221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not FOMO on newly listed altcoins on Binance on: March 01, 2020, 05:59:05 PM
To be listed in binance is an achievement for a cryptocurrency project, a junk project will not make it.

The price issue is different, and a good project does not rule out the possibility of being undervalued by the market.
You decide where your money is diverted, if you experience a loss, it is not the fault of the project where you invested your money but your responsibility.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NOW the time to get into Ethereum ? on: February 29, 2020, 06:25:35 PM
With the ethereum 2.0 I'm sure the price of ethereum would increase. Ethereum is a potential altcoin so this is good time to buy altcoin and hold for that event or just hold for long term.
I am not sure that for now, Ether is a potential coin because Ether is old enough, and it should be able to show its potential now. The development of Ether prices has always followed Bitcoin, nothing special.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BOUNTY PAYMENT MATTERS on: February 29, 2020, 05:55:44 PM
Your idea is good, but if we look at it from the perspective of the project owner, of course, it is very detrimental because they have to pay the campaign manager too. The use of escrow for bounty payments, in my opinion, is appropriate to prevent garbage campaigns. The price issue is another matter.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Celebrities advertise scam ICO again on: February 29, 2020, 12:22:22 PM
This is a big one, he is one of my favorite actor but I would not fall for this kind of advertisement, one celebrity I know that fined for endorsing ICO was Floyd Mayweather, I am not sure why they can't learn.  Hey OP, would you care you put a source of that information here?
I am not the maker of this thread, but I read news about Steve Seagal from the New York Times, you can also read it at the following link https://www.nytimes.com/2020/02/27/movies/steven-seagal-bitcoiin2gen.html

Steven charged with negligence for not disclosing how much money he received from the cooperation he did with a cryptocurrency project.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WINNING THE GAME AGAINST BAD PROJECTS on: February 28, 2020, 06:14:01 PM
Also bounty campaign participants could affect the market as well even though the bounty pool was really low.
All token holders can, of course, affect prices in the market but we must pay attention to how much influence on prices, the allocation of bounty participants is only around 3-5 percent of the total supply, it is influential but not significant as long as the project team can manage demand, the problem is the difficulty of creating demand for new projects.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Celebrities advertise scam ICO again on: February 28, 2020, 01:37:29 PM
do you think celebrities know that they advertise scam projects or they just don’t understand what they are doing? I think this is a big problem for the market
I don't think celebrities would care if the project they were promoting would commit fraud; they were too busy to understand the concept of the project they were advertising.

Only trust advertisements from someone who is an expert in the field he is promoting.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safe Campaigns in the Altcoin sections to join. Dont waste your time with others on: February 28, 2020, 03:28:31 AM
I am grateful that Sheng is included in the list of projects that you suggest. I feel optimistic about the project that I am promoting.

Geoma DAO is also one of the good projects, but for other projects that I have not yet mentioned, I cannot guarantee the quality because I have not analyzed them.

However, we will not know the response from the market and the actions to be taken by the project leader, always preparing for the worst.

229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is that real TRON has bought Steemit. on: February 17, 2020, 09:20:17 AM
I have heard of this rumor and Tron is good in having this kind of strategy, acquiring of other coins and business. Where can we get an official announcement or if there's already an official statement regarding this rumor?

