221  Economy / Speculation / Re: Every moments of bitcoin value is appreciable for investors on: March 19, 2024, 08:00:13 PM
While some short term goal investors are feeling disappointed in the Crytop currency market since few days now after the value of bitcoin has depreciated from $72,000 to $67,000 as at today, investors who're on the DCA purchasing method are taking chances of the fallen values to accumulate more to their holdings While there had been investors buying even when the value has surpasses the previous ATH because they believe that it's just a symbol that more values would be added to the market to appreciate their assets.

Who's it that says bitcoin has a specific period of purchasing it bitcoin? You should change that awkward thought and get your coins at when you can for bitcoin would always hold the best for you in the nearest future.

I'll just highlight a few important stuff I liked from your message, using DCA purchasing method , this might as well be the highest point if the market and we could as well experience a mini bear market b4 the bull returns cause if people's hands continues to shake and the sell pressure increases the price could dip even further and right now using a lump sum to invest might be risky cause we don't know if this bear would consolidate further or we are well at the end of it, so making any decision out of the safety of DCA is a bad decision, but I know not everyone would agree to this so it's everyone's choice.
222  Economy / Speculation / Re: Im new here but Im old trader i keep eyes on Market. on: March 19, 2024, 07:33:56 PM
On this thread i start reporting my analyse daily i hope it helps Smiley

What kind of analysis is this?  "Whales are loading bags full"?  That's not analysis, it's reading tea leaves in bull urine.  Price targets without reasoning are meaningless.  And congratulations on buying at a potential peak, because with "analysis" like this, you might be the one getting liquidated.  Do some research, learn about technical indicators, and maybe then you'll have something more than a psychic hotline prediction to base your trades on. This kind of speculations doesn't belong here, but in the Speculation board and the Wall Observer topic.

Ha this is clearly the speculation board or you were just so passed off by the shit post that you wanted to help clean the board by sending it elsewhere  Grin, Wall Observer would be a better place to post this, but I think with this quality and faking beign a trader they would also frown on this, but anyway all opinions are accepted 🙇‍♂️
223  Economy / Speculation / Re: Im new here but Im old trader i keep eyes on Market. on: March 19, 2024, 07:31:06 PM
I keep eyes on market specially now everybody want to know what btc will do next.
There is also theories that 70k-75k price range btc will fall hard back to 30-40k , it seems for now impossible.
On this thread i start reporting my analyse daily i hope it helps Smiley
Btc today now price 69k-70k there fight with bulls and bears and WHALE activity what i see that whales are loading bags full now.
Off course many traders will sell to take profit now and many will fear and many will Open short positions but shorts will be liqutated the long orders power its stronger until next btc price target 75k +
I see btc price Will be in 1-2 days 73-75k easy.
I just bought btc eth and some altcoins right now the 69k price range strong support zone for btc.

Last update of info:  Whales shake off Market the actual base level is 66-67k for btc but whales like to take it down and then it up and and again down just to play with it and confuse traders.
But If btc price 60k-70k price range it's good price to buy

You sound so logical forgetting that things never go as planned, although personally I'm still sure we would head to 100k but this consolidation was expected, with so much pump from bitcoin price it was bound to happen.

Now back to your speculation, traders don't control the Market and to me if I was a trader you hardly gave any real speculation, just speaking here and there and none of what you said seem to have any analytical reason meaning your faking beign a trader, and I can't wait to see you mistakenly made another post to contradict yourself.
224  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin bottom there yet? Fear & Greed, Pi Cycle Top / Bottom on: March 19, 2024, 07:18:35 PM
I've seen in the past years that no matter what indicators you're looking for, there's a very good chance that the reality will be based on one you've missed  Smiley
Since then I no longer try to find the bottom. It's too risky.

