Evan had to do the correct thing, and that to relaunch the coin, but given that he instamined 1.5M coins "by mistake" in 8 hours, he chose not to. Even if the bug was not intentionally placed (which i doubt), his temptation to hold into the coins was just that irresistible.

Regarding the worth of the coins, please go to any altcoin exchange in this world and try to buy half of the supply of any shitcoin without increasing its value by hundreds of times. Your argument is pure bullshit and you know it.

I agree. I underestimated him for quite some time. I didn't expect in a million years that he would embark on such a prolonged, elaborate fraudulent scam. Charles Ponzi would be really proud of him.

I mean...

- Instamined 1.5 million coins in 8 hours
- Reduced the supply from 80M to 20M, making his bags 4x more valuable
- Implemented masternodes so he could put the instamine to work by taking a chunk from the miners' pockets
- Created the Darkcoin foundation so he can milk coins from people that think it actually means anything. 100 Dash per Lifetime Subscription.
- Rebranded a few times so he could gain new investors.
- Implemented a decentralized budgeting system that works this way: A proposal is created, newbies vote it with their few masternodes and Evan comes with 1500 of his own to own the majority. Some of the proposals are really interesting, like : Up to 5000USD for a wordpress website, 5500USD for Public Awarness Campaign (huh ?), 3000 USD for the Core Team, because nobody wants to touch their masternode profits, and many more. Hehehe!

There are plenty of cryptos with big potential that i'm invested in, the world doesn't end at Dash. 13M usd marketcap after 2 years is not that big of an accomplishment. As a fan since early 2014, i just wanted to see this project having a clean history, nothing else.

This guy Evan Instaminefield built Dash on greed and deceit, that's the problem. He underestimated everyone, because almost every shitcoin developer was doing shady things and getting away with it in 2014. If he could only come up with the "budgeting system" before releasing the coin, none of this would've happened.

These 15-20 scam defenders that you keep seeing in here, to be more precise the entire Dash community, most of them had benefited from the launch, either by being paid by Evan for certain reasons, one of them being voting against the restart of the cryptocurrency, or just by being active in the instamine themselves.

It's funny because most of these scam defenders are very vitriolic when it comes to the distribution of bitcoin, which was honest by the way, but when it comes to XCoin/Darkcoin/Dash and Evan Instaminefield, they are protecting the ecosystem which was built on deceit like a bunch of degenerate brainwashed cultists.

The hypocrisy around here is astounding. I am ashamed that i have wasted hundreds of hours by researching everything about this project. I feel bad for realizing this late that this is nothing but snake oil.

Otoh relied a lot on Cryptsy and Bitfinex for manipulating Dash, hence why he managed to get the price from 600k to 2M+. Now that Bitfinex delisted the coin and Cryptsy, besides being unreliable these days, introduced account verification too, he has nowhere to go and manipulate. Polo requires verification and on top of that has a very low volume.

Some people just don't get that these types of questions are only the beginning.
Evan could go to Fintech Cuba, Mugamba and San Pedro Sula and his conferences would still be rendered null and void. You could give fancy powerpoint presentation throughout the whole world, but if someone puts this question at the end of each one of them, you can bet your ass that nobody would buy your cryptocurrency after.

The last impression at every conference would be Evan Duffield turning into a red crab out of shame for his past actions and the ridiculousness of this launch. It's never late to turn into a hero and just restart the whole god damn thing (13.5M marketcap).

Imagine the press you would get after doing a thing like this. If you don't plan on doing it, then it is very possible that Dash will keep on tanking and having all of its features implemented in Bitcoin or cloned in other fair launches. You had a 1 year of biases removed when you re-branded the coin. Now it's the perfect time to remove the 2 year "bias" regarding the launch.

I guess it's time to see how things will evolve by observing from the sidelines.

The more i engage with these snake oil salesmen, deceit defenders and biased cultists, the more i start to dislike this project.

I still have faith that one day Evan will implement a bug, but this time for starting the blockchain from 0. Probably it depends on what are his goals regarding the masternode revenues.

1.5M Dash = 1500 masternodes = 750 dash/day * 2.2 usd/dash = 1650 usd * 606 days = 1 Million USD revenue.

It means that we will probably have to wait for 1.66 years before that happens.

Actually, to make it easier, besides Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitshares, Maid, Storj, NXT, Counterparty, Monero (although i'm not sure) and a few others, i consider everything else a shitcoin. I would love to add Dash in that list, but i just can't. It's like a beautiful castle that was built on a sandy foundation. I'm still waiting for Evan to restart the blockchain and put an end to this deceit.

These pages have so much content in them that you have to scroll for at least half an hour. They contain trading analysis, tech conversations, funny rants from camosoul and others, el presidente's tutorials, white papers etc, absolutely everything that was interesting about Dash.

I was a fan of Darkcoin/Dash since early 2014, but gave up on it after seeing the signs of greed and deceit.
