Hello GeoCoin believers, Our aim is to add value to the whole crypto community by giving the best user experience to analyse cryptocurrencies. It would be really great help from your side if you can spend 60 seconds of your time and give us your valuable feedback for our two recent updates 1) Snapshot and 2) Colourful interface of GeoCoin at: https://cointopper.com/coin/geocoinConstructive criticisms are always welcome at CoinTopper. Thank you!! Hey there! Thanks for the heads up! I've just had a look over the listing and things are looking pretty good! Here are a few suggestions to help improve upon it. 1. Please use our official GeoCoin logo. A high resolution copy can be found here: http://geo.money/images/stories/geocoin-icon.png2. Please change the website link to point to our main promotional site: http://geo.money/3. The current link to the explorer is out of date, please change it to: https://ubiqscan.io/contract/0x500684ce0d4f04abedff3e54fcf8acc5e6cfc4bd4. Please remove the Telegram link as that is not an official channel. 5. We use the Ubiq Community Discord instead of Telegram, please add Discord: https://discordapp.com/invite/HF6vEGF6. Please remove the link to github as that is out of date, and points to the original POW wallet/blockchain which is now considered developer abandoned. Cheers!

is there a way to export the priv key of the fusion wallet?
should be the savest way to store my geo
The private keys are stored within your Ubiq AppData folder. The easiest way to get there is to go File > Backup > Accounts and grab a copy of your Keystore files. These keystore files are encrypted with your Fusion password.

I send 1 geo to my ubiq fusion wallet and it shows up at the blockexplorer but not in fusion wallet itself. What do I have to do to get it listed there?
THX
Hey meyer, it sounds to me like the transfer was successful and you simply need to add the Token definition to your Fusion wallet. Try the following steps and let me know if it shows up for you. 1. Open up Fusion, sync the blockchain 2. Click on Contracts > Watch Token 3. Under Token Contract Address add: 0x500684ce0d4f04abedff3e54fcf8acc5e6cfc4bd 4. The rest should auto-populate as GeoCoin, GEO and 8 decimals, click OK. Hope that helps!

Thanks again for the additional info. I'll be sure to chat with some of the UBQ devs once they get through the first UIP vote currently taking place. This weekend we had some great success adding in some concurrency controls and near real-time updates for dropped GeoCoin locations. This is a great improvement which dynamically displays the locations of new coins and removes other's that get picked up by the in-game users! https://twitter.com/geo_coin/status/1006224738669084677

Thanks for the detailed information! I am interested in the Upbit exchange you mentioned as they have already listed Ubiq. Maybe I can chat with some of the UBQ devs to see if they have any contacts with that exchange to help along the application process. I agree having more exposure and exchanges will be helpful for the GeoCoin project. Once we get the MapBox interface up and running that will hopefully draw even more attention to the project which could further help applying for additional exchanges. Still unsure if we'll ever get listed at Binance, but I think I'll hold off on applying to them at this stage until we have our MapBox interface up and running.
If anyone else is the community has any suggestions for trustworthy/reliable exchanges please let us know here, thanks!

I have reached out to the Einstein Exchange in the past but never heard back from them. I'm not sure what the listing requirements for Binance would be, but you likely need to pay a hefty bribe. I agree I'm very happy that we are available on Bittrex and that is an amazing exchange.

Last news are very good. It is good that GEO was added to new market. I looked Bisq here https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/bisq/And can't find there Ubiq and its tokens in their list. Also whole Bisq have a daily volume less than 1 BTC... What about adding Geo to new big markets? Or it will remain forever Bittrex coin? Also nice to hear that you one step closer to release app. Thanks for great job! You can find mention of GeoCoin as well as Ubiq, Qwark and 10grans listed under the Assets section of their latest release: https://github.com/bisq-network/bisq-desktop/releasesI updated the exchanges list at the very bottom of our info website http://geo.money to include all 5 choices so far. What other exchanges do you guys think we should aim for?

We had a busy long weekend but are happy to announce we had some significant success. We were able to get the database backend migrated successfully yesterday. This week we will continue migrating over the web environment. Still lots to $GEO but progress always feels great! https://twitter.com/geo_coin/status/998975397210419200

Currently investigating some new hosting options for our GeoCashing site. This will allow us greater security and help us integrate the wallet backend with the assistance of the KryptoTech team. As a result this migration process can potentially cause some connectivity issues, so I just wanted to let you all know here. This is a big step towards reopening the wallet withdrawals for those users who have been extremely patient over the years. https://twitter.com/geo_coin/status/996113692398833664We appreciate thanks. May we have an estimated time for PoL activation/MapBox product release? Like "from 3 to 6 months" or something like that. Our first priority is getting the wallet backend configured for use on the Ubiq Network. We have not worked out any potential timeline as of yet with KryptoTech as we're in the process of migrating our hosting environment. Once we have the wallet backend setup, we will reopen the withdrawals for users who's GEO have been frozen during the development process. Once that is complete, we will continue the remainder of the new MapBox interface. Some remaining items include concurrency controls, Proof of Location and hardening it off for our release. I personally would like to have it released within the next 3 to 6 months if possible, but I cannot guarantee any release date. GeoCoin is an ongoing project and we continue to push through the development phase and deliver when the technology is ready.

so essentially all the people that are buying on yobit are buying useless coins right?
Exactly. It's Yobit, anyway. The people that are buying on Yobit are buying the original blockchain which is developer abandoned and not supported on the Ubiq Network. They will not be able to transfer to Bittrex or Cryptopia, and also will not be able to make a manual swap claim. What they choose to do with them is entirely up to them.
