221  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do long term holding profitable in all cases? on: November 08, 2019, 06:39:31 AM
OP,first of all you need to forget the peak value of a coin you are holding, just remember what is the price of that coin when you bought it,if its still $1300 then you need to hold it longer or you bought it before that peak price which may near your current price then you are not really in any serious loss but you were just regretting about your missed profits.Yes in all cases it is not going to be profitable but if you have time frame of more than 3 years then chances are high.
222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How we can introduce bitcoin to local people on: November 07, 2019, 05:43:34 PM
To be honest, they will think that we are trying to scam them with unknown terms to them which will be the first reaction for someone who never heard about bitcoin yet.But we may convince them with your success stories of crypto if they are really close to you.

And social media could be the best way other than meeting them personally and teach them everything, just post things related to cryptos in your profile then surely they will come up and ask you about this or they might do their own reasearch.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Inviting Do Away With The Investment Part First on: November 07, 2019, 01:35:30 PM
If you are going to successfully invite people to look at Cryptocurrency, you should Do Away With The Investment Part First
the first thing is to explain how it was created and the creator's idea, why it was created and what are the benefits
if you make the investment part first chances are people will look at it as a Ponzi Scheme and they will shun it.
I don't think inviting people is the right way to advertise a project from this how many investors will agree to invest on a project?

They should advertise in more effective way which may cost a lot depends on what platform they choose to advertise it.

Anyway if someone see huge discounts on the price which may induce a feel of getting scam,so the value should be realistic.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good projects/hard to reach softcap on: November 07, 2019, 12:50:34 PM
Few good projects i have seen are having hard time to gather funds, they are still far behind to reaching their target softcap
1. Bitwings
2. EZ365

What do you have in mind about these two project? they are good enough to give a try for me, what do you say?
If these projects were good enough to convince the investors to invest on their project then they may not be having hard time reaching their soft cap.Or people totally lose interest on investing on new projects due to shits happening for more than 2 years now.If you want to try then its more like a gamble to me since if they didn't reach their soft cap you wasted your money on investing those project which could be invested on somewhere more conservative and made few profits.
225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Scarcity is one of the leading factors of Bitcoins value on: November 07, 2019, 12:23:48 PM
Yes if smallest unit of bitcoin is one bitcoin but that not really true since 1 bitcoin can be further divided into 100,000,000 sats so what if we convert 21,000,000 bitcoins into sats then it will be 2,100,000,000,000,000 sats which is more than enough even if everyone using bitcoin as their only currency for every payment they make so less number of bitcoin units is not the only reason for price to be hiked.
226  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of banking industry in blockchain on: November 07, 2019, 09:25:18 AM
Bank can transfer faster but not the same with how faster using bitcoin and altcoin, if bank adopting with blockchain technology we can transfer money to other country just few second, if using bank transfer we need more than one day for receiving money to other country, but not possible if bank want to adopt blockchain technology because bitcoin and altcoin not have stable coin price.
First you need to understand that anyone can implement blockchain technology for their services like transaction which is irrelavant to the prices of coins.Banks started using blockchain technology for transaction but not for every transaction, maybe for their internal transactions they were using,it is not going to affect the crypto currency in any way which also using same blockchain technology.

i wrote to the support of cex.io and bitpanda and they replied to me that they support only regular sepa transfer, not instant.. please really on the biggest bitcoin forum in the world there is no one who can answer my question?
I suggest you to move this thread to Exchanges child board where more people related to this service will be active so you will get your answer.
230  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you have to sell bitcoin to an alt, so... on: November 06, 2019, 08:46:38 AM
Describing a shitcoin varies from person to person. An alt that made you good money doesn't mean that it's a promising one. So please be honest, and if you ever have to sell your btc, what would you buy with them?

My first vote to Monero, for privacy reasons. Fuk ZEC and its "optional privacy" which is NOT a privacy actually. DASH? Lol, no privacy. Another bitcoin clone methinks.
Second one is Ethereum, there is no serious competitor in smart contract area.

I cannot find third one. Maybe NANO.
To be honest if I ever wanted to buy an altcoin using bitcoin then it will be only BNB based on current market conditions since its the coin have better future in near due to binance has no competitor at all for now.But other coins which based on its usage might be moero other than that I will skip everything just hold btc.
231  Economy / Exchanges / Re: LocalBitcoins and Tier verification's on: November 06, 2019, 06:43:27 AM
Since you don't have any balance left on your account then you are not in any serious problem but if you are in emergency need of using localbitcoin then try register new account from different IP or new account also will get suspended until your old account gets restore.
No, I'm in serious problem because I use LBC regularly to cash out in my local currency and now I'm having difficulty in doing so.

As I mentioned before, my brother opened an account and I used once as help from him but now my brother's account is also blocked due to Tier 1 verification.
There is a catch though, my brother's Tier 0 limit is available, yet LBC is asking for Tier 1 verification and blocked the account. My brother said he will do the verification when he will get time.
So all you can do now use a new device which never gets registered on lbc site with VPN and register with a random name,so that you can trade upto 1000Euro once you exhaust it then you have to go with new account.I hope your verification process will be speed up.
232  Economy / Exchanges / Re: exchanger that accept "sepa instant transfer" on: November 05, 2019, 08:22:09 PM
Did you tried https://cex.io/ I am not sure it supports instant sepa but it is one of the estabilished exchange where we can start buying bitcoin using SEPA transfer with much lesser fee compared to other exchanges.
233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF] Part 4 on: November 05, 2019, 07:45:36 PM
I dreamed about winning a lottery few times which are the some most exciting dreams I ever had but the sad thing is that we have to wake up and realize that all the things was just dreams. But we are not going to get sad about the dreams later at any instance since most of the dreams will be forget after few minutes you wake up so after days you have to dream again to make yourself little bit sad.
234  Economy / Exchanges / Re: LocalBitcoins and Tier verification's on: November 05, 2019, 06:49:31 PM
I'm having a tough time I guess. Last month my passport expired and now facing verification difficulties. Next few months I don't have plan to issue my new passport, so it is not an option anymore.

