221  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CKPool Monitor - hashrates, workers, rewards and get notifications for CKPool on: March 16, 2016, 02:24:19 PM
Try it now, you had a entry for block 0, which was getting included on each day.

That did the trick! Thanks

Zach, just ran a report for 3/1 to 3/15 and each day in the report it starts with a zero in each column, then the correct values after. I think that is messing up the totals at the bottom and avg. all the zeros into the totals.

The import feature is finally here!  Grin

There may be some bugs to work out, but it seams to work right now.

You need to select the information from your rewards page and copy it to a spreadsheet program, then save it as a csv file.

It should look something like this:

The file name does not matter, except it needs to be a .csv extension

Then go to Your Rewards page and choose to upload the file.

It should enter those rewards in for you, it will check for duplicates so you don't need to worry about overwriting older entries.

Try it and let me know if you have any problems.

You think Kano might provide the rewards data via API? That would be much easier for all I think

You know, Zach Monroe needs to build a automated payments import function, entering all these payments is getting to be a full time job!

He said that feature is coming soon...................................   Donations will help speed it up.

I'm working on it....  Smiley  Trust me, I want it too.  Grin

Zach - Another donation sent, well deserved! Great site and great community we have here!

Also, lets not forget VH and his awesome iOS app, I get the notifications like clockwork and great stats when on the go...

Interesting that the pool luck is so good, they are getting 7-11 blocks a day with a little over 40PH. I see they are using CKpool code which we know is very good, but still avg 143% luck for last 50 blocks is pretty amazing. Has anyone tested with small hash to see if they pay? I just pointed a small rental to them to see if they are for real and payout. I'll post my results in a few days....

So I did a rental test with these guys, rented 10TH and funded .1358 for this rental. started 2016-03-03 13:11:59 and ended 2016-03-07 04:58:20. I got rewarded for blocks 401009 till 401722 (28 blocks rewarded). It took 4 blocks to ramp up to a block reward of .007 on avg. When rental ended it ramped down 5 blocks. I am pretty sure I had set my price as .0032 for this rental. Anyway, I added up all my rewards for this rental and should be getting .15252479 in total.

So far I got 2 payments,

https://blockchain.info/tx/30cc6cfb040926cc82ace5ae093ac4fca6d719e4a446460412dd8f25e0e33c46

Today is 3/11 and they still owe me .03810128. I will edit this post once I get the final payment.

Also, note that during my rental time the blocks hit were mostly under 100% diff with a few exceptions and when I checked luck for last 25 blocks before my rental ended it was around 120%.

Anyway, no conclusion on my part other then they paid 2 of 3 payments, as for the "club" part of the business I can't say anything about that. This is only my mining results. But I have been mining on Kano since June 2015 and continue to do very well and would never switch, plus Kano is a pool you can trust 100%.

Payment History: Sorry on format, it was easy to cut/paste.

if i only had the cash i would buy the s7 off of you but  i dont have that kinda btc at this time

good luck in your sale

Thanks, my friend. Hopefully I'll get $700 and I'll only be down $200, but it was worth the fun!

Have you considered a colocation facility? It will cost you about $110 a month

Have you already listed it on eBay?  You hope to get $700 but there will be $100 in eBay and PayPal fees.  Sending your S7 to a data center is a viable option.  I have my 7 at Toomim Brothers in Washington state and I love it.  The $110 fee was way less than my electrical cost and I have direct control of all 7 machines (I'm in Virginia).  It also eliminated the cooling and noise problem I was having.  Jonathan Toomim and his team are top notch at the hosting business and I can highly recommend them.  And you can continue with our top notch team here on the kano pool!

What do they charge per Kwh? Also any setup or handling costs after the fact? I have a bunch at Sidehack but he's full now and need colo for 4 s7's and possibly 8 A6's. Just checking

I have a few at OregonMines besides sidehack's, OM charges $97 for 8+ batch or $88 for B7 or lower S7s. No other fees except for onetime VPN setup fee.

Looks like OM is now 102 for new S7, and 88 for prior to Batch 8. Based on my math thats almost 12 cents a Kwh. Not that great, Sidehack is 9 cents Kwh, wish I could send him more hardware, but he's full. Paying 9 cents a Kwh a new s7 should be $80/mo and older s7 $65-70 while a A6 should cost ya $60/mo. Again, maybe my math is off

Hey, I just noticed this pool pays-out instantly on block finds.
Sorry but I can't get payments on every block; I've a very neat wallet, your pool just made it very trashy.
Once a day is more than enough, once a week is best, every block is a big no-no for me.
This falls under "shit forced upon me that I don't want nor need to deal with" category.

Sorry but I cannot mine here for the foreseeable future.
Maybe if you let miners decide when to cashout or once a day at best, but for the time being, I prefer less payments.
It's just less hassle for me.

Keep up the great work, I love how you fill the blocks.

Fell free to use my Wallet address for mining and I'll consolidate and send the payments to you weekly or even monthly if you like  Wink

Is there an easy way to see our current 5ND Payout average?  Right now the shift graph shows our average but it's for a much larger window.  What I want to see is my rough current payout average should a block hit right now.   My averages fluctuates too much so it's much harder to guess.

you wont see what you could get paid but your average is shown by the redline.

My fluctuation is way too much and is never close to the longer average of the redline.  Would be nice if we can also get the current 5ND redline averages closer to our current shorter 5ND window vs the original which was designed for when the pool was much smaller and the 5ND window was much much longer.  I can average between 0 to over 3Petahash so it's very hard to guess compare to a smaller account.   Just a nice to have feature as I'm constantly guessing at what it would be but I'm always a few  hundred TH off.

How about using the Dashboard on Zach's site? he has a avg. 5ND value along with % of pool, workers and current hash rate. Not sure if that 5ND value is somewhat realtime. I'll check it when we hit a block to see if it matches what the reward 5N value is on Kano.

It would be wonderful to have a traditional block Friday - and then a Super Saturday following that! (with potential network difficulty decrease  Grin)

The network  difficulty adjustment is an absolute certain negative some time late Friday or early Saturday.

There are no longer enough blocks to go positive this jump.

Philipma, may I know your prediction how much the drops?.. 2.5?

AVALON6 GIVEAWAY is very close!

The contest has started but we wont know who wins which prize until the first block is mined on the network in April (UTC time). However this block could be in the running for the prize that's assigned the highest CDF (assuming a valid contest miners gets this block).
Yeah it got a high CDF, but the miner is over 250THs so the (low and) high CDF are still awaiting a block.

I think I missed the March rules, low and high Diff for the full month with 1 A6 as prize, whats the other prize assuming the low and high miners are both winners.

The March contest is also not the first miner that hits a block...we won't know for sure who wins the Avalon6 until the end of the month or actually until April 1st...it's a genius idea!  See kano's announcement...

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=789369.msg14042677#msg14042677

Edit:  The other prize is as quoting kano:
Quote
Of those 2 leaders, one will win the Avalon A6 and the runner up I'll give my pool fee from the first pool block of April
.. it's a bit over 0.125 BTC, not a lot but better than nothing - enough to buy a very nice bottle of wine or spirits  Smiley

Excellent, thank you all for the responses and links. Missed a bunch of posts as I was traveling and could not find the details, but all set now!

Hey guys, i'm putting my kano.is password in the cgminer configuration and is working good, why i should put the "x" instead of my real password? It's more risky?

never use your real password. period. The miner config password field can be anything, I use 123 and xxx. All pools I know of don't require anything in the password field. Why risk it?
