221  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What people some people don't know about trading on: April 18, 2024, 07:22:17 PM
I have seen where people say trading is a quick to get money.

But I see it differently. Rather, trading is a place that shows those who work hard, put in consistency and are ready to learn and those who think they can outsmart their way in.

Those who earn massively in trading are those who have dedicated 1-2 years of their time to learning a particular skill to perfection.

So, how can you earn 50-1000k like them if you didn't put in the work?
If I should answer any question concerning quick money mindset and trade then I will agree with this mindset. Comparing trade and hold you'll definitely find out people earn quick with trade than hold, since this is not the point here, trading need a little time to learn the basics skills involved and not just learn but you sacrifice a lot of money during the process. Aside from lose, acquiring trading knowledge requires money, I know a lot of newly traders who spend money on weekly tutorials just to acquire trading knowledge. My advice for people with this mindset is nothing comes so easy, successful traders sacrificed a lot and I'm sure whenever they share stories about their trading experience they will never forget to mention the struggles involved. Definitely trading render benefit like the quick money profit compared to hold but the only discouragement here is the loss but I learnt a principal about earning; you can't earn without giving out so any experience I get right now is just a lesson and correction
222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever Projected how to spend gambling profits while the game has not played yet? on: April 18, 2024, 02:48:31 PM
This is actually funny and disappointing, why will anyone want to hope on something they've not seen or something difficult like gambling, there's a difference between mere joke and faith like I believe your friend had so much faith to some extend he had to promise for celebration, this is strange.
I believe most gamblers who sold out their properties for gambling had same faith as this, let's be realistic there's nothing like 100% accuracy or full confidence when placing a bet but people don't want to listen

No one can deny that they do not have this type of thoughts in their heads especially when they are damn sure of the game. When I have these sketchy plans of what to do with my gambling profits it is not buying something massive like as house, a car or business but to spend it on having a good time.
of course gamblers do have this thought but I can't express full confidence to such extend, gamblers really need to change this thought cause gambling can't be predicted fully so what will happen next if we never get to win the game we had high hopes on. Winning is fun and exciting especially gamble wins that come unexpected but it should not be taken for granted as we should maintain self control
223  Economy / Economics / Re: The collapse of central banks...Inevitable? on: April 18, 2024, 01:08:11 PM
At this point central banks don't care about the well being of a country neither the inflation, they work together with federal government so fiat system will stand firmly regardless the allegations. Concerning fiat and bitcoin or bitcoin standing as a digital currency can't beat the economy inflation neither, from my opinion bitcoin don't necessary need the crowd before we can say bitcoin is the best. If bitcoin is working for you as an investor, trader, business man etc then create a comfort zone for your investment. When I hear bitcoin taking over the fiat currency I believe it will not happen, bitcoin adoption is not forcefully but willingly so for example if fiat currency no longer exist we can't impose bitcoin adoption on citizens. Just imagine the world use bitcoin as number one currency (legal tender)and you think people will not still complain? people will always find fault no matter the situation
224  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you feel that the global economy is declining? on: April 18, 2024, 12:28:23 PM
One of my colleagues told me that his salary is lower now than it was five years ago. Sadly, the price of goods is rising.
No doubts, underdeveloped countries suffer from such situation but I think the world economy has not gotten to this, how do you expect people to live comfortable if citizens salaries keep decreasing. The only situation I've seen is lack of development and citizens battling with fixed salary despite the inflation. These are common reasons poverty rate keep increasing in an underdeveloped country, price of goods rising is a problem cause when there's lack of productivity and inadequate resources to produce goods it becomes a burden to the nation. The limitation of food supply can build inflation so fast, if countries facing such problem manage to get limitless production of goods etc, the inflation rate will definitely reduce. Lack of all this things can contribute to a poor economy cause you can't expect a country that's dependent on crude oil, cocoa farm etc to perform accurate without the necessary resources.

To know about economy power, DGP is used. Go and read more about GDP to know what it is.