I'm aware of their support delay, they say it may take them 5-7 days to respond due to the unusual amount of tickets. Probably, most of the tickets are related to the verification process which is the reason for this delay if I'm not wrong.
Even disputed trades goes into this queue that is why the things get clogged and take too long to get a response.

Since you don't have any balance left on your account then you are not in any serious problem but if you are in emergency need of using localbitcoin then try register new account from different IP or new account also will get suspended until your old account gets restore.
235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin and casinos on: November 05, 2019, 05:22:24 PM
But in real life casino its not happening much, even tried searching for real life casino which accepts bitcoin but didn't found any until now so only bitcoin used in online gambling ir the places were bitcoin gambled were still hiding from the public eyes?!
If you can look back to the some posts in this thread, you will see that there are local casinos that are accepting bitcoin. Yes, for real. You can't gamble directly with bitcoin but you have to buy chips first and what's good with it, is that you can buy bitcoin for it.

Yes its already possible but you would still end up on using dollars or fiat but at least they are showing some adoption.

https://www.theverge.com/2014/1/21/5331758/bitcoin-now-accepted-at-two-las-vegas-casino-hotels
https://www.gamblingsites.com/blog/vegas-casinos-accept-bitcoin-64554/

We might not able to spend directly but its good to look at about their recognition.
Even if there was an opportunity of gambling directly with bitcoin, I would have advised to not go for that. Risking world’s most precious asset in risky game like gambling will eventually become regret. Instead of wasting bitcoin here, it would be much better to forget about bitcoin for few months and then come back. You will be richer than your expectations. Bitcoin holders should recognize worth of their holding.
If you are gambling to increase bitcoin on your wallet then its wrong but if you want to gamble and have fun from it the bitcoin paves the better way for it,you can just deposit it into sites directly with no verification process and like he said you can buy chips instantly for any amount no need to wait for banks to confirm and proceed your transactions.
236  Economy / Exchanges / Re: LocalBitcoins and Tier verification's on: November 01, 2019, 05:30:14 PM
So your documents are rejected by local bitcoins ? However i tried to verified Tier 2 as they block my access to buy/sell bitcoins. I upload my documents and it took only 15 mins to get myself upgraded to Tier 2.  Smiley
I have contacted support (they prompted me to contact) yesterday after unsuccessful verification.

And they replied today,
Quote
Your account was suspended because your ID was rejected.

We contacted our verification system.

Please contact us within 48 hours to receive updates about your account.

Let's see what happens next. How long I have to tolerate the pain of doing KYC over & over again.

I submitted my NID and the card is in my local language with few things in English... wondering if this is the reason. But they wrote that they accept NID from my country.

Yesterday they have updated the TOS & Privacy. Those who don't know yet may want to give a read.
Why not try with your passport which may make the verification process get succeed. Smiley

But I want to let you know something, you may have to wait too long for every response from the localbitcoin staff because they respond to the ticket on queue basis and for me it took almost 4 days to get response from them for one of my report.
237  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do expert traders hide their loses? on: November 01, 2019, 04:59:42 PM
Will you show your defeats when you want people to believe in you?
i dont think so. That is showing weakness which ain't good for business.
How are they going to follow you if you do that? The effect will be they will not go with the wave and there will be no point in trading anymore since you cannot manipulate it thru the belief of your followers.
Indeed, when we have called them experts, we also understand that they are talented, there are special things that convince us to believe in their analysis and sharing, and their reputation is based on the accuracy of the speculations they provide, the more accurate they predict, it means they're really good. On the contrary, if they show failure and false analysis, they will lose a lot of resources to make money, first the advertising money that the projects pay them, the next will be the opportunity for them to manipulate
Most of the time prediction goes wrong but no one is going to blame the predictor for such things happens because everyone knows that it is not possible to predict accurately but this also used by the price manipulators using people with much influence on cryptos but is there any trader serious about these kind of sayings from experienced trader?
238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to restrain yourself at a small loss and not spend money. on: November 01, 2019, 07:53:54 AM
It's a little difficult when we've played and there our emotions and ambitions cannot be resisted. although at first we have rules that have been made when it touches how much we have to stop, but sometimes we ourselves are carried away so that we spend all our money. I often experience this and in the end when we lose we regret it.when not playing we can make rules but when playing there our emotions can not stop
If we have no control over these things then we are the only person will suffer from the results, yes its hard to stop bets but its not impossible to do,so keep yourself aware of things which is happening while you are betting when you feel that you are slipping from the limits you have drawn then its time to stop no matter you won or lose at that moment.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People are to be blame for what happened to them on the internet on: November 01, 2019, 05:58:18 AM
When it comes to money people like trying out things the way they see fit, try first learn later is the rules of newbies and thats why they always get scammed easily, HYIP, Pyramid Scheme, as dangerous and alarming these two are people still join them till date, both crypto and internet is not the evil here, people are to be blame for what happened to them
Not only newbies, anyone with greediness will get trapped by these scammers it happens more often in crypto industry because people get lured with huge returns if they deposit their money now or high among of discounts to invest in a new projects, for that they have to balme themselves for trusting their illogical mind when they see money.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: 1 address wallet on: October 31, 2019, 04:43:42 PM
Does anyone know of a wallet that uses just 1 address to receive multiple crypto?

Multiple crypto supported wallets are available but each coin needs the right address to receive or either you will completely lose your fund or you will get an error message if you use wrong address for wrong coin.