I don't think trying to time the dip works at all and if that's all you've got like waiting for the dip to buy then you woudl surely miss out on a lot of good opportunities to buy bitcoin and you would probably miss the dip that you are even waiting for, why not use the DCA strategy to buy bitcoin that way you would have less worries missing the dip and surely one of your weekly buys would be on a dip or if you have noticed that the price if bitcoin is on a decline you can set your DCA strategy to buy at more intervals at that period of time, and that way your average cost for buying would maybe sum up to the lowest dip price or even closer.
225  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: March 19, 2024, 05:34:52 PM
1Does Bitcoin actually have a Dip season? Or 2  just when you are capable to purchase that comes the investor Dip time?
Anyways, let me just say buying at the Dip and holding is the best format to purchase your Bitcoin and accumulate as much as you can while the markets erupts to be appreciated in values.

For your first question I think you are referring to the bearish period when the overall market trend is going down and price is reducing, I don't really understand your second question or what you mean by anytime an investor is capable to purchase beign the investors deep - I think you should throw more light on what you mean.

Buying  bitcoin at its dip is a good strategy for accumulating bitcoin, but we can't call it the best cause the dip is not a constant market condition and this means you would only have to buy bitcoin when the price is low and you won't be buying bitcoin again, but on this thread we have discussed this issue and have come to a conclusion that using the DCA strategy is a better strategy for accumulating bitcoin cause of many benefits and mainly because it helps as a shield to protect us from price volatility of Bitcoin and this is because with the DCA strategy you would be buying bitcoin consistently and would buy at almost every Market point, when they is a deep and when the price is high. This strategy or method is also easy to understand and involves no technical analysis or the user doesn't have to time the Market to check for dips, you just have to divide your capital into several parts and invest them on intervals.
It's also a good strategy for peopel with low income unlike buying on dips that you would have to have a huge capital to really take advantage or accumulate a huge quantity, but with DCA  a low income earning can accumulate much bitcoin cumulatively since he is going to Continue buying for a longer period of time than others, yeah i know that having huge capital is an advantage and can cover a person's long time investment in DCA but when investing in an unpredictable asset like bitcoin we should have in mind that timing the market is not a good strategy and the price your expecting can or would never come, moreover timing the market would be unproductive. So yes for many reasons DCA would stand out over buying the dip even if there are both good strategies.

While we alternates to diversify our investment to the altcoins, I don't think if there would be confidence of reliability to buy and hold for such a long term while aiming for increments in the market value. Believe it, altcoins cans be funny.

Not just that investing in altcoins is not a wise action and is in no way an investment but rather a gamble cause you know there are shitcoin and have no real world utility.
226  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Most secure wallet / hardware wallet for long term storage 2024 ? on: March 19, 2024, 10:34:26 AM
I've had a few various wallets over the years, but was wondering what the consensus is currently?

I don't think they can be an overall best wallet cause they are all built differently to suite different individuals with different purpose of usage, Personal and overall self custody is the best and which ever wallet you are using should be cold wallets with open source so you can have information if they are back doors by the developers, which ever wallet your using your private keys is what matters the most and you should try your best to store and save it well, maybe consider using a hard wallet like trezor if you want to store very large amount of asset in it. Practice self custody.

I've had a few various wallets over the years, but was wondering what the consensus is currently?

There are a lot of different hardware wallets nowadays, some of them are digital and others are pure metal, personally, i don't like the digital ones because i don't feel like they can last forever, but the mechanical ones are cool. I would recommend the Billfold:

This one is against fire, corrosion, water... so, for me feels like one of the most secure options nowadays. I don't like the fact that words can only use 4 characters, but is secure enough from my point of view.

Except the fact that's its so easy to lose if your careless, when I was anticipating which hard wallet I would buy, I was considering different factors such as how long I can keep I can keep it safe, especially if you plan to hold your bitcoin for up to 20 years and thigns like change of apartment, maybe getting other hard wallets and lots of possibilities that can occur along the line. So I think it's not really about the best hard wallet it's if you can keep it safe and how careful you are personally.
227  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC go back to $40K - $30K range before a bigger rally? on: March 19, 2024, 04:09:23 AM
Based on the pattern on the chart, it seems like Bitcoin is going to correct itself but to what extent, no one knows.

