221  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's your view on abortion? on: March 15, 2024, 05:48:58 PM
For me, abortion is a terrible thing and an act of murder, but sometimes people don't have an option but to have a kid because they are either not ready or incapable to care for one.  This is especially true for women who are immature or already have other children and do not wish to have any more, possibly due to financial reasons. While some claim that abortions have some consequences, as we all know in this world, anything that has an advantage has a drawback. Even if they are to use contraception, it still has a disadvantage because it may harm the woman's womb or cause illness, among other things. So I suggest that everyone should or the government should provide where women could go and learn sex education, and all that.
222  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What do you think about the freedom of speech in the USA? on: March 15, 2024, 05:18:51 PM
I think it is both a consequence of the policies of Google and also the policies if the United States government. It is a very difficult problem from them to tackle, because most of the Pro-Putin propaganda could contain important amounts of misinformation, they do not want misinformation to spread in the west so they choose to take those channels and videos down their platform, it is an approach which seeks to keep people in the USA away from that propaganda in detriment of the Russian people access to YouTube. For Google and the USA, it is more important the public in their country to stay in their side and the public opinion to be pro-Ukraine.

I don't completely agree with that strategy, though. I think any kind of content is supposed to be allowed there when comes to news and politics, let people to debate and collide their ideas. You must also keep in mind that the free of speech does not apply to users of private companies, like Google, Facebook, Amazon, etc. if the government of the United States was the owner of YouTube, then they would be forced to respect the first amendment rights of the users (at least those who reside in the USA or are American citizens).

I did not know about the Kremlin's plan to block YouTube, by the way, but does not surprise me at all.

One attainable answer would be to establish an open and responsible verification process. This might include separate sets that check the correctness of information and news items, as well as explicit labeling of content to indicate whether it has been confirmed or not. This would provide individuals access to a variety of perspectives while also providing an approach to verify the integrity of the material they're reading or watching. It's a complex subject with no simple solution, but I believe it's necessary to find a method to combine liberty of choice with the need for reliable and accurate information.
223  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Things you see in the society on: March 15, 2024, 05:09:06 PM
The society is a very busy place. A place where you can find all kind of answers to life there are to learn from the society it depends on the part you choose to trade on.
We have different religions. Christianity, Islamic, and traditional out of these three religions it's your choice to choose the one you want but today what we do today is to criticize another person's choice no one is the best let everyone choose theirs nobody has made your choice for you if you are happy remain there but if it does not you are free to try another way as this life is not a perfect one we will all make mistake and learn from it,the wise ones rise from their mistakes.

We also have the peer group an example is the cultism. Older people see those in this group as arrogant, violence, naughty, notorious and many more names to describe them. They are mostly the young people called the youths they are the people you can mostly see in this group many people disgust this group while some people to them it's an interesting game
But like I said earlier the part you choose determines where you go so let everyone choose theirs.

Another

To me, the term of emerging from mistakes implies that we accept accountability for what we did and learn from them. It is not an indication that we have to be faultless or that we never make mistakes. It is about accepting while studying from our mistakes. Sometimes this involves confessing our mistakes and apologizing to individuals we may have affected. But it additionally involves taking the time to think on what went wrong and how we can improve in the future. In other words, we should not focus on our mistakes, but rather use them to grow and improve ourselves.

225  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The danger of gender inequality on: March 15, 2024, 06:21:28 AM
The gender imbalance can have a severe impact on both men and women, leading to emotions of feeling unsafe, dissatisfaction, and even physical and sexual assault. Women confront difficulties in terms of participation in positions of authority such as government and industry, and their interests are not always taken into account, which can lead to harassment and unequal treatment. And women are thought to be only designed to be at home, either as housewives or as persons who are incapable of leadership and should instead focus on their families. That is why in the olden days, even now, in some groups of people, women don't attend to school, because they are considered as people who don't have value or can't offer anything in her father's house. So they refused to pay more attention to them, whereas some males face inequity, particularly if they come from a poor family or do not have a good reputation.
226  Other / Politics & Society / Re: RISK TAKERS ARE GREAT MAKERS on: March 15, 2024, 05:56:33 AM
Taking risks generally demands a lot of courage. It can be frightening to step into something unfamiliar and encounter the risk of failure. People who can overcome their fear and take chances, on the other hand, are more likely to make a difference in the world. I believe that courage is an essential feature for everybody who wishes to achieve great things. Being brave isn't always easy, but it's generally rewarding in the end. So, risk-taking can have profound advantages beyond the individual; when someone takes a risk and succeeds, it can motivate others to do the same and develop alternatives that are beneficial to everyone.
227  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Flood the natural disaster on: March 15, 2024, 05:39:41 AM
Floods are disasters caused by nature with negative consequences. It may also result in deaths, destruction of property, and other implications. It can spread illness caused by water such as cholera, malaria, and typhoid through mosquito bites, which can take time to recover from. So we need to notify people before the flood strikes, or better yet, build structures or areas where water will discharge. These advances can assist reduce the amount of water that enters the drainage ditches while also improving the condition of the water. Although certain floods are caused by humans, such as rainforest and a faulty sewage system, we are asked to take measures to reduce the effects of flooding on society.

