221  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB BTC on: November 11, 2015, 02:41:46 AM
When price gets below 300 I want to buy some coins.  Let's make a deal.  Pm me

With what are you going to be paying with? From my guess, bitcoin isn't going to go below $300 for a while; you should have just created the thread after it did.
222  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Have Paypal, Need Bitcoins on: November 11, 2015, 01:33:20 AM
I am a long member of other forums, I can prove I am legitimate...

I'm going to be quite honest with you, no one here cares about your profile on other forums (in most cases).

This solution to this is absurdly simple: withdraw the PayPal funds into your bank, and then wire it for bitcoins.
223  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: CoinLegends - FREE BTC faucet. on: November 10, 2015, 10:06:05 PM
I registered, since it seemed like a pretty neat idea. It looks fine so far; one thing I want to mention is that I didn't get the 3500 bonus, but that's not too much of a problem.

EDIT: The fighting bit where the bars go up and down reflecting the HP, etc. is absolutely awesome. Great job.

Also, found out that the bonus was in my chest; you might want to make that clearer.
224  Other / Meta / Re: Question about images on: November 10, 2015, 09:30:20 PM
Just to clarify, this is the correct usage of the img tags, right?

Yes.

I am a Jr. Member here and I was hoping at this rank I could use images.

You're allowed to.

Lock the thread if this answers it; it's on the bottom left.

228  Other / Meta / Re: Signature Adblock Script [0.4.0] on: November 10, 2015, 08:10:30 PM
Is it just me or is the script download link not working?
-snip-

The page is down, yes. Maybe someone can lend you an alternate link.

And just keep the post. It has more content than 90% of posters here. Cheesy
229  Other / Meta / Re: Public report of yobit spammers(this one's gonna be long boys) on: November 10, 2015, 02:35:23 AM
Here's a shitposter who's only posting to get their potential activity. Has no signature though.

I won't ever read what you suspected. it was a lesson. Blazed helped me more than a lot. And I didn't forgot him. I missed all of you, but explanation i owe only to Blazed, please wait for my PM.

Better late than never... I suppose. I think saying that we're all surprised is an understatement.

233  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying $25 BTC with my PayPal on: November 09, 2015, 08:46:54 PM
Traded again with xetsr, and it was smooth and very quick (took ~2 minutes). Thanks.

Denied.

I'll accept if you tell me how you plan on repaying the loan, since you won't be able to get it from your signature campaign.

The famous 10 cent scammer...
236  Other / Meta / Re: a way to stop signature spammers by punishing the campaign managers on: November 09, 2015, 11:04:05 AM
TBH, I agree that focusing on the users would be a better idea. I have to admit that there are a couple of quality posters in YoBit/BitMixer; if the campaign itself was closed down because of the spammers, then that would mean that they would be affected as well.

I'm still a fan of using a system more centered on the users, an ignore a specific signature button, which ignores all sigs of that type, and at a certain point they would automatically be ignored for everyone, though this is more complicated to implement.

Not sure if I understand what you mean. Are you saying that the signature itself would be automatically ignored for everyone, regardless of the user showing the signature? IMHO, ignoring a specific user instead of a signature type would be better; we would weed out the spammers, and the people who were making good posts with that signature would continue to get paid.

I like the idea of the ignore color; it sounded like a good idea. Maybe implement that again, but a less CPU-consuming method?
237  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Has anyone tried this ? on: November 09, 2015, 12:54:26 AM
Almost a 100% chance that the OP is just spreading the word about the service; it's a form of advertising that is actually pretty common. Lay out some key features of the service, pretend to be a bit hesitant, and presto! An advertisement.

So... what to begin with?

14264 happy clients seems like an awful lot of people... especially for a domain that was created less than 2 week ago.. Also note that the domain is WHOIS protected; why hide things if a business shouldn't even have anything to hide in the first place? Also, for their checkout page, looks like they have zero client feedback. I would think at least 1 out of 14264 people would leave a rating.

17 employees? Sounds legit... especially when you can't click on the button that states it and there's no "staff members" page (probably because they didn't want to rip pictures off the internet).

And that's just by a quick glance. I'm sure there are more things to be found by looking closer.

Bump.
239  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Warning] gecox22 account is being sold on TheBot.net on: November 07, 2015, 01:29:09 PM
Following what shorena said, I'd say that you tagged the wrong guy. I'm assuming that gecox22 replied to a thread that was selling a BCT account that was overpriced; you should instead tag him (the OP of that specific thread).
240  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Want to buy bitcoin with paypal on: November 07, 2015, 01:25:12 PM
It was not obtained through illegal means, but I still want to withdrawal it without being linked to my name.

Have fun trying to convince us that, then.

The only way you can do it is to withdraw it to your bank, and then wire it to another person's.