We can clearly see that BTC hasn't been able to cross its previous highs after each dip recently which indicates that there is a bearish momentum going on.
I think it's better to call it a correction than a bearish moment, we are clearly still in the bull and we can't just switch to a bear market when the price trend is still going up when looking at it from a higher time frame.

I think this recent correction was bound to happen, but from my previous speculation I was really expecting it to be strong and go down to 60k before gaining strength, but clearly I can see that the sell pressure isn't that much since bitcoin reached a new peak. I believe that as we reached a new ATH some investors decided to sell and that's what caused the price to correct and it would have been much more high if the ETF buying isn't giving the correction quite the resistance by buying almost all or a percentage of the available supply that the recent selling has caused in the market and I don't think the pressure of the correction would go further than this 66k range minimum that we are seeing.

So can we expect a major correction or it's going to go up again and reach $80K before halving?

Let's discuss.

Regards
SK

I don't know for sure how much lower its going to get but it's possible that we would maintain this battle of consolidation for a while maybe not specifically at this price range, but much like an up and down movement maybe for this week before we settle and gain back momentum to reach 80k, the halving us just around the corner and it's now invalid to be expecting the bitcoin to reach a new ATH after the halving, but right now we cam actually expect that the pressure or momentum of the bull woidl either have short boost and go up to 100k and hve a more bearish moment cause I'm sure the selling then wiudl be a lot higher than now and I'm not sure the ETF buying would give too much resistance to it and from there on I don't know if we would start having decile or if the market woudl recover and go up to 120k, but for now its all speculation.

Yea we are seeing a correction but to start calling "Bearish  momentum" a month before
the halving seems a bit odd.

Lets face it nobody knows where the market is heading in the short term but I cant see
it falling back to $40k and lower, not when we have seen serious buying up to last weekend.

The halving is still ahead of us.
Every time the crypto market experiences a high correction, there is a lot of new speculation saying it will enter the bearish market zone, even though the market increase dominates compared to the low correction in the current market, the market is still in normal condition after experiencing a significant increase in the last two months, I do not agree with the opinion that the market will was in the bearish zone before the halving, at least the market is gradually above 50k before the next increase, and I am optimistic about that speculation.

People seems to quite misunderstanding what a bear would mean, the market overall trend is bullish when looking at it from a higher time frame and you would not even notice this correction and a bearish zone woudl be like a major price decrease to 50k which would not happen considering the buying pressure still on by the ETF, this correction was bound to happen, weak hands woud love to valim profits and maybe buy back. So it's normal to had for this consolidation yo happen. Next week we should have recovered fro  this and up to 80k I guess or more playing around, who knows 🤔.
228  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 Push-Ups A Day Until Bitcoin Is $100K Challenge on: March 18, 2024, 12:28:21 AM

Bro your right, it shouldn't take up to three months to start seeing obvious changes in your body, especially if your quite aggressive at it or majorly consistent.

Just 3 weeks in, I've already started feeling pain around my upper chest and arm and few of my close friends are actually complimenting my muscle gain, so from my experience it should take that long.

Kwarkam learn to quote properly, I've seen you make this mistakes more frequently, adjust your quote on this post.
I got you... I'll quote better next time.
But you get the point. Three weeks should get you obvious changes if your routines are intensive. And not just the tension you get around your chest... Push up adaptations have their target regions, so i do push ups that target my whole upper body, and by the time btc hits a hundred thousand dollars, I'll be all buffed up, more than I currently am. Although I do the 100 pushups daily, I actually exceed that.

The truth is not everyone might be strong enough to do very intensive workouts to get those kind of results, besides many of us here are just really motivated by the fact that it is actually working and bitcoin is actually gaining value and not every one is young to go hard on it, so yeah having a linger time frame like 3 months is not too long if he falls under a weak category, so I think everyone would have different time frames to achieve result on their workout.

Personally, I am a pretty big advocate of low carb and high fat diets.... so trying to stay natural with your foods, and then you can eat as much as you want as long as you are cutting out most of the bad stuff that might be high in sugars or high in unnatural kinds of oils or very processed foods that have a lot of artificial ingredients that interfere with your body's absorption of nutrients.

