221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Morpheus Network (MNW) - good investment? on: February 09, 2024, 10:31:06 AM
Morpheus Network (MNW Coin) is a shitcoin that makes increase during last Bull Run, base on the past record and the next bull run is around the corner, in which can make a equivalent the same or more than before price increase move. In other words make your research properly before investing.

Shitcoins make money.

I bought Arcblock at 8 cents and it has been the best altcoin performer over the last month recently reaching $1.40 - doesn't matter if it is a shitcoin as they pump and see good returns the key is taking profits and not being too greedy.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Morpheus Network (MNW) - good investment? on: February 09, 2024, 10:21:16 AM
Maybe it's a good idea to put a couple of bucks in there but I think I like your choice of word " gamble" which I will likely or may not invest in it.

But the fact that it's not popular could give it a chance of making one a good profit which will be withdrawn immediately after hitting the target because surely it may be one of the shitcoins that comes and goes after bull run.

I will have to check em out if you can gamble some funds In it.

I like altcoins that are scarce and have most of their supply in circulation and this ticks both boxes.

Have done some research and watched a few videos on Youtube, some say it could 100x but I will be happy with 20x

223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Morpheus Network (MNW) - good investment? on: February 09, 2024, 09:46:43 AM
Hi all,

I have recently come across Morpheus Network (MNW) and I like how scarce it is with pretty much all of its supply in circulation.

Current market cap is only $54m so think this has a real chance of seeing 20x returns or more this bull run which would give it just over $1b market cap which is nothing.

You do not hear much about this altcoin but I am thinking of taking a gamble on it, is anyone else invested?
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - yes or no? on: February 09, 2024, 09:40:48 AM
Still holding my XRP - I want at least $5 , hopefully $7.50 this coming bull run that's realistic right?

$5-7.50 would only give it a $270b - $400b market cap which won't be much compared to Bitcoin & Ethereum.

Not realistic considering that there are a lot of XRP in circulation. On top of that, Ripple (the company) holds a large portion of XRP tokens. Besides, the XRP Ledger hasn't replaced SWIFT yet. With no real use cases, it's hard to believe XRP will go to the moon anytime soon. I think $1 - $2 is a more realistic prediction.

Considering that this "cryptocurrency" is centralized, there's a high probability banks worldwide will adopt it in the future. I'd invest most of my money into Bitcoin and other truly-decentralized cryptocurrencies that are meant to stand the test of time. XRP is a very risky investment to say the least. The crypto market often behaves in many strange and bizarre ways, so expect the unexpected. Smiley

XRP pretty much hit $1 a few months ago so I am expecting at least $3-5 this bull run when all the hype is back.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Algorand dead or can it recover? on: February 09, 2024, 09:25:57 AM
Algorand is showing good signs going into this coming bull run.

I bought quite a bit at the bottom in September but wish I bought more.

I am happy I held though as i can see this reaching $4-5 in bull run

I love your enthusiasm, but the truth is there's not much to Algorand than "meets the eye". The competition is getting fierce each day, with new projects bringing innovative approaches to scaling. Aptos, Solana, Polygon, Sui, and even Avalanche have proven to be superior than Algorand in terms of tech and mainstream adoption. These competitors also have a bigger ecosystem of dApps, tokens, and services.

If Algorand wants to take off, developers are going to need to come up with something that will "blow away" the entire crypto/Blockchain industry. Otherwise, I'm afraid Algorand's market price will continue to decline until it becomes history. Not even a bullish market will save it. Who knows what surprises we'll find in the future?  Roll Eyes

Lets see, I still believe in Algorand.

It hit a low of 9 cents in October, hit 24 cents last month and has been consolidating at 17 cents since.

Bull run is almost here and I will be happy with $3.
226  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: CRYPTO PROFITS & UK TAX on: February 08, 2024, 04:40:09 PM
Thanks but yeah I have seen these links , I am just unsure regarding my initial question.

I am not definitely going to take some profits in the next few months but if we start pumping then I might do and just want to know when I will need to pay tax by.
227  Other / Beginners & Help / CRYPTO PROFITS & UK TAX on: February 08, 2024, 03:17:49 PM
I have been investing in crypto for just over 2 years now and have yet to cash out any profits to my bank but thinking of doing so soon.

I am not quite sure though when it comes to tax. The tax year in the UK is from 6th April to 5th April however we must declare by 31st January.

Now that the 31st January has passed, if I was to cash out some profit between now and 6th April, when would I have to pay tax by?

