222  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to buy btc at market price on: January 18, 2015, 12:11:00 PM
I have been buying  from localbitcoins.com but the price of the seller's are always higher than market , sometimes they are unbelievably high.
Where shall i buy ?? Huh
what if there is a dip just like last week and i want to buy a load but then again it's no use to me , i will still get it at high
i can buy with cash or bank deposit (TD,BMO) ,e-transfer , all in canada or in India but the prices are just damn high.
i think coinbase.com provides the btc at current price , am not sure please tell me , but it doesn't have it for India as of yet , but maybe for Canada i think.
what about those ATM's in vancouver , Canada , never visited one . do they give the current price or something different.

Any answers on these would be helpful
Please let me know if i posted in wrong section.

You should register for an account at sites like bitstamp or bitfinex. It will allow you to buy and sell at the market price.
223  Other / Archival / Re: What would a Sr.Member with positive trust sell for? on: January 18, 2015, 11:59:53 AM
Really? That is quite insane. Is this even allowed?
Yes its allowed, but not right as these positive trust accounts can take part in scams.

225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin friendly banks? on: January 18, 2015, 11:54:27 AM
I agree with many people here that you should never share any info about your Bitcoin activity with your bank.
They simply can't be trusted.

They actually go about banning accounts at times if they find out you are involved with bitcoins and transactions involing it.
226  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling coin logo template psd on: January 18, 2015, 11:50:20 AM
price reduced
You do realize, people can take that logo as well and just place their coin symbole inside the black area
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have a problem with the Bitcoin transaction...coins disappear! on: January 18, 2015, 11:48:34 AM
I followed your first thread, about unconfirmed tx...
You used an unconfirmed tx output from that tx as a input to this transaction. As first tx got dropped after 2 days, so is the second.
DO you mean like a double spend ?
228  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or stockmarket? on: January 18, 2015, 11:46:21 AM

I would say it's Stockmarket for sure

At the current price it might be bitcoin. But even stockmarket has been seeing swings lately.

Are these the same people making multiple sites with the same ponzis, or are these separate people trying to get rick quick ?
232  Economy / Gambling / Re: Pandacoin Football & Basketball Tips on: January 18, 2015, 10:52:46 AM
Tonight's NBA bets:
Memphis - Portland (2,5) 1
Sacramento (8,5) - LA Clippers 2

How much do you recommend betting on that 1 or 2 units mentioned in the bet ?
And is the W-L all 1 units ?
233  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin/alts adoption/infrasture the next bubble? on: January 18, 2015, 10:14:37 AM
I don't think the usage or the infrastructure will be the bubble to pop.
The one think might be the adoption, as people would be too scared of the volatility.
234  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 18, 2015, 10:11:23 AM
sucker rally.

It's too early to tell, wait and see where it corrects. A bull market also starts with pumps, but this one does look artificial to me.

I don't think an artificial pump , would get people to put in buy orders as the price is too volatile at the time and over 200 might not be the best buying time for now.
235  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Real Reason Of Bitcoin’s Descent, Revealed on: January 18, 2015, 10:08:42 AM
The price of Bitcoin sure has been hit hard, and the ripple effect has already blown up across the community. With an ever-faster growing community of people fascinated by the technology, why has the price shown otherwise? Users are grumbling and complaining waiting for the price to rise to what it was, but they aren’t taking the step back to think about the factors that pushed the price back down.

http://www.btcfeed.net/speculation/real-reason-bitcoins-descent-revealed/

One of the best articles I have read in awhile.

No, it is manipulation of exchanges. Some exchanges just want to "get rich quick".

When the majority of retail investors go long, exchanges with insider information will go short and trigger margin calls.

When the majority of retail investors go short, exchanges with insider information will go long and trigger short squeeze.

I guarantee you they are doing this and they are the real whales.

That makes a lot of sense too . I certainly think exchanges have the best advanatge and can manipulate the prices in a crazy way.
They also have the information regarding any whales wanting to buy in or buy out.
236  Economy / Speculation / Re: 3600 ... coins on: January 18, 2015, 10:06:25 AM
Which part of '3600 coins per day' do you not understand?
Bitcoin is still in socialist distribution phase for the next 5 years. So why on earth do you try to pump it? Are you monkeys or what's your problem?

next 5 years, do you know that in 2016 an halving is incoming?

1800 will be produced

WOuld be interesting to see what happens to the price then

Not sure if the argument of op would apply to the price then.
237  Economy / Speculation / Re: Let’s All Admit that the Bitcoin Price Bubble Has Popped on: January 18, 2015, 10:04:15 AM
It's the first time that price went below the high of the previous cycle.

It's done that before. What about back in 2011 when it went from $15-$30 and then down to $3?

It went from cents to $32, to $2. What happened after didn't create a new high or low until $266.

32 was wave 1
266 was wave 3
1200 was wave 5

everything in-between were sub-waves.
Is the current wave 7? Or do you think it is yet to come ?

240  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it possible that 1 BTC be worth $2,000 by the end of 2015? on: January 17, 2015, 08:38:40 PM
I thin we could easily hit £20000 by then because of all the publicity since Christmas.

THat seems to be a very pessimistic target Tongue