So maybe it depends upon what you are eating, because if you are starting to eat more, but you are eating better quality foods, even thinking about eating natural foods instead of processed, then you should still be advantaged, even if your appetite might have been getting higher based on your increasing levels of activity... without knowing more about the kinds of food you are eating, it might be more difficult to say what kinds of adjustments that you might want to make in regards to the kind of foods you are eating.   If you eat a lot of carbs then those have more likelihoods to keep you from losing weight.. especially processed carbs..

I do know that sometimes when I eat a lot of foods with dairy, I will get a bit sluggish in my work-outs, so sometimes I try to moderate my dairy, or maybe eat some of the dairy after I do my pushups rather than before, even though I am spreading my pushups through the whole day. so I am not completely able to do my push-ups before eating, even though I try to structure them a bit in that direction when possible.

Another decently important component is making sure that you are sleeping well, so then if you have the increased activities through your increased focus on daily exercising, then maybe that would also help you to sleep better too.. perhaps?.. so yeah 6-9 hours of good sleep helps your bodies recovery and likely its abilities to process nutrients better.
Your words seem to be a big advocate about food and nutrition, even many doctors don't give such advice about food. My personal doctor, like you, advised me to avoid carbohydrates, high fat diets and processed foods as much as possible.

I am not against fats or even high fat is o.k... as long as we are eating natural fats from animals rather than processed oils that sometimes will try to simulate real fats but they have too many artificial processes that contribute to inflammation in our body.. so those would be almost any of those seed oils such as Canola oil, soybean oil or any of the processed oils - even olive oil is questionable.

Cold pressed oils are better such as natural animal fats, Coconut oil, butter.... eating meat with fats is good and eating whole eggs both the yolk and the whites is good.

I can't remember many food restrictions when I sit down to eat together with my family. But to stay healthy, these advice must be followed. I humbly want to know if you also use this method to lose weight?

I try to eat a lot of meats and natural foods, but I also have some carbs in my diet .... but I try not to eat very many carbs, including breads (even though i do eat breads once in a while)..   As we get older, we become more insulin resistant, so our bodies will not tolerate as much abuse or even be able to process some of the carbs as we were able to when we were younger.

I think it's quite good to take to consideration the kind of food we eat, I could affect our body and make us gain fat instead of muscles which is not our aim here, I think it might be a good advice that we take food that would well help us in our excerise might be something nice to add to the table, but not everyone might be able to have time to prepare health meals or eat the right kind of food,
229  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: March 17, 2024, 11:52:43 PM
[edited out]..Now if you are mixing your actions by buying and selling (in other words trading) then that is another story, but if you are strictly buying, then you have a dynamic that either your holdings are continuously going into less and less profits (in a bear market) or you have the dynamics that your holdings are increasingly in profits (in a bull market).
I highlighted a paragraph out, I've not been mixing strategies, I've been buying but I always thought we have been in the bear Market and I have also expressed myself in terms if us beign in the bear market but right now I feel my perspective of what a bear market or bull market is shattered, so I think it would be fair if I could explain more about it.

I already explained and probably overly explained, and so you need to think in longer timelines.  In essence, we have been in a bull market since November 2022, and I give little shits about what others say about the various corrections along the way.  The market does not change back and forth.

on the other hand, we could fairly assess that we might not have had realized that we were in a bull market until either mid-2023 or even as late as October 2023, but surely at some point, we would have or should have realized that we were in a bull market rather than a bear market since November 2022.

Bull market is that the price is generally trending up (even if there may well be short or long periods of corrections in between).

In other words, you cannot be flipping back and forth, and clearly even if we were in a correction in December 2023.. who gives any shits.. we were still obviously already in a bull market, even if there was a correction.

This is what I have understood from your explanation, if the price of bitcoin is going up or generally gaining value even if they seem to be corrections and what seem to be temporal dips when the price drops for a certain period of time and begins to add back again, and if we are looking it from a longer time frame and we notice that the movement of the market is upwards then it us a bull market, and also the same for a bear market when the price is generally moving downwards.