About Nigeria, the GDP the country has in 2014 which was almost $570 billion. It was $441 in 2021. $477 in 2022. $390 in 2023. According to Wikipedia, it has decreased more significantly in 2024.
Yeah, GDP can be use to measure the economy power and GDP is the most common cause it gives information about domestics product only like within but if talking about GNP we're including both domestic and foreign.
225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The effect Nigeria ban on Binance P2P traders on: April 17, 2024, 10:56:55 PM
What impact does Nigeria's ban have on P2P traders on Binance?
P2P transaction disruption: As a result of Binance's  suspension, traders who depend on the platform for their transactions have experienced inconveniences.Loss of access to Binance: A lot of users have complained about being unable to access their cash or trade using the Binance website or app.Impact on the Nigerian crypto community: Many traders are looking into alternate platforms for their transactions as a result of the restriction, which has produced anxiety and uncertainty in the country's crypto ecosystem.Situation escalation: There are now calls for Binance and other cryptocurrency exchanges to be completely banned due to worries about regulatory compliance and the effect on the Naira.
These have made things extremely difficult for P2P traders in Nigeria. One of the biggest concerns at this point is how it would impact the nation's reputation. Effect on the image of Niger:  The ban would harm Nigeria's standing as one of the biggest cryptocurrency markets in the world because it might be interpreted as a punitive step that would discourage traders from visiting the nation.
The big question remains what are the Alternatives?
This is actually an old information but I guess you're just coming newly. Binance is not the only exchange and this issue has been discussed several times in our local board, if I'm not mistaken users listed different kinds of exchange that can help with your crypto p2p transactions, currently Nigerians still trade crypto using different kinds of exchange. I see nothing related with Nigeria crypto reputation and the ban, at first a lot of Nigerians felt disappointed cause almost all crypto enthusiast make use of Binance but this cannot stop us from trading p2p as there's always an alternative in every situation
226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do casinos do with inactive accounts? on: April 17, 2024, 11:48:36 AM
Not all casino will act same way when dealing with inactive accounts, from my thought not all casino will inform an inactive user about their account been deleted likewise the fee. I still don't understand the fee from an inactive account cause when there's no money how do you charge for fee or when there's no service rendered there's no point demanding for fees. I don't think an inactive user will leave a dime in an inactive account. The moment a user is called inactive such user is no longer interested or the user have seen another service
227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling: Modern entertainment or highly addictive game? on: April 17, 2024, 11:06:48 AM
I enjoy online gambling, it's more preferable from my experience besides online casino is stressfree and you can actually gamble at work, home etc. Addiction will definitely come home or away like online casino or land casino if the gambler fails to control their emotions, if a gambler feel the need to stake more just because it has to do with online and not physical then I disagree. I took some time observing few gamblers in my locality and I observed this habit common among themselves they never get ashame gambling more and more, so I think both online and traditional gambling can build up an addict quickly. Preventing gambling addiction just depend on the gambler and how they react to different bet.
228  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥 HugeWin.com Presents Mega Jackpot and Bonus Deals for Casino Lovers 🔥🔥 on: April 17, 2024, 10:18:41 AM
Hugewin.com does not load from Tor browser to me.

I can confirmed this, it's not loading on my end as well from Tor browser,

Perhaps it was not designed to run under Tor?
this seems to happen to everyone who uses the tor browser. Maybe later the developer will notice and make a few updates so that it can run on all browsers including Tor.

