221  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Local crypto exchanges go fit survive for Nigeria? on: March 17, 2024, 05:09:41 AM
I can remember some people complained that this will not encourage crypto business establishment in Nigeria but the second increase the amounts as naira devalues.

Omor minus joke and play, the registration fee high oo, even if say many of those exchanges and outside and them come in say the value of dollar to naira no go make the money big like that for their side, how about those people for Nigeria wey dey plan to create exchange before ?  I no dey against the required minimum paid up capital because for you to get exchange then you must prove to us say you mean business and you done ready to provide standard management, so that hackers no go fit dey shook hand for people assets anyhow.
222  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Newbies make una stop those off topic posts ASAP on: March 17, 2024, 04:49:39 AM

223  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: The causes of hunger in Nigeria on: March 17, 2024, 04:35:31 AM
It's so unfortunate to see that a common man cannot longer afford food to eat in Nigeria, a country that is well known for agriculture and high level of cultural heritage. I think the root causes suffering, food insecurity and unsustainable development include: poverty, corruption, incompetent leadership, regional insecurity, tribalism, region differences, national policies that do not promote equal access to food for all, environmental degradation, barriers to trade, insufficient agricultural development, population growth, low levels of education, social and economic instability.

Op if you know wattin good for you, you better lock this thread before you chop tag now. Wattin be una problem, abi na because people just dey carry look somekind things commot eye? Wattin be the meaning of this post now, abi them tell you say all of us Nigerian no wattin wattin dey happen for the country? If to say you talk about something else but na Nigeria vital news fine, we go read am come make contributions but see the kind useless thread wey you create baba if you no know wattin to post, make you read from there you go get inspiration to make Bitcoin related post.

Na because of all this kind useless post naim make many of our Senior men no dey like come local board again, how Dem go come place wey newbies dey behave as if them no sabi read, if to say na like this we start you think say we for get any merit sef?

In fact, the vex I dey vex like this ehn, I go take this matter upon myself. ANY NEWBIE WEY I WAN TO LUCK THREAD SAY E NO LOCK AM, THAT PERSON GO CHOP TAG.

And another thing again creating of multiple thread when your precious thread never enough comments is not allow here, so learn, because next time I no go take am easy on you.
224  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / Re: The bad habit of business in Nigeria on: March 17, 2024, 04:24:08 AM
I will be so glad if we can talk about this maybe I am wrong, right,

Hello mate. I guess you are new to the forum and still don't understand anything on how things works. Why bother yourself creating low quality posts and also spamming when you should be learning and taking your time to understand better the forum?.

Baba thank you very much, na my mind na you just talk so, I no understand why the op come Bitcointalk finish, after seeing the name of the forum, e just decide say na about business e just wan dey talk, e come create 2 thread wey they almost related not too far from each other. Op be so we dey do things for this forum oo, the soul purpose of the forum na to discuss about Bitcoin, but when you get other valuable information wey fit benefit the next person we dey also welcome that one for local board. But as a newbie I no suggestions make you start to dey follow those wey don sabi waka for this forum, I expect your post to be Bitcoin related, until when you don dey fit interact with Bitcoin general group then you don get enough experience to make quality post even if na off topic.

And you are not advised to make another post when the first one never get enough comments within that small time frame.
225  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Bitcoin chief loses over 136 million naira through errorneuos transfer on: March 17, 2024, 04:08:12 AM
Omor no be small money we dey talk for there oo, 90k USDT. Anyway Sha this na another cooked lesson wey don drop for our head oo, say make we calm down cross check address before we send money inside, e no get how hurried we dey at that time, make we just clam down oo, if not our own story fit be the next. Me I go take my time check the address wella, irrespective of the amount wey I wan send because if e go, you fit no get am back except say na better person hand e enter, some persons sef fit consider that your mistake transaction as donation or gift.
226  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / Re: How to solve network issues for men and airtel on: March 16, 2024, 08:41:48 PM
I no dey like use vpn because of security risk

