POS mining will start 24 hours after the swap over
Swap over will start block 800,000 on GRE v1.
To perform the swap over, click help, debug window and then console on the V1 QT client
Do this for all of your greencoin v1 addresses:
run the command: dumpprivkey <Your GRE V1 Address Here (Without the brackets)>
You should get a response such as: RhGsLCi4ckTfv9zMtq1WFhDukw2Z1HBUebH8EzoyeFXLh5pCTqqJ
Note all of these down
On the GREv2 client click help, debug window and then console
for each of the private keys from the V1 wallet run the command:
importprivkey <private key>
e.g. importprivkey RhGsLCi4ckTfv9zMtq1WFhDukw2Z1HBUebH8EzoyeFXLh5pCTqqJ
The wallet will appear to hang for a few minutes as it re-scans the blockchain.
Soon after you should see your coins enter your V2 wallet and 24 hours after begin to stake

Since you have a new change in the works I wonder if it is worth considering adding a transaction memo field similar to the one in Florincoin for storing transaction notes into the blockchain. This could let GRE be more easily adapted for use in project Alexandria plus it might be nice to send notes attached to transactions for public viewing, and it opens up the potential to build other types of applications, such as tracking notes and auditing of payments for clean energy production or composting.