For now, if there is a problem with a country blocking the Hugewin website, you can just use a VPN alternative. I think that is also the choice of players whose access to gambling is restricted by the local government.
Almost some browsers face same problem, accessing hugewin is difficult but you can always switch to other browsers till the issue is rectify, I had similar issue and I thought the issue is coming from my device. The issue with browsers and site has to do with privacy and trust, not all browsers are trusted browsers from my opinion so this is likely a restriction.
Concerning the location people who find themselves in such area, it's a good idea using the help of VPN to prioritize their privacy. I have not experience such issue like this for now but if any problem comes up concerning hugewin site and location I think VPN can help
229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: After losing the money in gambling, what is your strategy on: April 16, 2024, 09:11:06 PM
Now he had decided to start the gambling again with the loan money to balance the previous loss of 2000$.What is your opinion on this,I had suggested him to go to the regular job to reduce the loan in step by step to reduce the loan burden. But he had word of “We can earn,Where we had loss everything “.Share your opinion on this.
Why will anyone want to earn using gambling and think of different kinds of strategy. Taking a loan to bet is not necessary and the worst part about your friend is he/she came up with a different mindset of earning. Your friend in question never sat down to reason why he/she can't resist the urge to gamble, honestly speaking addiction is just too overbearing cause the rate we see and hear about people selling their properties, owing debt is strange. I don't think your friend will want to quit gambling sooner or later, preaching against gambling can't really help, I have seen people with different kinds of aim and your aim determines your action so if such person want to earn from gambling then the person might likely turn to an addict. An addict will Always have the mindset of playing over and over despite their budget, this is the actually reason most people will think wealthy gamblers earn more compared to others cause they're always self disciplined. The moment your friend exhibit the habit of self disciplined when gambling he/she will  learn to control the act
230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Isn't Altcoin a distraction to Bitcoin adoption? on: April 16, 2024, 08:06:36 PM
This begs the question, what if we had only Bitcoin? Wouldn't the level of adoption outgrow what it currently is at the moment?
I sincerely don't believe cause people will always make their choice different from others, bitcoin adoption will increase with or without altcoins. Nowadays people still dislike bitcoin so if I'm not mistaken op is trying to say people who don't like bitcoin is as a result of altcoins. In the investing aspect investors choose to invest in both bitcoin and altcoins mostly bitcoin, let's be realistic bitcoin is the center of attraction and as a center of attraction bitcoin should not be compared with altcoins

Do you think that altcoin is a major distraction to bitcoins adoption?
When something is referred as a distraction just as op made mentioned of altcoins standing as a distraction it simply means altcoin is the center of attraction and I disagree. People who actually run after altcoins know the entanglement and benefit involved so I see no excuse blaming altcoin projects using the name of bitcoin, firstly bitcoin is a top choice, totally different from other altcoins. Bitcoin adoption is okay from my opinion and I don't understand why altcoins will stand as a distraction cause there's no distraction at the first place.
maybe you're just making a vague statement here and aren't getting the point so well. I'm never trying to make any comparison between Bitcoin and any other altcoin cause in the first place thier isn't any comparison at all. Bitcoin had an ATH of $73k that's obviously 7× what any altcoin have ever attained and even the few ones that gained value over time all went up under the shades of Bitcoin. What I'm talking about is that because of the way the society mistake Bitcoin as just one of the cryptocurrency, whenever someone invest in an altcoin that fails with time, it somehow sends a wrong signal to the whole crypto ecosystem and you have different people that wouldn't even dream of investing into Bitcoin because they know someone that lost his investment in a shit project and thereby drawing the conclusion that Bitcoin is same as those altcoins. Some even make the mistake of holding on to altcoins that can't stand the test of time thinking that by so doing, they will be able have similar worth that comes from investing in Bitcoin.

It's never a shift of blame of any sort but just a statement of fact that altcoin in one way or the other is a distraction to Bitcoin adoption in some sense.
I get what you're trying to say besides you've listed out the features of bitcoin including the ATH. We still have people like this in our society and I can relate with similar issue when it comes to the internet, for example people make use of the internet everyday for different purpose like scam, acquire knowledge etc. Even if a lot of people get scammed using the internet people will still make use of the internet regardless like you'll definitely see massive numbers of internet users. People who experience such situation like scam can still decide never to make use of the internet, you made mentioned of altcoins and bitcoin so I'm trying to understand with what I've seen. Mistaking both bitcoin and altcoins can be done by newly investors but there's always room for learning, if people with this impression can learn and differentiate both investment choice I see no problem. From the past to present bitcoin adoption keeps increasing and increasing. Altcoins can't distract the growth of bitcoin adoption as seen currently, if you actually feel bitcoin adoption rate is low then that's your opinion. The creation of different kinds of Altcoins will still increase so it's best we accept the fact
231  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: When investing in Bitcoin, don't forget to invest in your health on: April 16, 2024, 02:57:42 PM
Dear op, with all due respect wetin Mate2237 write na correct one. This advice no too dey necessary cause if me and you no dey healthy we for no dey net wetin I dey try talk be say every body know say health na wealth so no be new thing. I believe say everybody dey learn and issues like this don come for English board concerning health and bitcoin investment wetin suppose come first but nothing really connect both. A good health is everything but when there's no money to maintain all this healthy tips na when problem start. I actually learnt something new during a health program I attended, not every time the body system need medicine like our common paracetamol for headache and other tablets but natural foods can help as well eg fruits.

