221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: August 26, 2023, 01:40:18 PM
This is Arsenal 3rd game of the season and Arteta has refused to start any of the games with Gabriel Magalhaes. Honestly I'm not happy with what Arteta is doing this season. He had a big season with Gabriel and now retire him to the bench, for what reason? If Arteta continues like this, he will lose control of this team if he keeps up this mentality, you drop a proper RB for a midfielder to play out of position.
Gabriel Magalhaes may always be on the bench, but what exactly is the justification for benching such a superb defender? Arteta has recently caught my attention for some behaviours that I don't believe will assist the team progress. I don't know, Arteta might just be perplexed at the time. I questioned why he started Tomiyasu in the last game against Crystal Palace when Zinhanko was available, and once again, Arteta hasn't been given the chance the some talented players deserved in team especially trossard.
222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't wait for the bottom without buying in the Dip. on: August 26, 2023, 12:26:18 PM
I was thinking that before the end of this year Bitcoin will spike and get to $60k or not lower than $40k or far above it and it has just been my prediction, I also did not think that Bitcoin will even drop bellow the $28k level again this year, but I believe I got disappointed on my assumption and it was really a good thing that my assumption failed, because if it had not, I will not be able to buy bitcoin around $26k and also bought in $25k.

It always  every hard to predict the direction price Bitcoin, and that why reason we are always ask to invest what we can afford to lose.timing Bitcoin price some time is what make some is what courses some failures in cryptocurrency industry, it lead some people to invest what they cannot afford lose because their thinking is this that they will make profit as time they predicted.but who knows what happens to Bitcoin price will happen before the end of December as you predicted but I can't really say that Bitcoin price can pick $40k before December.

223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My dream is coming close. on: August 25, 2023, 11:15:23 PM
I know it is a big or uncommon goal to achieve considering my current income. I have a big dream of owning one Bitcoin before a certain period. So when people are bothered that the price of Bitcoin is dropping, I am seeing it as an opportunity to go closer to my dream. I am in no way happy that the price is dropping but one Bitcoin will always be one Bitcoin, no matter the price today. If you are sure of bitcoin, you will not be concerned about the price today because the price in the future will always exceed the current price.I have learned from this forum that there is no need to dump your coin because of FUD, this distraction will come and go. So I am no longer reading those blogs or social media that is promoting this this fear that will make me dump my small holding and abandon my dream. My focus is to own one Bitcoin.

You have a great dream, and I hope you achieve it quickly. As for me, I also have a dream of holding some reasonable amount of Bitcoin, despite the fact that I have not started buying because I have still learned some stuff here. op I think the reason some people complain about the dropping price of Bitcoin is because maybe they bought it at a high price and are waiting for the price to increase so they can sell and make their profits. I believe nobody will buy Bitcoin at a high price and see the price declining and complain, unless it is those who are ready to hold for long periods of time. Let me let know that if the price of Bitcoin keeps declining, it will discourage some newbies from investing because they will be thinking maybe Bitcoin is coming to an end. I think the advantages of Bitcoin's declining price are only for those in the system because I don't think it will increase Bitcoin adoption.

If I have no idea what will happen in the cryptocurrency industry tomorrow or in the near future and I am holding some amount of Bitcoin and the price of Bitcoin is dropping, I will surely panic because I am not aware of what will happen in the future. Maybe the price will keep declining; I don't know, and that is what normally puts fear in our minds as newbies. I believe that only those who have good knowledge about Bitcoin or who have experienced the decline of Bitcoin's price many times before will be the ones who are strong and will not panic.
225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do star players affect the odds of a match bet? on: August 24, 2023, 09:53:03 PM

My question is simple, do star players really affect the odds of a bet, or wager or stake on a match, putting into consideration the four levels of contribution in a match, as I mentioned earlier?

I believe there are many factors that affect the odd, but I will say star players contribute seriously to the odd changes; in fact,  I have witnessed it many times before. For example,  when one particular star player gets injured, especially in training, you will see that betting companies are reducing the odds. It is due to happen, but I believe that only those who spend some time in a betting company may witness it. Let us know that the absence of stars in the squad always reduces the strength of the team,so star players always have important roles they play in making changes.
226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth it to teach older people about bitcoin technology? on: August 24, 2023, 09:07:07 PM
Bitcoin has captured the center of attention, especially with the younger generations showing keen interest in it. Yet, there are those who believe that teaching older individuals about it might not be a wise investment of time. However, we must ponder: does it carry value? This conversation revolves around the question of whether it's worthwhile to educate older generations about bitcoin.

