Yes, that seems correct to me that it is going this way. If you have a dynamic address, you can use it once. With a subsequent deposit at the previous address, the money will not be automatically credited, but the helpdesk will presumably credit the money manually. That may take a little longer than the time it takes for the normal confirmation, but ultimately it's all about being credited. And if you just pay attention when you make a deposit and keep the address shown, it can never go wrong. I made a small deposit of 1 mbtc to test how quickly it was credited to my account. It wasn't instant, but after the first confirmation at work, it was credited to my account.