common malaria we be normal thing to us, dy kill most people on a daily basis, but that one no mean say because God dy, we no go take  our health very serious, so in essence, make we take our health very serious, because na only wen we dy sound we fit enjoy anything wey we get from our Bitcoin investment.
Malaria is not a common sickness and according to history malaria killed a lot of people during the early age but currently  everything looks modernise with different kinds of treatment and therapy. Malaria is a deadly disease and if not treated proper it might lead to something else. Anything that has to do with health is not common cause even the slightest headache can kill.

233  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: using social wallets on: April 16, 2024, 11:39:30 AM
Similar issue has been raised in my local board and the best is stay away from social wallets, using telegram wallet sound strange cause we hear alot of scam experience and it seems telegram promote such act, the most important advice when dealing with wallet and storing of cryptocurrencies I will give is never trust a third party, from my view I can't differentiate both online scam and a third party wallet. Aside a good wallet the crypto space has alot of safety measures but firstly your wallet choice determines your foundation,  even with the right wallet choice an investor can still decide to go astray except such person don't pay attention to online scam. Don't play risky game with your investment and it's good you ask questions first
234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has this ever happened to you as a gambler? on: April 15, 2024, 09:54:21 PM
At this point people should learn to respect the act called gambling, I see why most people paint gambling as bad cause they fail to control themselves. I will judge such act as an addiction, gambling addiction is just too tough to handle that's why most people can't resist the force attach, a gambler ought to plan a budget and should not exceed the plan. I have never heard of such situation and I will not doubt cause the rate we see gambling addiction increasing daily is surprising, I hate hearing issues like this when a gambler sacrifice he/her property or sell properties just to satisfy an addiction that has to do with bet (unpredictable). Gamble addict need to exhibit self control so it can enable them save or investment for the future

[edited out]
I agree with you a lot Princess but I don’t agree with you about shitcoins not having a future, the way you sound right now makes me believe you think all other coins aside Bitcoin are shitcoins.

It is best to presume all other coins besides bitcoin are shitcoins, and you should approach them from that perspective... Don't give shitcoins any kind of benefit of the doubt, but instead consider them as affinity scams on bitcoin and full of overstatements that are merely playing off of bitcoin.

Sure there may well be exceptions to the rule, but it is hardly worth any time to be fucking around with them,. even though there might be some shitcoins that actually have some possible value... and you might even get yourself into worse shape if you try to value them based on their having high market caps, so then you get distracted into a bunch of nonsense and wasting your time, money and energies, when you should be spending that time, money and energies getting your shit together in regards to your bitcoin strategy.

Yeah, once you might get your shit together in regards to bitcoin, then perhaps at that point, you will have more liberty to "look into" various shitcoins, and perhaps by the time you actually look at bitcoin, you will actually come to realize that it is not worth your time to be fucking around with those various distracting bells and whistles that may or may not pump at the time you would like them to.