It's also worth mentioning that there are several other challenges to using cryptocurrencies in developing countries. For example, many countries have significant price increases, which causes the value of cryptocurrencies to differ substantially. This may make it harder for users to use cryptocurrencies in everyday operations.

The way to use Crypto is P2P, once you take away the centralized crypto there are only a few left of the around 30K of coins.
Where there is an internet you can use Crypto, P2P does not require much bandwidth.

If you wish to use crypto just convince the shop to take the coin you like to promote/use.
Many shop owners have a pretty good idea what to do with values.

The biggest improvement for People, especially in the 3rd World, is the way to store value.
A wallet makes it possible to leave the world of cash.
There are a few possible barriers to the widespread adoption of cryptocurrency as a payment mechanism. One issue is that many people still don't understand how it works or how to use it. Another possibility is that certain governments may see it as a danger to their control over the economy and financial system, and may attempt to restrict or even prohibit it outright. Practical difficulties include the volatility of cryptocurrency pricing and the difficulty of converting into regular currencies.
229  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Waste of resources at parents disrupting their children dreams for self interest on: March 14, 2024, 07:28:07 PM
A girl I know who is just 18 years old has an inborn skills of fashion and designing such as Hairstylist and the Dressmaking. This has been her dreams to make it a reality but her parents are ignorantly trying to stop her from achieving this dream instead they wants her to go to the university and acquires degree.
Now that she is being forced by her parents at what she doesn't have desires for, her obsession towards her passionate dreams would definitely not let her concentrate on her studies as she keep grumbling that she would dropout of the school somedays if her parents persists she must go to the university.
The parents reason is that they wanted all their children to be degree holders but yet the graduated ones whom had obtained their own degrees could not yet boost that the acquired degrees has offered them high graded personalities neither has they been able to secure the white collar jobs with it instead they still returns back to the streets of labour markets struggling to make better life without the requirement of degrees.
Due to the side of the World we are, if you are not surrounded with high-profile persons for recommendations then the probability of gaining a prominent job with your degree would be difficult at the range of 95% impossible.

This little girl insighted the sceneros and then decided to manage her time, utilizes every moments of it in a productive exercise, safe her parents some expenses pertaining her university expenditures at her decisions to make a different that is why she chooses to go through fashion studies to enhance and advance the skills of her dreams

So I think it would be waste of time, finances and efforts of her parents insisting that she must go through the university because she doesn't see her stars shining over there, no desires and no Passions for it at all.
And so I think she would be more utilizing, productive with a better quality and creative person if she is privileged to chase after that or dreams.

If the daughter has a responsibility to attend university, she may put in little effort and gain little from the experience. In addition, she may develop hatred toward her parents for pushing her to do something she does not want to do. This might compromise their connection and make potential partnerships tough. It is also likely that the daughter will drop out of university, resulting in a wasted input of time and money. So it's a really responsive circumstances, with advantages and disadvantages for both sides.
A possible alternative answer is to compromise and let the daughter pursue her interest.
230  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Poverty change people on: March 14, 2024, 10:51:15 AM
When people become estranged and abandoned, it becomes even more difficult to leave poverty. Poverty can also lead to hopelessness, increasing the likelihood that people will participate in dangerous or unlawful behaviors in order to survive. It can also lead to poor psychological well-being unless they are assisted by the government or other individuals by providing job opportunities and a sense of belonging. The community can also assist by providing a range of amenities such as food distributions, financial education classes, medical care at no cost for all, including infant care; with all of these, we have truly helped in some way. Poverty is not something to be in because it can impact someone's mood and worldview. While some die from it, as they say, poverty is a disease. So, the only way to prevent having a bad impact on our society, including our family, is to assist them in developing skills or doing anything else that will benefit them and lift them out of poverty.
231  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Raising children in this current society on: March 14, 2024, 08:54:43 AM
There is this popular saying that most children born around the year 2000 down are rude. As insensitive as it may sound,  it is actually true. The rate of moral decadence in our society today is alarming and parents need to be intentional in parenting. Parenting is a very big task which must not be neglected.  If you don't inculcate into the children the right values at their tender age, they will learn by themselves from social media or strangers and they might learn the wrong  thing.

Parents are working tirelessly to put food on the table and make name for themselves too in the society.  While they are at it, they tend to delegate their parental responsibilities to maids, relatives,  teachers and even strangers.  Giving room for the children to learn and know things they are not supposed to know.

Parents should take breaks from their busy schedule and social media too to rescue their children and the next generation at large.  Teach the children the right values now or you will never have the opportunity to do it later.

