222  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin stickers on: February 20, 2011, 02:00:19 AM
i want about 50, but they should have a little tiny text that reads at least bitcoin.org or bitcoin.it or bitcoinme.com

i wouldnt want to have to sharpie the url in  Cheesy

I agree bitcoin.org would be great. Put me down for 100 stickers.
223  Economy / Marketplace / Successful Transaction with Dangler on: February 19, 2011, 02:55:22 AM
I would like to state I had a successful transaction with Dangler. We used clearcoin escrow for a period of 1 year. Item received and funds released.

Thanks.
224  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Selling 50 Dollar Sparkfun Electronics Gift Certificate on: February 19, 2011, 02:54:08 AM
I will confirm once I receive the item.

Do you think you could rate me on #bitcoin-otc when you get it too? I'll rate you as well.
Yes, I will. I will sign up tonight.
225  Economy / Marketplace / Re: BiddingPond.com discussion on: February 18, 2011, 12:50:24 AM
Is there anyway I can revamp my Silver auction without the reserve? It is practically ruined due to the recent spike in Bitcoin value.

I do not want to edit auctions as that is unfair to the bidders. You can still sell the item to the "winner" if you choose even though they do not meet the reserve price.
226  Economy / Marketplace / Re: BiddingPond.com discussion on: February 18, 2011, 12:47:00 AM
I had a use claim he paid me already through BiddingPond when my Bitcoin address isn't even on the site. What's the deal?
He's lying or misinformed. BiddingPond has no feature as of yet to pay each other through the site. That feature is on the way though.
227  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Selling 50 Dollar Sparkfun Electronics Gift Certificate on: February 14, 2011, 02:13:12 AM
Are there just not enough electronics/robotics nerds on this forum? Or do you guys have doubts or concerns? If so, please post them here, and I'll do whatever I can to make it more comfortable. I know I don't have a reputation on this forum yet, but I'm currently shipping an msp430 launchpad to the user biddingpond.com, and I'm sure that once he gets it, he can confirm that I'm trustworthy. Even if you're not interested in my offer, I would like to hear what you would be skeptical about if you were planning on buying.

I will confirm once I receive the item.
228  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Someone Buy This for me? 15BTC? on: February 12, 2011, 08:16:06 PM

231  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bidddingpond.com BETA 50BTC Listing Credit for Free! on: February 08, 2011, 07:19:54 PM
What about spam protection on some fields?

I can send single character messages to the message board:
http://dev.biddingpond.com/msgboard.php?board_id=1

I don't know if it's a bug or a feature Cheesy

Undecided about a "length" feature. I might add a timer so you can't repost for a specified time after. Also, I believe I patched the XSS (<iframe>,<script> etc.) problem. Care to give it another try?
232  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bidddingpond.com BETA 50BTC Listing Credit for Free! on: February 07, 2011, 08:10:48 PM
@chmod755 : What input field allows iframe insertion?

The article description even allows <script>:
http://dev.biddingpond.com/item.php?id=11

I just tried to leave feedback, but it says:
Quote
You may not leave feedback about this user!
This auction is not closed!

The auction is closed:
http://dev.biddingpond.com/item.php?id=8

Edit: Oh, sorry. I gave my feedback to the user testing, but the menu still tells me: "1 users are awaiting feedback from you" (is it a bug in dutch auctions?)

Thanks,
Working on it.
233  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bidddingpond.com BETA 50BTC Listing Credit for Free! on: February 07, 2011, 07:13:20 PM
Thanks for the reports everyone. Working on getting them touched up.

Added Two new features:

Added unique QR code to each auction page.

In the last minute of auction every bid extends timer by 30 seconds
    - Replaces Captcha on Bid Screen
    - Used to diminish effect of 'sniping' programs

@chmod755 : What input field allows iframe insertion?

@PTMHD: Yes, this will be credited to the production site when the Beta goes live.

@kseistrup: Investigating SSL connections (98% likely, Might even make it a default "option"), Also not a bug the first bid will equal the starting bid price.

@Need2Revolt: I will add Message about Auction Limit. My assumption is that no one will bid for an item over 21,000,000 BTC as that is current hard coded generation limit.

@Nelisky: please try again as I was making some site modifications today. I am also investigating the bidding issue.

@TTBIT: Currently setting up a bitcoin forwarding option.
-Seller will supply an address they wish to receive coins
    - Buyer will send coins to an address generated by site and will forward coins to seller
    - If no forwarding address is supplied payments are held in an on site wallet.

236  Economy / Marketplace / Re: BiddingPond.com discussion on: February 04, 2011, 08:51:01 PM
Auction features are selected before bid purchasing.
What do you mean by this? Where do I get an address where I should send my 1 BTC to pay for bolding my auction?

Currently it debits your account for the transaction. All new accounts have a 5BTC listing credit. I have been letting people accumulate balances as I have been working on fixing minor bugs and the payment system. New version will require account payment every 30 days.
237  Economy / Marketplace / Re: BiddingPond.com discussion on: February 04, 2011, 08:45:36 PM
wtf with pics?
probably the code that highlights an auction on the frontpage is bokeh
inside the auction the thumbs work just fine.
this is a great example why writing 2 times the same code is not a good idea
if he'd reuse the thumbnail from the auction code, this would not happen

Issue resolved in new version of biddingpond(Coming Soon). Lots of bug fixes. I should have a Beta version ready for testing and bug reports by sunday.

wtf with pics?

Low quality pictures were uploaded by the member. Garbage in Garbage out.

Was a bug. Bug fixed in upcoming version.
239  Economy / Marketplace / Re: BiddingPond.com discussion on: February 04, 2011, 09:48:13 AM
I can't close or remove any auctions. I really want to close my silver auction and sell it all separately as buy it now.

Auctions can not be closed once someone has bid on the item.
240  Economy / Marketplace / Re: BiddingPond.com discussion on: February 04, 2011, 12:12:40 AM
Investigating the situation.

did you deactivated the email confirmations of new accounts?
i've created account 1GOCH0
1) email pending
2) could login

Yes,
E-mail confirmations have been disabled. The new site(coming real soon) will not require a valid e-mail account to register. I have also added a couple of new features. E-mail updates will be turned back on when the new site comes online(auction outbid notices, new listing notices,messaged,etc.).