Though VPN no bad Sha, if you use the better one. Sometimes we dey like free things, but we they forget the phrase wey say free things dey purge. Sometimes you fit decide say you wan use the VPN, but as you enter am na soso ads you go just dey see, and some of those ads fit redirect you to site wey dey harmful to your device, from there hacker fit come in. But one of the primary purpose of VPN na to change ur IP address so that when you enter some kind place the hacker no go fit get access bro your information from your real IP. But if you use the fake VPN you fit go turn victim for help wey you wan help yourself.
227  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Our newbies de ternish Nigeria, image too much for main boards on: March 16, 2024, 08:28:36 PM

Like that guy now, em no go fit miss tag as e don go loose guard like that.u
228  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Latest news in crypto? on: March 16, 2024, 08:17:20 PM
Bitcoin is bullish because its bullish season while the acceptance of ETF as influences it price to surge more even in the bull but the next big thing coming up for bitcoin is the halving next month though I'm still standing with my prediction of seeing a new ATH before halving.

I hope you don't mean the hype from NFTs help bitcoin price to surge before because that's far from it, NFTs was not even built on Bitcoin Network while last year there was an introduction of Ordinal NFTs to the Bitcoin network but this was more of a pest because it allowed spammers to spam the Bitcoin Network and then we were affected by an absurd amount for transaction fee, though now another annoying news trending is the selling of testnet bitcoin which should be absolutely free

ATH before the halving is a done deal, we now have a new ATH at $73k+ while we are not yet in the  experience the halving which is following by price correction and then bull run. So if we have another bull run after the halving, then definitely we have a new ATH other than the one we have one now. Using this theory, those who things investing in Bitcoin is too late and gain hope from there and start accumulating now to partake in the bull that is yet to come.to the op, in my opinion, the reason for the bullish trend we are experiencing now is because of the EFT approval that also got many buyers into the network and that made it more bullish.
229  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My First Experience With Bitcoin on: March 16, 2024, 12:57:16 PM
Op, you have made a good choice to invest in Bitcoin. Bitcoin being the first and the most trusted coin in the crypto network has gained enough reputation due to its genuine nature, and those who have invested for long term can boldly tell that they have benefited from this innovative invention by Satoshi Nakamoto. In Bitcoin investment there is no late time in buying the coin, the mistake some persons make is procrastination. When you ought to buy today and you procrastinate till next week or month, you might miss out some profits, of your aim is to invest for a long duration for like 4,5 or a decade then you might likely get enough profit, all it requires is just patience.

232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most investors keeps off from AltCoins because they're not good crypto analysts. on: March 16, 2024, 12:06:56 PM
Op you are wrong, the fact that some persons don't invest in altcoin doesn't mean they are not good with analysing the price movement. It depends on your choice of preference. While most persons who are into Bitcoin holding deem altcoin investment as trash is because, altcoin investment is also seen as a form of gambling, we have so many scam projects out there that even expert crypto analysts fall for their tricks, so to be on the safer side it's better to maintain one project and make a whole lot of profit out of it, rather than diversifying your funds for investment. And aside personally, the knowledge I have about Bitcoin has given me enough assurance that there are better days still anticipating to come. And reason why most of those projects fail as shitcoin Is because of lack of good management skills but Bitcoin having enough nodes as possible, it's enough reasons to believe that the probability of getting hacked, of failed project Is almost impossible.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When do we expect the altcoin season or has it already started? on: March 16, 2024, 11:55:54 AM
I can't say for sure if the altcoins season has started, but with what we can see from the market today, there is a little pump in the price of altcoins. In the last 24 hours some altcoins has rose to 13%  which is a good sign of bull. However let keep our eyes fixed and watch the market behavior for a while before we conclude that we have arrived at the altcoins bull.

Here are some coins that are having a pump, though this can just be a sideways movement.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Identifying Rewarding Crypto Earning opportunities on: March 16, 2024, 11:35:39 AM
There are lots of airdrops out there that are scams. In fact 70% of the airdrops we see floating around are scams. If you paraventure find the right airdrop, it might take a long period of time before that coin get listed in an exchange, and after all these while we tend to see lots of people complaining how they lost their access to the coins by misplacing mnemonic seed to the wallet their airdrop coin is. Anyone who has benefited from airdrops are those who have patience and are discipline enough to keep their seed phrase in a good condition.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can governments crack down on crypto? on: March 16, 2024, 11:28:47 AM

The Nigerian government recently took a hard stance on crypto, accusing it of contributing to the decline of the naira's value. This resulted in a ban on all crypto exchanges operating within the country [4]. Specifically,