Just put the link here so that we will know if this truly happened.
The acquisition of steemit by Tron is official. The CEO made an official announcement of Tron on his Twitter account, you can read on the following link https://twitter.com/justinsuntron/status/1228725665282674690
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Okay. What is the main factor that boosts Altcoin value? Popularity or Tech? on: February 16, 2020, 06:46:29 PM
Not enough with just the development and technology improvements alone, it would be pointless without being accompanied by clear marketing, such as listings in a large exchange and adding marketcap to the coin itself, many of the project coins die for just thinking Development Course
Projects that are already well known for their popularity must be supported by the development of their product technology.
On the contrary, if a project focuses on developing the technology of their products only, it does not necessarily have high popularity.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To All Bounty hunters on: February 16, 2020, 06:22:06 PM
Hold tokens from bounty is a wrong decision. I have been through it and I am disappointed with it, the price has dropped hundreds of times since I received it. It is best to sell them as soon as possible and buy the best altcoins in this market to hold, it will be a lot safer.
It is true that for the time being, the quality of new projects and their performance in the market are very disappointing, but not all projects are bad, a small number of new projects deserve your attention. It all goes back to how precisely someone evaluates a project. If you keep a trash token, it means your ability to judge a project is still inadequate.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Hardware wallet really secure enough? on: February 16, 2020, 06:08:19 PM
I think the news that you have heard about a trezor wallet was hacked in 15 minutes is maybe because he goes online using his wallet that a hacker has a chance to have an access in the walllet or he might not be using a legitimate trezor wallet.
Both of your opinions are wrong. You undoubtedly didn't read the first page of this thread.
Based on research conducted by the Kraken security lab team, they found a security hole in the Trezor hardware wallet. They predict that if the hacker gets access to your hardware wallet and you forget to activate the BIP39 passphrase, they can extract your wallet seeds with a security hole found by the team Kraken.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I kept USDT on: February 15, 2020, 03:52:30 PM
This strategy is rare but quite useful, The weakness of this strategy is the uncertainty of usdt.
You will not be able to predict when your tether will be frozen, use another stable coin that is more reliable.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP Price to $14 - Any thoughts? on: February 15, 2020, 02:47:29 PM
XRP cant break 0.3 and you are talking about 14,lol
Have you read the article that the OP shared? He is not talking about 14 $ but questioning your opinion about the article, although I doubt the author of the article, we must respect the views of others.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP Price to $14 - Any thoughts? on: February 12, 2020, 10:49:14 AM
Although I do not like xrp for many reasons, just like all of you, I do not deny the possibility that xrp has the potential to be used as a transaction payment tool on a global scale.

They look more friendly towards banks, and ordinary people are tremendously affected by all decisions taken by the government, banks must have close relations with the government.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of browsers add-ons on: February 11, 2020, 10:14:48 PM
Even though Google has checked before launching it to the public, but there are still gaps that can be used to steal your assets through add ons, developers who have this source code can insert complicated code that is difficult to understand and often cases of theft of data stored through add ounce.
I guess Google has a strict checking system for extension developers as well as they do in the Play Store, although we also understand that applications in Play Store are not so safe from hackers. They didn't learn from how strict the extension selection process is on Apple's platform.

you better not need to use add ons that are not really unused and better not at all to be safer.
I only use extensions to change the appearance of my browser.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of browsers add-ons on: February 10, 2020, 01:12:38 PM
I guess the Google team has been checking extensions or add-ons before they released on the chrome store, they don't seem to check the name of the extension listed by the uploader.

It looks like I will delete all extensions that I use, including Metamask.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What the shit is happening in CMC? on: February 10, 2020, 11:54:01 AM
Compare to the top exchanges on coingecko.

https://www.coingecko.com/en/exchanges

The exchanges that are on the top list are very known to us unlike in CMC, I'm not familiar with those at the top. I guess CMC allowed themselves to be paid just for the sake of this ranking since they have the huge traffic for market cap website.
An alternative to Coingecko that you might not know about is https://coincodex.com/exchanges/

I cannot guarantee that the data they display is free from errors or fake volumes, but it is undoubtedly better than the data presented by Coinmarketcap.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To All Bounty hunters on: February 09, 2020, 02:30:56 PM
2017 bunties are one of the best moment of hunters here in this forum but when bear market came many projects who conducted ICO on that year was bankrupt and runaway even they collected millions of dollars what they promised is all lies thats why many new bounties in 2018 also turned scam and many hunters are always the victim from this cannot even earn a penny even in a 5 month campaign very unfortunate but this year bitcoin once again show its power to regain and bring back the hope in crypto and I really hope that this year will also a good year for all of us who are working in our free time just to earn some crypto.
I'm not sure that new alternative coins will experience success like 2017 because, in 2019, the price of Bitcoin has increased, but the condition of alternative coins there are still many projects that fail to get funds.

The reason for the price of alternative coins in 2017 experienced a massive increase because the whales experienced FOMO.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top Crypto News Websites - Where do you find your crypto news? on: February 08, 2020, 03:59:08 PM
Hello everyone. I have written an article with the top websites to find crypto news. I hope this helps and if there are any that you think should be on the list, leave a comment and if i agree i'll add it. Note i'm not talking about social media / forums, but actual crypto news websites.
I used to read news about crypto in Coindesk that caused me not to be able to provide additional list recommendations to you, Sorry.

I just found out the existence of beincrypto and cryptopotato thanks to you, it seems like these two websites rarely enter the first page of google.

The website page display of cryptopotato is very similar to Cointelegraph
