After being asked whether or not the OneStringMiner boards run on p2pool, I have set up a 13 board tower and connected it to p2pool:



These are boards without a heat sink, so they do much better than the advertised 25+ GH/s.
But, we don't want to promise too much, so we keep on selling them as 25+ GH/s and you will probably get a faster board.

At first I was wondering about the high rejects, but this is normal for p2pool.
As far as I understand it, there is a short time span in which the pool requests to restart work and the miners haven't restarted yet.
If a share is found in that short time span, it is send to the pool and obviously the pool rejects it.

I haven't adjusted the price of the DIY1 or DIY2 yet.
They come with a heat sink and our stock is very low on both heat sinks.
A second batch of heat sinks has been delayed, expected in two weeks.

And like I said before in this thread, it's impossible to compete on price for an OEM.
If you have your own ASIC design, you will always win on price.

No, the heat sink is anodised.

OK, I mentioned before that bfgminer was not working correctly.
I still have to figure out why bfgminer and the OneStringMiner boards don't like each other.

Increase the voltage to 12V and see if it improves.
It's very strange that peon shows a lower GH/s than the pool, most of the time it's the other way around. And difference like this is extreme and likely something is wrong on the software side.
Which version of minepeon are you using ? (I am using 0.2.4.4)
Did you overclock the Raspberry ? (I didn't).
Are you using bfgminer ?

Heb je de Avalon al gereset ? Het is een klein knopje op het I/O board.
Avalon uitzetten, na vijf seconden weer aanzetten, wachten tot blauwe ledje aangaat en dan 5 seconden reset ingedrukt houden (als ik me goed herinner).
Dan staat de Avalon op 192.168.0.100 en kan je er bij (als ik tenminste niks kapot is).

Ik heb eventueel wel wat onderdelen van een Avalon 1 beschikbaar.

We lowered the prices(~12%) due to the coming difficulty change, a modest one
All orders of yesterday also got these lower prices.
We didn't think of the lower shipping cost when shipping more than one, and also less additional items are needed, so we added the price for 2 and 3 DIY0 sets to our pricelist, and calculated the advantage for you when ordering more than one at the same time.
A similar advantage applies to the DIY1 and DIY2 sets. But given the limited available for now, we kept those prices off the list.

I am running them with minepeon on a Raspberry.

cgminer -o POOL -u USER -p PWD is what i use.
POOL, USER and PWD needs to be replaced.

There are compiled cgminers available, but if you want to compile yourself it's doable.
Your "bat" question makes me think you want to compile on Windows. Do a search on Google and you'll find more info.
Likewise for other operating systems.

You need a Raspberry running Minepeon or standard Raspberry running cgminer,
or a PC running Ubuntu/Windows and cgminer,
or a Mac running Mac OSX and cgminer.

Windows will need the Zadig driver. A trustworthy location to download it from is: http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/zadig/

The OneStringMiner board does not run full capacity with bfgminer, I still have to figure out why, but lack of time ....

You will not need the power cable or the serial interconnect cable with only one board.
They are included just in case you'll want to run more boards in the future

Al zolang ik met bitcoins bezig ben (zomer 2011) zie ik steeds dezelfde opmerking bij hardware verkoop.
Realiseer je dat we hier in NL 21% BTW moeten rekenen, en het is niet alleen een boardje, maar ook een kwaliteitsfan (€9), speciaal gemaakte kabeltjes (€2), USB kabel(€2) en zo voort. En dan vergeet ik de transportkosten nog.

Toch heb je me geholpen, want ik realiseer me dat de prijs van 2 DIY0 setjes niet gelijk is aan 2x€242.
Ik ga dus een nieuwe prijslijst maken.

Tevens gaat de difficulty binnen een dag met ~12% omhoog, dus verlagen wij per direct de prijzen met 12%.
Orders die gisteren zijn geplaatst hebben deze lagere prijs al berekend gekregen.

DIY0:
Het OneStringMiner board is gebaseerd op het ontwerp van Intron en C-scape, twee zeer bekende Bitcoin mining board ontwerpers.
De OSM is gebaseerd op Bitfury chips, elk board bevat 15 chips.
Elk board doet tussen de 25 GH/s(zonder heat sink) en 35GH/s(met heat sink en overvolting).
Elk board gebruikt een enkele 12V voeding en gebruikt ~25W.
Twee PCIe stroom aansluitingen, 2x2 schroef terminal aansluitingen en 1 barrel jack aansluiting is beschikbaar per board voor voeding.
Een enkele 520W ATX power supply kan stroom leveren aan 16 boards.

Een DIY0 set bevat de volgende items om te starten met je mining gear setup.
