Try Coinbase.com for "cashing out," but be careful to hold onto as many Bitcoins as you're financially able to. I seriously doubt Bitcoin will die, but instead it should increase in value as more people jump on board and want to buy it and companies like Dell stop "cashing out" as well. Bitcoin is a currency and it should be transacted with, not "cashed out" to another currency as if it was a stock or something. Not everyone accepts Bitcoin yet, so sometimes that does need to happen. Coinbase.com is available both to the USA and the UK and probably other parts of the world now, but they're based in the USA. It's one of the most credible companies on the market right now and the quickest to convert your Bitcoin to fiat as they send it to your bank.
As for premiums, go with BTC-e.com or Cryptsy.com as those are some of the largest exchanges out there right now. BritTrex, and BTer are available as well, but BitFinex.com seems to be lacking in the chart department, but has more tools geared towards financial specialists. The only premiums an exchange will chare are exchange fees. They usually are only .2% or .25% on each trade, not 20 Pounds on an 0.1 BTC transaction at the current market rate.
Good luck to you and I hope you enjoy the world of Bitcoin!

An idea on how this could be accomplished is by using API data where you get the value of a coin in USD (or better yet, BTC if BTC won't be included) and multiply it by the number of coins in circulation. Plot that on a chart for each coin every 5 minutes to a day or what have you, and over time you'll have a nice chart showing the market capitalization for longer periods. If you use cryptsy's API, you can easily get the value of each coin, but I don't think it shows you how many coins exist at that point.

My guess is that Satoshi is the US government and that Bitcoin is the "one world currency." While I don't like the notions the NWO brings for the most part, a global currency sounds like a good idea to me as long as the law doesn't outright black ball every currency, save for Bitcoin.

Either it'll become centralized with only a handful of people having the Blockchain, or if the currency stays legitimate, the developers will figure out a way to condense old transactions. For instance, you could stop confirmations at a point where it's obviously safe. Therefore, creating a break in the blockchain. How you'd pull this off is beyond me, though.

I'd seriously doubt that Bitcoin will ever die with this much power behind it. It's still in beta, but to me it might as well be version 1,000 like FireFox is trying to work up to. It has it's flaws, but the development team is working to fix every last one of them and that's what counts. If tomorrow the value of a Bitcoin was $1, I could still see tons of people investing and driving the price up to at least $300. At this point it just seems too difficult to kill Bitcoin.
So, to answer your question, yes I would dump my savings into Bitcoin and i think a lot of us would.

PayPal is one of the reasons that Bitcoin was created in the first place. We need a trustless and low fee service, not a commercialized scam organization perverting our efforts. eBay just needs to realize they've lost and go away. P2P marketplaces like One Market and Open Bazaar are the new wave now. They had their chance and only wanted to hurt people with their power. Now they're trying to take some of the Bitcoin transactions under their system. I seriously hope PayPal doesn't tower over legitimate companies like Coinbase and BitPay even though they're trying to "partner" with Coinbase now. I hope their version of partnering doesn't inclue buying them out and shutting them up or I'll be closing my Coinbase account.

0.91.b: Closes immediately on strartup 0.92.c: "icuin52.dll missing" error on startup 0.89.q x-64: found this on my hdd and installed. Seems to work so far. I think it's just OT however, without Moneychanger GUI. comes up with the usual no server contract message and stuff. Win7 Ultimate SP1 x64. Have installed a lot of SW listed here: https://github.com/Open-Transactions/Open-Transactions/blob/master/docs/INSTALL-Windows.txtEdit: Have not found a log folder. Can provide logs if you can point me there. Seriously I have never compiled anything in my life and it is quite confusing and right now I don't even know if I have to build anything, have some of the installed programs open or just use your installer and ist's supposed to be all included. I have gone through the whole thread and done a lot of reading on OT and in the Installation docs on GitHub. It's late, need to go to bed. any help appreciated. Is this still the actual prerequisites? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=77301.msg861959#msg861959Same here. OP, please include all necessary libraries in your installer before releasing this or tell us what prerequisites are required.

I uploaded the file in question ( https://mega.co.nz/#!6cAxzBjT!KVntyW_y8j4QVwobEHROrRhpuKnX_2uxd-KML_S4ips) to virustotal.com and noticed that other people have also uploaded it there on August 2nd. It came out clean. Both the OP and the supposed archive page on BitcoinTa.lk have the same file linked to. I'm not sure what to make of this, but can the people who claim their money was stolen please provide evidence of some kind of transfer from their address to the attacker's address? If enough people show that their money was sent to one address, perhaps we can expose the attacker. If there isn't any evidence, then perhaps it's all just FUD. It's not completely infallible, but having multiple people posting transaction data from before my post was made requesting it, should surely help to prove things beyond a reasonable doubt. Things to consider: 1.) Virus Total first analyzed the file listed in the OP and the BitcoinTa.lk forum (same file) on August 2nd. 2.) FUD about ZIPCoin wasn't even started by August 4th, meaning time zones are irrelevant. 3.) FUDsters are claiming the file in the OP is different from the one on BitcoinTa.lk citing it as an archived version of the OP. Both files are the same. (Was the other one updated too?) 4.) If the OP had a different file originally, then why didn't anyone mention the stolen coins right away? How was the clean file uploaded to VirusTotal on August 2nd when it wasn't available yet? (Did the dev upload it first as a makeshift insurance policy? Was the scam tactic unnoticeable even with the suggested wallet.dat ->voot.dat for all other coins? Did anyone open their wallets for the other coins before the FUD started?) Most of these suggest that the coin is legit, but there are some things that could be smoke and mirrors. The link cited doesn't exist. (Was it removed as it was a virus?) The CryptoCoinTalk.com forum post is by Admin. It's a popular Bitcoin Forum, so they have a reputation to keep. I think they posted it on the ZIPCoin dev's behalf. Did someone have a vendetta against ZIPCoin or did someone hack the forum or Admin account?

Would you be willing to stay on as a developer? I'm a web developer, but not really much into software dev and I don't feel like doing that end of the upkeep. I know it's asking a lot, but even though you stated you don't want any premined coins, that's all I can really offer you right now. I want to think this through on how to market the coin properly so it takes off. I have a few ideas that could give new miners an incentive to mine it, or I could simply do what some coins are doing now and have 100% premine and use PoS to entice people to use it. If one of my coins is equal to 1 BTC, but it accumulates value over time with PoS unlike Bitcoin, people could use my coin as a buy and hold coin (like you would do with a CD) and then exchange it for Bitcoin. I think the latter would be better, but as I'd own all of the coins, I'd have to be my own exchange and that means getting a Money Transmitter License now. I'm fine with that, but I have to make sure things stay secure and the most secure method I can think of is doing everything manually. Like I said, there's a lot to consider, but in the end it could be worth the effort.
So, are you willing to stay on as a dev for a coin like this in exchange for some premine?

What kind of porn are we talking about? I'll PM you a list of some awesome websites I like that are free. Does that count? If it's legal, I can find it.
NSFW: (Highlight to view) BDSM, incest, legal teen porn, fetishes of all flavours, mom and pop shag videos, grannies gone wild, fake rape, heck I even found a video of someone having huge bell peppers shoved up their butt before! Like I said, if you want porn, I'll find you whatever it is you want.