Op you've done a great job in compiling such an interesting post, but however the issue of the Nigerian government and binance did not lead to ban of cryptocurrency. In fact we still have full access to crypto, the only problem was that they suspected that the volume of p2p trade with dollar to naira from binance exchange was very high and that could have lead to the cause of the rapid volatility of the dollar to naira, so binance was asked to stop all p2p transactions with the NGN fiat. However there are still other exchange out there that still have Naira p2p.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies can't surge great height without speculations. on: March 16, 2024, 11:16:50 AM
The major answer to that question bis what we call coin hype by influencers. Most times we fine so many social media influencers over hyping a coin but the truth is that those coins in which they hype are not in any way close to what they are saying. And due to their influence and reputation most of their followers start adopting the coin. Oftentimes those coin can be very profitable while in most cases they are just shitcoins. Aside that, if a whale uses their influence to adopt a coin, of cause that will bring about a global adoption as coins like that tends to experience a rapid pump in price.
237  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Will Nigeria crypto and forex traders ever enjoy liberty?? on: March 16, 2024, 11:06:09 AM
Op within the little time that Binance p2p has stopped working, you have already had problem with Marchants in two exchanges? Is this your personal experience or you are using someone's experience to market bitget exchange? My advice to you is that you should stick to one exchange and stop submitting your information to different exchanges in the name of KYC. You know how bad it is to submit your information in different platforms. If there is information breach you won't know where it's coming from because you have submitted it to different platforms. Let's not take because of bonuses that these exchanges are offering and harm ourselves let's be careful.

This na one solid piece of advice not only to the op but to many others. I understand say as binance disable naira from their p2p and platform many person wey dey use them as first choice exchange they try to find the second best wey go give them that swift user experience and from there plenty people including me don do KYC for more than 2 exchanges since this binance matter start and that truly no dey healthy for our privacy and security. Just as you talk, any information breach fit cause us a lot as Dem fit even use our information take collect loan wey go put egbayse for our head. Anyway Sha, knowledge is better than ignorance, sometimes na due to desperation dey make us forget about our security and privacy.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help me to invest altcoin now on: March 15, 2024, 11:12:15 PM
Actually my advice to is for you to make your investment into Bitcoin network because it's the only coins with that amount of trust and reputation. Bitcoin being the first coin in the cryptocurrency network has over the years gained enough reputation due to its authenticity. Bitcoin is known for long term investment and those who are long term investors and hold Bitcoin for over some years now, can clearly testify of the profit they have gotten from their investment over the years. Due to the limited supply of the coin, the predicted price outcome of Bitcoin is in a bullish trend, though we can experience some bear run that might take a while but, when you zoom out, it becomes clear what Bitcoin has been up to.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any airdrops you are anticipating this year? on: March 15, 2024, 11:01:20 PM
There is no way I can be anticipating for airdrops when these season enough airdrop has been launched and they are all scam. I personally don't believe in airdrops right from the start, even before I became serious in learning about crypto, I have come across so many airdrop that I just tag them all to be scam due to experience from others, and Info I got online. So I just decided to assume I am wrong for a sec and tried out one airdrop, unfortunately the result I got shows that my believe has been correct all these while, because the airdrop later turned out to be scam after reviewing the airdrop online and watching reel of users who had one on participating live. However after those telegram referrals, and depositing your coin on meta mask/ trust wallet they'll request for gas fee to withdraw your airdropped coins and if you fall for it m, your money is gone for good.

So at the end, we have 95% airdrops that are scam while the remaining ones are genuine. If you must use an airdrop ensure you don't send money for any purpose, because you cannot be paying money to someone who wants to gift you money.
240  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Don't be De-motivated By the current faith in Cryptocurrency in Nigeria on: March 15, 2024, 06:16:21 PM
Who give up naim loose guard oo, because las las na you go regret why you give up for this small issue. Besides na just binance naim our government don focus for this period and we hope make e no spread to other exchange. But even if binance no come back again other exchange dey wey you fit use take swap your fiat to coin or vice versa. And the main thing na besay, we get very secure wallets to save our fund so make this binance exchange matter no discourage you to forget say p2p still dey alive, if you get trusted vendor, you no go get any issue even when things get as e be, na only rates naim go low.