I think why I have always misunderstood this concept was because I was looking at it from a shorter time frame and getting confused due to temporal price correction and I was also thinking or assumed that when ever a dip occurs it was a bear market. I never knew that the market doesn't switch from bull to bear from time to time but rather stays on one trend for a longer time frame.

But I remember that it's good to have senerios or possibilities in short time frame and also longer time frames, where i could plan a set of different possible outcomes that could happen and prepare ahead which I've always been doing for a while now, but before now my focus has been on short time Frames without making preparation for a longer time frame.

Of course, any of us still wants to try to minimize his cost per BTC, but there is ONLY so much that we are able to do about those kinds of things, especially if we are new to bitcoin and still building our stash...

I just don't want to bother much about my average cost now even tho I'm quite afraid that I might be buying at the highest price points and its possible for the bear to set in any time soon, but I know neither of these is my business cause I'm still quite early in bitcoin and I know that maybe over the years it's possible I could balance out my average cost or maybe bring it down a little bit lower as long as I'm consistent in my buying.

Welcome to the forum, firstly you better read the forum rules so you don't end up getting a negative trust or a ban on your account for violating forum rules, earning merit is an experience that you would surely get as long as you make quality contribution to the forum and continue to improve yourself, you can check the psot that has been earning merit thay all have one thing in common they were not merited by the Same person which means anyone can give you merit here as long as he finds your post merit worth and they is no fixed way of weighing a post as merit worthy it all depends on the reader, do good luck .
232  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Quickest way to earn merit? on: March 17, 2024, 11:50:32 AM
From my little experience I don't think k there is any shortcut to earning merits, its all about making contributions to the forum and beigj of help to others, anyone that has merit can give you merit based on how they view your contribution and everyone has different perspectives here and would give merit based on those personal convictions on your post, so there is no route to this apart from improving on the quality of your post and making contributions to the forum.
233  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Too much pressure on the male child on: March 17, 2024, 06:27:53 AM
The problem is that male children are born with responsibilities cause the society sees them as potential bread winners and when they are up to an age without showing any signs of progress by providing for themselves they are seen as useless and as tho they won't make it, and worst of all the life of a youth us now wreaked, you would see a lot of your mates doing well and you know damn right that they did something bad to get there and you end up with no choice but to either follow suite or find your own way which would often take longer, surviving with a lot of pressure is not easy and male children have the worst burden to bear.

When men has spears they used it to kill each other, when we had no form of knowledge and technology, can used a stone to kill his brother abel, human has always had sin in us waiting to take advantage of our insecurities and show us or true nature the nature Adam had inherited from obeying his new father Satan and making us flesh, this same battle great men of old had continued to fight untill this day when our master JESUS had done a clean and perfect finished work, no one can work in absolute self control or righteousness except by the Holy spirit, he is your power given to all those that believe and its the only way to save humanity from broken power and systems that are only making things worst. We can't keep trying to fix internal problems from outside and this time I mean problems of the soul, the only way for this world to have peace and totally eradicate madness is to live in the Spirit and that is fact.

Give your life to christ.

OP you cant blame the manager for picking the man based on his feeling that he wiudl do the job better, and from what you said he was looking at physical Strength which is something a male has more than a female, so it's not fair to blame him for making such decision.

I don't think women should even have the vote!

Cool

I agree with you on this, just see how a little right is making them feel in the society, there should fucking know their place and sit while men rule, but I guess working isn't such a bad thign for them to do.
236  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Americans will burn in hell for eternity on: March 17, 2024, 06:00:57 AM
Where is all this coming  from OP, I was expecting some kind of news or reason for them to burn in he'll, you know not everyone is from USA so I guess we deserve to know why there are burning or would burn so we Don't follow in their footsteps, but since you don't I'll assume you've gotten to attached to soem YouTube video or Tokyo guy that is talking about Satan all the time.

Bro noone would go to he'll which in the context the Bible uses it is an eternity without GOD where your sprit would suffer hunger, drought, homelessness and all the pitifully thigns ever, now second death Lake of fire is a time where history woudl be rest and possibly every evil thign in creation or that ended up that way would be utterly erased from existence.