Anyhow, the punchline is to presume shitcoins really are shitcoins and don't waste your time on them, even if you like gambling, but if you cannot resist gambling then limit your gambling to 10%.. but yeah, degenerate gamblers are not able to limit themselves, so they just argue that all shitcoins are not shitty, so they are already approaching the matter from the wrong perspective which truly should be to presume that shitcoins are a waste of time, money and energies that could be better spent on focusing on bitcoin.
I don't think people will want to play with their money in our generation today mostly when it comes to investment choice. There's no two ways about it call a spade a spade is perfect just like shitcoins so there's no much argument. Even if these shitcoins has proven 100% it's still advisable to avoid investing, from my view shitcoins only attract people who want to make fast profit so at first they might look nice for investment and at the end they end up misbehaving as usual. Just as every learning process implies little or big it's best to learn the needful first and I believe the needful is bitcoin. JJG has said it all don't let shitcoins mislead you to an extend you start hype shitcoins or shitcoins should not stand as an obstacle when it comes to making right investment (bitcoin) choice
236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: April 14, 2024, 09:44:00 PM
Today is just a day of miracles... Grin First, Liverpool lost to an underdog... Then Arsenal also lost at home to Villa... By the way, in all three matches the guests won... Of course it's all a strange coincidence and now Man City are top of the standings... Grin I think they will be there until the end of the season...
Shocking results been recorded today, how do we explain how two competitive clubs loss. First it was Liverpool losing 1 nil against Crystal Palace at Anfield, the same ground they lost 3 nil to Atalanta last week. Secondly we witnessed Arsenal been thrashed 2-0 and Aston Villa steal the glory tray, this is no good news for Mikel Arteta and Jurgen Klopp. While its a glorious moment for Manchester City, they're parading as champs, it is another golden opportunity for Pep Guardiola to win the EPL title and him and his team will ensure they're strong enough to win.
Arsenal will not be able to win the title this season from what I watched, I don't know if the fault started from the changes but I don't think Arsenal can win anymore with such performance if only they continue like this. Liverpool also lost at Anfield surprising, I never expected the poor performance from both teams but the amazing part is how did Crystal Palace manage to defeat Liverpool, what will happen next or it's likely we might see Manchester city winning the title this season again.

238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling A Hobby? on: April 11, 2024, 09:16:17 PM
From my view gambling is a hobby, people gamble for the fun and anytime we hear a hobby related issue our mind will definitely go for the fun. The fact most people don't value the fun part of gambling but rather they go for winning always you see them angry and frowning just because they never won the bet. A gambler can see gambling always as a hobby till when it turns to an addiction, not everyone can maintain self control and from my view a hobby can be your favorite thing like what you love doing always so gambling as a hobby can be so risky.
239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: April 11, 2024, 07:48:00 PM
I doubt that Arsenal can win this round, indeed both teams still have the same chance, but in the next match Arsenal will face Munich away, of course this will make Arsenal feel pressured and I'm not sure that even if Arsenal uses all their strength, Munich will also do the same thing, let alone competing at home will make Munich more confident to win.

Looking down too much on this present Arsenal team is not something we should be discussing about. They’ve just proven to the whole world that they are also good and cannot be beaten like the did to the previous Arsenal team that had the last encounter with Bayern Munich. Just like they played and held Bayern Munich to a draw, so they will even play better in order to get a victory in the end. I am not certain which team will win in this match because of the quality of both teams but I believe they’ll all play great and try to win in which the better team will win.
To me I don't feel that people are looking down on Arsenal just that due to previous seasons that people trusted Arsenal to a certain stage and they started flopping and losing out. Arsenal tried to play draw with Bayern Munich but we all saw that Arsenal could have won had it been they added more effort in the game but however, Arsenal performance recently is convincible because they have maintained a good form for a long time now so they are expected to win a trophy this season if they maintain in this impressive display.
They might win under probability, I don't see the need judging Arsenal from their previous performance last season besides they're doing great this season compared to last season. During last season Arsenal left the race so quick, they never struggled but rather they made everything look so easy for city boys, we can all agree Arsenal will not just back off so easily. From my view I expected more from Arsenal during the champion league match against Bayern, for crying out loud Arsenal made a big mistake drawing the match against Bayern at Emirates. If Arsenal never get the chance to defeat Bayern at Allianz they might face the premier league with so much force and energy cause it will be so embarrassing if Arsenal never get to win a tittle this season

From the start crypto space need proper learning make you dey sure wetin you dey do or wetin you don arrange your mind to investment, investment no too require stress unlike trade but as op talk am money go definitely dey in order to archive the goal. Aside investment person need work wey fit sustain the investment for long term, from my opinion the most valuable advice I pick out na Knowledge. Knowledge is important cause when you know wetin you dey do person no fit deceive you like the crypto scam we hear, people can decide to fall cause when they hear money things don change so money and knowledge dey work together. Sometimes if you ask for reasons why someone will fall into the hands of scammers you go see say na money cause am, planning and goal setting, everyone wey dey into crypto get target with planning terms. The advice dey valid