You are completely accurate; parenting is an important obligation that should not be handled lightly. Parenting is more than just putting food on the table, dressing them, and providing the finest education possible; it is also about keeping an eye on them, knowing how they are living their lives, what they are capable of, and what they like and dislike. Knowing who those around them are is also important since they may be connected to their fellow students at school or church, which can be an advantage and a curse at the same time. There is a lot of pressure to fit in and be cool, and it can be difficult for youngsters to resist because they want to be included and do what everyone else is doing. So all of this might be a difficult time for the parents. So that's why we're often told to "train up a child in the way he should go, so that when they grow up, they won't depart."
232  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How do you handle borrowers? on: March 14, 2024, 08:31:42 AM
Lenders must be sensitive and understanding, but they must also exercise vigilance to prevent reckless borrowing. I believe it are essential for lenders to have rules and processes in place for dealing with these circumstances, and to properly express them to borrowers. This way, everyone knows what to expect, therefore there are no disappointments. On the contrary, by working with borrowers to find a way out, lenders can assist them get back on schedule and avoid skipping; however, some borrowers will keep breaking the regulations and rules, thereby causing problems.
233  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Corruption enlarges when politicians uses the citizens for disruptive tools. on: March 13, 2024, 05:33:45 PM
This has been the problems of our dear society, citizens has been seen as an instrument to cause havoc in their surroundings and country at large, the politicians are the problem we are facing today in our society, these people come to the locality during electioneering period to manipulate the mind of those they feel that the can use to achieve whatever they want through violence, in some west African countries during election period they people that lose their life are very much and this in reverse has prompt unwillingness in the citizen not to vote for their favourite candidates in different levels, things needed to be done right and the time is now but it will only be done collectively and harmoniously.

Yes, you are accurate that politicians frequently abuse people's emotions for political gain. It's not meant to be that way because it's as if we don't have a choice anymore, as if we don't know our rights as humans, so it's very important that we learn or teach our youth about our privileges and duties as citizens, which is why civic education in schools is important, as is encouraging them to get involved in their local areas and take an active role in solving whatever issues they see around them. It is equally extremely important to vote in elections, even if the system appears to be ineffective. Because voting allows citizens to decide to make use of their your voices and to be heard and contribute to a brighter tomorrow for Nigeria.
234  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Religion for help us but na we no wan face am the right way. on: March 13, 2024, 05:17:23 PM
Religion is supposed to be a personal thing, a tool to guide individual's character, which should be unconnected to politics. Unfortunately, we tend to mix religion with politics, thereby creating religious supremacy that has complicated our plural society instead of making it better.

I don't think religion has helped us so much in Nigeria, there are people even thinking that for the case of Nigeria, religion is being used as another form of colonialism because people are more loyal to their religion than their country and even humanity.

What we need is total reorientation to enable us know that our greatest responsibility is to humanity. We can't continue to experience religious multiplicity when our humanity is depreciating.

Yea, you are actually right. Well, I believe that one of the most important items we can do is encourage spiritual tolerance and understanding. This involves understanding about many religions and respecting their views, even if we disagree with them. We should also attempt to comprehend the background and circumstances of religious conflicts so that we may see how they arose and how they can be addressed. Furthermore, we need to provide areas where individuals of many religions may come together and share their experiences and viewpoints. This has been going on in Nigeria for a long time, and something needs to change. People should not be more committed to religion than to their country or humankind.

238  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why people mostly fail in trading on: March 13, 2024, 12:00:30 PM
One of the greatest things that new traders can do is focus to create a strong trading plan and sticking to it. This means establishing clear entry and exit methods, setting stop-loss orders, and managing risk successfully. It's also important to be controlled and not let feelings affect decisions. It can be helpful to keep a journal of your trading activities to monitor achievement as well as recognize any aspects that need improvement.
239  Economy / Economics / Re: Insurance is important on: March 13, 2024, 09:29:46 AM
Insurance is important for several reasons. First, it offers financial stability in the event of an unexpected occurrence, such as illness, accident, or death. Second, it can serve to alleviate poverty by providing a layer of protection for people who are unable to work due to illness or injury, as well as promote job creation by encouraging people to take chances and participate in education and business ownership. It will also lower the cost of delivering social services, such as healthcare and education, by sharing the risk among a large number of individuals. Helping people explain the benefits of insurance will be beneficial to everyone.

For example, many countries have significant price increases, which causes the value of cryptocurrencies to differ substantially. This may make it harder for users to use cryptocurrencies in everyday operations. Furthermore, several countries have unpredictable power systems, making it impossible to generate cryptocurrencies or organize nodes on the blockchain. These are some of the obstacles that must be overcome before cryptocurrency can truly take off in poor countries.
Furthermore, many people in poor countries lack internet connectivity or smartphones, preventing them from accessing or using cryptocurrencies.