If you accept Jesus into your heart and believe he dies for your sins, no matter what you've done you are saved, and that is the truth, no one needs to atone for his sins, JESUS has already done it for us and his price is and was a perfect price every acceptable in the eyes of GOD.

I know I've not been that long in bitcoin but at least if this bull run is over I would count that as one cycle cause I started accumulating during the bear market and one thign I noticed is how much it is hard to hold in such market conditions and how it can affect the best of us especially those that have a major portion of their asset or Value stored in bitcoin,

I am confused.  I thought that you ONLY recently started accumulating bitcoin.. so if so, you were not investing in a bear market.

And, even if you started investing in the last 16 months, it was not a bear market.

I will grant that we might not have realized that the last 16 months had been a bull market until either mid-2023 or maybe it did not sink in with enough evidence until around October 2023... but the fact of the matter is that any investment strategies that you had been employing in bitcoin in the last 16 months had not been during a bear market.

You cannot proclaim that it was a bear market merely because it was below the previous ATH.. the fact of the matter of the last 16 months is that the BTC price had been pretty much going up the whole time even though there were some corrections in there and some of us might not have had been clear about it having had been a bull market the whole time.

In other words it is a bunch of bullshit when people are mislabelling what kind of market that we were in....

Now, if you had been in the market in late 2021 and through out 2022, then you would  have been in a bear market, yet you would not have realized that you were in a bear market until maybe some time around May 2022 it became somewhat clear that we were in a bear market.

I will grant you that we don't really necessarily know what kind of market we are in at the time that we are in it, so sometimes we should be talking with some caution about what kind of market that we are in, especially since laboring what kind of market we are in is a lagging indicator, and the mere fact that we might be in a bull market and there are some corrections in the middle of the bull market, the market does not change merely because there is a correction, even though we might not know where we are at, even though at any given time, we can see that we are in an uptrend or a correction or maybe a consolidation range.

Anyhow, part of my point is that the dynamics are different if you are getting in and you are buying while the BTC prices are going up as contrasted if you are buying while they are going down.

Now if you are mixing your actions by buying and selling (in other words trading) then that is another story, but if you are strictly buying, then you have a dynamic that either your holdings are continuously going into less and less profits (in a bear market) or you have the dynamics that your holdings are increasingly in profits (in a bull market).

Maybe you need to explain your timeline again in order for me or anyone else to understand when you were buying and what you were doing because my sense (or memory.. which might be faulty) is that you have not even been buying more than 16 months.. so therefore you were likely buying in a bull market, even if you might not have had realized it.. but feel free to correct me if my memory is wrong.

Nah I've not been up to 16 months in, I've only been 6 months in although I started beign consistent from December, but now I'm confused can please explain more about the bear market and the bull market, cause i initially thought that the bear is when bitcoin is experiencing a price decline and much people are selling instead of buying while the bull is when bitcoin is appreciating in price and more people are buying instead of selling. This has been the definition of what a bear market and a bull Market has been to me, is there a better way to define this or have I been wrong with my own personal definition or concept of bear and bull markets.

If I started buying before December or rather let me use December, the trend was kind of bearish casue we were still experiencing some kind of price decline and I think bitcoin also had a major dip or correction to 25k around that same period of time, so i think anyone nee to bitcoin woudl assume they are in a bull, that's why I've been thinking that way.

Looking at the market you would notice a  resistance since bitcoin crossed its ATH and many other altcoins like ETH also faced that resistance.

The truth is we alm should be expecting a pre halving dip even if not much a a serious consolidation that would retrace around 20% backward, then we can start having major price increase.

I Don really favour any altcoin as much as I do bitcoin and to be sincere I've never bought any except from airdrops or rewards for task from bounties, but i used to have FOMO a certain time for pepe meme coin, just lived the toad, I used to follow them on Instagram and viewed a lot of their funny memes, but I never bought anyway, it's one thing to like and another to invest, I just felt its too risky given the fact that it had no real utility apart from fun.
