Koinify uses Counterparty. This means that Factom will be a Counterparty token. We are also looking at Omni, to have supporters be able to participate on as many platforms as possible. We want to make our crowdsale easy and accessible to everyone. This is an announcement about our intention to have a crowdsale, details on how to participate and when are not defined yet. This is a really cool idea, I will keep my eye on it and I hope it grows  If you think factom is cool, you should be checking out what factom and storj are trying todo together  Very true! I suspect more cross-integration is forthcoming with other projects for the duo... Both Factom and Storj are very open to collaboration and integration with other projects in the space. We have a very close relationship with Storj, we have met several times and look forward for our respective platforms to launch and see what we can do together. We are also in touch with a number of other projects, businesses, and organizations, watch this space for news, updates, and announcements. |

There will be a crowdsale in the near future but you will not be investing in Factom per se, there are no shares or dividends in Factom. When the network goes live you will also be able to earn Factoids for offering your computational power by being a node. Factoids (the Factom coin) is like fuel for our platform, used within our software. We will release more details when an official crowdsale announcement is made. |

I think a neat idea for factom would be to have bitreserve use verify their reserve chain on factom rather then just internally.

We haven't gone that far yet. We will make announcements about crowdsale and methods of participation when we have defined it fully. Our main concern for the moment is towards our software and our team is concentrating on that. |

They studiously avoid mentioning mastercoin, and have detailed "factoids". So, although the master protocol gets leveraged, it looks like msc are abandoned. I like how big this project is thinking and how they are providing these massive use cases. Bitcoin foundation should take note and start producing content that shows just how giant btc will be.

Was looking for such a project since Zerocoin seems to be off work or at least I don't see any news on it .
Basically your project will be a .exe GUI ?? or a website ? It would be nice if you can work with some wallet to implent this feature off-chain transactions on one the wallets directly (if It's possible of course , don't have a lot of programming knowledge )

We've been working hard to spread Bitcoin to one country in particular, although due to the deal they made with Factom, I'm not sure Factom wants us to name that country's name, yet  You'll probably see some other 2.0 applications being used by their government, soon, as well.
