I'm surprised to see that so far only about 5 people signed up for the challenge. In my opinion, it's a great challenge to hold whereby to the number generation gambling game real world situation/celebration is attached, even if its in the memory of someone. Returning to my initial observation perhaps using other mediums to increase the participating numbers might help Huh
Which challenge are you referring to? It's only day 1 after the challenge was announced they still have a week left to post their entries give it some time other users will surely join the challenge since the reward is good. Their previous giveaways had a lot of entries so I don't think they need to advertise on other platforms.

Hey ralle14, the challenge I was referring to was the black mamba challenge and even with the reward being generous it still wouldn't hurt encouraging as many entries as possible? I think this is the case even it comes at the cost of spreading the news over a few more channels right, which in the end will only bring in more money to the casino

It looks interesting and like it has potential, so good job for that. Can you go in a bit more detail about how you auto bet works? At the moment I've not had a chance to try it out but it would super good if you could explain more about its usage etc. I would like to think that by answering this other people could benefit from it and hopefully help them decide if this is a platform they're happy to try out or not.
223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know if a gambling site is scam or not? on: February 02, 2020, 07:33:19 PM
Hey there, in my opinion there are many measures one can use to determine quickly if a site is legit or not. Some of my favourites are how big is their community, is what they offer too good to be true, what do you get when you Google their brand name, do they seem professional, do they say guarantee winning etc. especially, with the latter if that's clearly put in red or something flashy then that's almost always not legit and you have to be careful.

225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling websites need to add self-control functionality! on: February 02, 2020, 06:43:04 PM
The bottom line is to not expect anybody other than you to help you with this and especially not casinos which are only looking out for people like yourself and others to profit from. I'm afraid you have to maser the strength to do it or else it may get too problematic for you. Perhaps, thinking about the reasons why you're doing it and the benefits it would bring you if you're not spending all your money on gambling  Undecided

227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Recommended games for lottery players? (Something with a jackpot?) on: February 01, 2020, 09:17:44 PM
Hey everyone,

One of my friends won a huge jackpot on a popular lottery site here on the forum, and he's looking for some new platforms to play on. Do you guys have any recommendations?

He's looking for something with a good entertainment factor, e.g. something with bonus games, great graphics and excellent replayability, ideally with a jackpot too.

Help would be greatly appreciated  Cheesy

So ar I don't know that many but I came across this article and it sounds to me like this might be what you/your friend might be looking for  Huh Anyways, the casino can be accessed here (https://luckydice.com/) and the article describing it can be read here https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@kadjar/introducing-luckydice-a-new-take-on-the-classic-game-usd100-giveaway-contest

Happy reading  Smiley
228  Economy / Gambling / Re: MintDice – Bitcoin Casino With Online Slots, Bitcoin Crash & Bitcoin Investment on: February 01, 2020, 09:11:49 PM
Just use play money or have some promos for your loyal members.
This is a good suggestion and might be a good alternative to fight those faucet abusers. If there's no choice, this could be the last option so these abusers will stopped what they do with the faucet abuse on mintdice.

On that note, I hope our rain platform is coming out soon, I've played with it on testnet a little so it's at least getting close but I can't quite give a launch date for it yet.
Also, a good option to use rains instead of faucets and hoping that no more abusing will be found.

Even so guys, this faucet abuse you're talking about there's no real benefit for players to use it other than just gaining insight about the games. So, even if there's a few people relying on the faucets the amounts are not enough to withdraw or play games where you can win for real money etc. And if the faucets are not built with these strategies in mind then rather than limiting the potential number of future customers by removing the faucets like you lot suggest which won't be sustainable not to mention that it won't look good on the casino, why not instead use the technology available to limit the power of the faucets in the way I mentioned above? This is something other casinos do btw
229  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - Crypto Casino 🎰 Now Accepting EOS | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: February 01, 2020, 07:09:09 PM
We have some $230k+ overall wager on here.

@milewilda what a brilliant start to the month of February, and this is a whale people a big fat whale who’s decided to come and play at Bitdice because they know how good this casino is. It’s also pertinent to note that whales and all other players love to play at Bitdice even when there’s no competition going on, and hopefully now people will stop doubting about Bitdice ability to attract the whales.

All you're saying is interesting but what I'm not sure about is whether you are quoting the exception here or not? It seems to me that many other casinos do have a high success rate from their weekly/monthly competitions so is this something that perhaps this casino may consider? This being reflecting as the voice from its costumers?
230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting strategy. on: January 31, 2020, 09:36:16 PM
What's more efficient here on sportsbetting, familiarize the game and it should be your favorite game in which you're getting daily updates<>

I don't think I am doing it, for me, it's not necessary to be my favorite game before I make a bet.
Choosing which game gives me a better value is what matters to me, I don't need to like them, I just need to find some value to win.

Although winning is hard but without patience and your passion on what you are doing, it's always achievable to be profitable in the end.
Indeed, I guess it doesn't matter if whether it is your favourite game or not, for me as long as you have a piece of knowledge in a particular game then why not play. I think it is much better to play in different games because if your luck doesn't work on your previous game then change into another one. If you have knowledge about something you should grab it and take the opportunity.

