transaction fees. If millions of people start doing 100 little things a day such as liking a photo, the fees will be too much. They need their own blockchain with $AMP as the main blockchain coin. XDN blockchain is Very scalable and actually there are no limits there. XDN has no blockchain dust due to block rewards structure, so blockchain is very lightweight. ASIC resistance and few blockchain features, like encrypted messages and blockchain banking deposits. After PoA release we will look further to smart contracts. But why fee for liking photo?

Is it possible to add Coin Control to the wallet?
Very useful feature, will add to task list, but not with high priority. We are working on PoA now. That is the highest priority. Although we will release new version of digitalnotewallet GUI with minor bug fixes and improvements in few weeks.

hey dnote, i sent some xdn from my wallet, but it looks like it wasnt synced (there was warning that last block was found 400 hours ago) now this tx is shown with "?" in the wallet with 0 confirmations will it go somewhere (forward or back) ?
upd: i've installed 1.0.6., resynced and did succesful tx - but previous one is in '?' state any chance to have coins back?
Hi, export-import you private text key (receive tab-> show private key) to new wallet (File->import private key; Paste your key and type new wallet path) and resync it.

really. why should xdn be more secure than https://ricochet.im?and unfortunately still not synching. 1. Even the fact of message sending is unknown with XDN 2. Strongest encryption. Only recipient can decrypt his message with his private key (by the way we will introduce new encryption option in next XDN releases to provide crypto "channels" interface.) 3. Messages route is unknown 4. Messages are stored in blockchain so recipient can decrypt it and read it after ages 5. You can send "tokens of value" with your messages ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Secure, Private, Untraceable, Ready for long term information storage, And yes, its Instant. ABout Sync issue: We have a minor issue with DNS resolve, we will solve it ASAP It would be good if you will try not to keep it running, but restart it and wait for about 2-3 min, try to make it few times, it may help. my wallet synched today. i hope this will stay like that. and i am going to test the message speed again soon to convince others to use xdn. although the mobile version is still missing. Good. We are working on API with all XDN features support for mobile developers.