228  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Share your Crypto experience. on: February 08, 2024, 11:50:11 AM
I have now been investing in Crypto for 10 months and its been a test of patience thats for sure, feel like I have entered in a bad year with lots going on causing these bad times and low prices we are currently seeing.
if you are a true investor then there is no word like Bad Year for Bitcoin or crypto because this may sounds bad this moment but not in the next coming days.

My portfolio is currently 36% down And feel I have no choice but to hold till the next bull run which is hopefully only 12-18 months away. I will continue to DCA but in recent weeks I have slowed down having gone from investing every week to every 2 weeks as the prices just keep falling.
lol 36% and you are reacting like this? what about like mine that losses more than half of my investment at this moment?

I am just wondering if those who have been involved with crypto for a few years at least could share their experience and offer any advice for those new like myself?

Thanks
experience is what you are asking? then keep Holding thats it because there is no more powerful way of investing than Keeping the coins on hold for longer time than being bothered by dumping market like now.

I started this thread 15 months ago and glad to say I am in much better position now, my portfolio is 28% in profit.

We are only a few months away from the halving now so good times are coming finally.

The most funny part about xrp bagholders is the fact that xrp is worth the same as it was 7 years ago  Grin;D

I have only been holding 8 months so not so bad for me but yes holding 7 years is a long time for no profit.

But this bull run will be its first proper one for 7 years as it was suppressed by the court case last bull run.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Myro Putting Smile on its Investors. Which Solana Project Could be Next? on: February 06, 2024, 09:36:37 AM
I started watching Myro at 20 cents over a week ago and it crashed all the way down to 4 cents last week.

I got in at 5 cents and hoping to get a 10x out of it before the Bitcoin halving - if it goes to zero then so be it I only gambled small amount but feel it was work the risk at 5 cents

Arcblock is flying!! Just hit $1.40 , 6x up in a week!

Anyone know where this hype has come from? I am holding but have no idea why it is pumping.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Arcblock - anyone else get in early? on: February 05, 2024, 10:50:02 AM
Just shows anything is possible in crypto  Grin

It reached $1 last night so I took out my investment and now holding 4000 Arcblock for free - hopefully we see $3-5 in bull run
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Arcblock - anyone else get in early? on: February 04, 2024, 09:36:10 PM
Arcblock has been on massive pump over the last week I got in near the bottom in November and just taken out my investment.

With only 186 million supply and $70m market cap - this could still go a lot higher.

What has caused the hype lately and is anyone else invested?
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What price can XRP realistically reach this bull run? on: February 02, 2024, 12:41:30 PM
I don't buy XRP because I don't see any point in this currency.

What does she propose to do? What problems does it solve? What benefits can you get from being a holder?

I honestly can't see anything good for her.

its only functionality is price speculation and nothing else.

If someone who has more in-depth knowledge about her can tell me something to change my mind I would appreciate it.

Yeah, I have the same thoughts about it. I don't get it why so many people are hyping for it. I've seen people predicting it's big bull run for years, but it remained kinda still.

It has been in a law suit for years - this is the first bull run it will have seen for 8 years.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Myro - worth a gamble? on: February 02, 2024, 10:51:09 AM
Myro has crashed down to $0.04 yesterday, I bought 1000 at $0.05 as feel is worth a gamble at that price.

Anyone else gamble on this or does it look over?
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What price can XRP realistically reach this bull run? on: February 02, 2024, 10:49:24 AM
The top XRP price was around $1.9. Why do you think that it can get that high this time? It's ATH was 6 years ago.

Because it has been in a law suit for years which ended last year - this coming bull run is the first XRP has had without any case.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What price can XRP realistically reach this bull run? on: February 01, 2024, 03:00:20 PM
I might just hold XRP until 2030 as I think it can reach $5 possibly this bull run but that is not enough.

By 2030 it could be over $25 so even a bag of only 5,000 would be well worth holding till then.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When it comes to selling , is it best to convert or sell for cheaper fees? on: January 31, 2024, 11:30:37 PM
Update - I have successfully taken profits from my 2 altcoins that have both done over a 6x in recent weeks.

I am now holding both risk free having taken my investment out.

I find the best way is to sell on advanced trade on Coinbase and then just buy bitcoin/ another altcoin with the profits on advanced trade too as fees are much lower then buying on normal Coinbase
You should know better since you look like a regular user of Coinbase. I'm just curious why are you so worried about fees if you've profited 5x from your original investment? The cuts or commissions these exchanges take should be insignificant when you made that much.

I am a regular user of Coinbase but up till a month ago it was only buying.

Now some of my altcoins are pumping I want to take profits and hadn’t done much of that before which is why I asked what the best way of doing that is.

The difference between converting directly and selling into a stable and then buying back in is not much but it all adds up when it comes to the bull run and Im doing it a lot more.