I also agree with these guys that if like most people you're in for the wins then the game you play is not important as long as you know enough about it that you think by playing the game you'll maximise your chance of winning. It would be futile though if people choose their games otherwise  Lips sealed
231  Economy / Gambling / Re: How To Win 0.2 BTC From 0.8 BTC Balance In Dice Fast - In 10 Minutes on: January 31, 2020, 08:42:04 PM
That's simple. If you have 0.8 - 1 BTC balance in Dice, make Payot: 49, Bet: 10 Satoshi, Increase On Loose: 10%, Increase On Win: Return to base bet, On Auto Mode - in 10 - 15 minutes you will have 0.2 - 0.25 BTC profit, then stop game and withdraw all balance.  Grin
THIS IS NOT LONG RUN STRATEGY, YOU WIN AND THEN WITHDRAW. AFTER 15 MINUTES YOU LOOSE IN ANY WAY !!!
THE STRATEGY IS JUST FOR SOME NICE WIN !!!

Is this something you tested several times to see that your win wasn't a one off? In any case, I find it quite pretentious to say that you can win and that it's almost a guarantee. I hope only people who can afford this type of loss or at least those who have consider the possibility of losing it all tries this as I would not like to think what it would be like for a newbie to go on and get wrecked because to be fair the chances are stupendous.

...

They have done sign up bonus some time ago, it is more than enough already. Faucet is not needed at all especially if we look at the minimum bet here. Even if they decrease the minimum bet, I do not think faucet will be good. These days, many gambling sites has no faucet as they have removed due to faucet abusers. It is better if there is no users come back because there is no faucet than many users come everyday just for the faucet.
It do have its pros and cons actually but the final decision would be always depend on the team if they would add it up or not.

Luckybit has a chatbot called chatlotto, and it's like a faucet for the users, people who are rolling bets have the chance to be selected by the lotto for the price. This is a better solution than a faucet because the site gives the price for the people who are having fun on the betting board.

I'm not sure that from the perspective of a new player the chatlotto bot you're talking about is better than the faucet. The main purpose for having a faucet is to attract new players rather than reward the already existing players. And the reason faucets are so popular among casinos and players use it is due to its risk-free benefits it comes with

This is nice but can the credit be exchanged for anything else on here other than being spent on the games? I know some casinos where your deposited money can be converted into tokens which can then be used to either play directly or else exchanged for other tokens. Is there a similar feature that allows this type of interchangeability available here also?
234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ETH-based descentralized casinos on: January 30, 2020, 10:54:23 PM
Fair enough, I agree with the fact that decentralisation is the equivalent of provable fair, and since most casinos are built with provably fair in mind there's no real benefit to added decentralisation other than a huge spike in capital investment, and where the players don't receive any benefits either.
For matters concerning player safety, the casinos should be fully transparent and by ensuring their money is safe the casinos in turn can't take more than what the players are willing to gamble with.

In other words, introducing decentralisation would not benefit anybody and hence its a feature nobody is paying attention to. I hope these comments gave you a solid understanding that decentralised ownership isn't always valuable, especially in gambling as providers must adhere to other terms already covering customer safety/protection!

BoX has been responsing well to you guys. Let's keep the discussion related to BitDice casino itself.  Smiley

We are still in midweek and heres the top players atm.
New and unfamiliar names but there's still few more days to see who will be at the top of this weekly ranking. No competition just pure gambling.

No competition? Mate, gambling is competition, isn't it? I know some people play for fun but I think we both know that most people aren't. And isn't competition bring out the best in people/players?
At the end of the day, for some, gambling is an addiction just as much as it a vehicle for ' the winner' syndrome. The bottom line is that people like to win and competition is good, it pushes players to do their best. SO let them do their best and increase their chance of success  Smiley
236  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🎲Tower.bet 🎲🔥 - New Platform arrived 🎲Play Crash & HiLo 🎲Contests 🎲 on: January 30, 2020, 09:54:47 PM
I like the UI and the designs also, but what concerns me is the invite-only access to the platform. Isn't there enough competition out there, why would players go through the extra hurdle of messaging you to get the invite link if all they want to do is try it out and see if that's something they like or not.

Having said this, do you think this is then likely to change in the future? I mean the crypt world is moving towards autonomy & accessibility and if you can't tick at least one of these boxes then what are you doing with your investments? Anyways, don't take it personally, I'm just trying to make sense of it!

Peace,

After reading the article looks like even their first product (a USD stablecoin) has practically no users.

Does this company just pump out random stablecoins until something gains traction?
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fortnite, PUBG, DOTA 2, Hearthstone, Apex coming to blockchain? Mass adoption? on: November 14, 2019, 08:06:37 PM
Personally, I think that it's unlikely to be a pre-existing title that will incorporate blockchain technology, but it will be a new intellectual property.

Something like Cyberpunk 2077 would be the perfect opportunity—particularly since the game is expected to feature cryptocurrencies as the in-game currency.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one makes sense on: November 14, 2019, 08:02:21 PM
The bounty should be operating for several weeks before the ICO/IEO begins. Obviously bounties take a while to pick up speed since it takes some time to recruit enough bounty hunters to get the world out effectively.

Because of this, I think a bounty should run 7-8 weeks prior to the ICO/IEO, and then overlap the token sale period for a few additional weeks.
240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Hong Kong protesters use Btc for anything? on: November 14, 2019, 07:55:02 PM
Bitcoin is definitely one of the tool's used by those that are under the thumb of the government.

I think I saw a report that the number of Localbitcoin registrations from HK significantly increased during the protect, then it was later revealed that this was likely an error.

That being said, there isn't much need for it during protests, they tend to just start using anonymous communication apps more (like Signal).