Everyone can use bitcoin, regardless of age, gender, or sexual orientation, depending on their interests. This makes it possible for everyone to learn about Bitcoin and its blockchain technology. I think getting older people involved in the cryptocurrency sector will significantly boost the rate of adoption of Bitcoin. Let's remember that Bitcoin was developed as an alternative to fiat currency, not as a vehicle for investment, therefore if elderly people are making purchases, I think Bitcoin will be extremely helpful to them. As a result, we need to bring them along so they can also utilize it.
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin really not for everyone? on: August 15, 2023, 10:34:26 PM
Let us know that Bitcoin was created for everybody, but not everyone will understand and take part in the system of Bitcoin technology. No matter how hard we try to explain to people the importance of Bitcoin, not all of them will believe it. Even though the government legalized Bitcoin as an alternative payment to fiat currency, there will still be those who do not make use of it. I believe that not everyone will make use of Bitcoin because of their level of illiteracy, especially in some parts of some countries.

Manchester United will not be able to do as expected again this season. This is evident from the game they play.

This is what we call faux reaction and over complicating stuffs lol. This is just the first game of the season; the performance ofcourse is not up to standard; but it is not an indication of a failed season at all. When its december; after 18 games played; then you can judge if the team is fighting for the league or just the top 4 champions league position.

Yes, it is too early to judge that they will not perform well again this season. Let's remember that the season just started and this is their first game, and despite the fact that they did not lose, they tried their best to secure three points. Even though we want to judge them, let's see how their performances will be in the next 10 matches. In fact, even last season, Manchester United did not start with a good performance but later became a strong team after some matches. Manchester United's performances were really worse than what they were playing in the preseason.
229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wrong way to accumulate. on: August 15, 2023, 12:33:22 AM

You also risk investing beyond what you can afford to lose which is not what any wise bitcoin investor would do. Bitcoin accumulation is not supposed to be a stressing and self-pressured process but some persons doing it in that way thinking they had arrived late to bitcoin and have to meet up, but that's all a fallacy. With bitcoin you're never late, you only arrived at your right time.

What are your own thoughts on wrong ways you think people follow in  bitcoin accumulation.

Many people invest more in bitcoin than they can afford to lose. I think there are two types of people: those who are greedy to make it quickly in the crypto industry or those who don't know how Bitcoin works. Investing more than you can afford to lose in bitcoin can keep you worried all the time; it will hardly get you out of your mind because whenever the bitcoin market reacts negatively, you will never be yourself; in fact, it can lead you to sell off your bitcoin. Many people find it hard to make a profit on their Bitcoin investments because they never sell at the right time, and because they invested the money they were not supposed to invest in bitcoin, when the time comes and they don't have the money and do not have others to get money from, they will end up selling their bitcoin, even in a bear market.

231  Other / Beginners & Help / Is there still future for growth in bitcoin and crypto? on: November 30, 2022, 03:27:05 PM

I don't know why some people are talking negatively about Bitcoin and crypto just because of this bear market. Despite I am newbie with little research I still believe there is still future growth for Bitcoin and crypto generally.

Have Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies' underlying principles changed?

Has the technology behind bitcoin and other big coins undergone any negative changes?

Comparing this bear market to the previous bear market, has adoption progressed down?

Are Bitcoin's and Crypto's use cases decreasing at all?

Are big businesses and institutional investors abandoning Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies?

To tell all of the following if the majority of your questions were no. In general, you would be right.

There is opportunity and no indication that growth will slow down.

But remember to evaluate the risk, and how much risk you can tolerate. And stop panicking the bear market it is just for a short-term.

232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 30, 2022, 02:12:23 PM

In my opinion, Mexico will win Saudi Arabia. Mexico played really well against Argentina and if they play like that against Saudi Arabia they'll win and if they win might qualify depending on the amount of goals the score. I really don't think Saudi Arabia can win Mexico.

As for Argentina vs Poland, I also think Argentina would win. They're a better side. We've been shocked a lot in this tournament but I don't think Poland will win. They'll play with  a five man defense and hope for the counter attack. Argentina would qualify together with Mexico/Poland. But I don't see Saudi Arabia qualifying

Although Mexico has talented players and Saudi Arabia performed admirably against Poland in their most recent match, I don't have much faith in Mexico to defeat Saudi Arabia. In fact, I believe that Saudi Arabia was the team that controlled the pitch and ultimately prevailed against Poland. According to my memory, Saudi Arabia had 64% of the ball possession and had five shots goals on target compared to 36% for Poland and three shots goals on target and fortunately two chance on goals. Saudi Arabia was not that lucky.

And I hope Argentina beats Poland because I can tell how committed the team is right now and because they have a stronger team than Poland. But let's wait and see how the game turns out since what we're saying is just a forecast based on our unique analyses, and sometimes in football, things like magic do happen. Poland is presently the most likely side in the group to draw a game, so if they can play a defensive game today, they might play a draw and advance to the round of 16.
