221  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Do you think that crypto exchanges are dead? on: December 13, 2018, 12:41:09 AM
I don't think they are dead. And it seems most people here agree. Many people on this thread have cited the huge number of 'me too' offerings. I think now that the market is saturated in relation to the number of traders only those with better tech or useful ways of presenting information will rise to the top.
For instance all crypto-exchanges are long lists of currency pairings and traders have to search through these piles to find what they are interested in trading.
Panxora.io lets traders customise their trading pairs in watchlists so you can be more efficient. You can have multiple watch lists or just one. This gives HFT or intraday traders maximum efficiency as they can arrange their trade desk exactly as they want it and save it to return to next time.
222  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Cryptobanks Future? on: December 13, 2018, 12:29:47 AM
I think that it really depends what you mean by 'bank.' If you are talking about entities that serve a retail customer base, I think that in the fullness of time an entirely new type of operation will be born. Bank is part of the old paradigm. There are certain reasons a central entity that trade passes through adds value, for instance if I want to loan money today, but Sasha only shows up to borrow that amount of money 2 days later, a 'bank' will manage the transactions so that both people's needs are meant. But there are a whole lot of things associated with banking like the concept of fractional reserve capital management that will no longer have meaning. This freaks the living jizz out of central banks, governments and the old guard in equal measure.
So I believe new types of entities will arise from the crypto-economy that will have some of the properties of banks, but will be entirely new entities. What that will look like?... well I'm not clever enough to imagine it. But I will enjoy seeing what the amazing brains of the crypto-culture will come up with.
I am already amazed by some of the things I am seeing.
223  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you prefer Centralized or Decentralized Exchanges? on: December 11, 2018, 03:30:13 PM
In practical application there are alot of DEX that have close to zero liquidity. There are a few exceptions. But for me (as a trader) they are too rigid. It's a cash market only. No leverage, no going short, wide, wide spreads.
And there are about 10 squillion of them.
I am the founder of a token that invests in blockchain start-ups and there was a while there where I was getting notices of 3 ICOs a day, all stating they were the first DEX with one of about 3 features.
It's a huge waste of talent and energy.

I see that you've written an article about this. I will read it with interest. I want to see your viewpoint!

OK,
but I deposited my AiCoin Nov-10-2018.
Today is business day and my AiCoin's are NOT deposited to my account on aicoin.io
In addition, my deposit is visible on the blockchain. How do you explaint it ?
email support@panxora.io including your username and the transaction ID. They will be glad to help you. I just don't have access to that database or I would help.

I'm happy to read these updates but I miss the main update: I participated in your facebook bounty campaign, can you kindly know when tokens will be distributed?
Nice try but this token went on line 14 months ago. That ship...as they say, has sailed. See the smoke stacks disappearing over the horizon... Bubye.

Hi Aicoin Team!

I have questions:
1. How long it takes to deposit BTC to your platform  https://account.aicoin.io/ ?
2. How long it takes to withdraw BTC from your platform https://account.aicoin.io/ ?
3. How long it takes for your support to answer to e-mail?
Hi I'm a founder
Deposits / Withdrawals. We are staffed at AICoin during the business week 09:30 - 17:30 UK time. So deposits should be within a couple of hours during the business day. Withdrawals have a 24 hour security delay, also during the business week they should be processed within a few hours after the 24 hour delay.
Support has a 8 hour SLA for first response. We try to do much better than that, but once again, our operational budget only extends to support during the UK business day.
