I taught posting comments increases user activities ?

I have made several comments my activities still remains 5 ?
Not really, there's a formula. I suggest that you read the main post, the formula was posted there plus other info about ranks etc.
222  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware From Kucoin Exchange!! on: April 15, 2019, 12:16:35 PM
Those who joined the competition bought more coins to receive the giveaway. I can say that mostly they focused on the giveaway that they will get than the price of what they are buying. Don't forget that there are people who are not aware of the competition and/or people that are not interested to join. What's important for them is to sell their holdings at a higher price that's why they took advantage of it and dump their holdings.

Yes. That's why they arrange this holding competition for dump money.
Well, how can we be sure?

This will end up a baseless accusation unless there is a strong evidence provided. Anyway, it's up to the KCS holders/KuCoin users to decide whether to think of it as manipulation or not and if they will continue using KuCoin's service.
223  Other / Meta / Re: Merit Airdrop for reporting a given number of posts(suggestion) on: April 14, 2019, 10:59:10 PM
I think let's just leave the reporting the way it is now. Don't worry too much, there are members who genuinely care about the forum and member's safety and continually make reports even without getting anything back.

Whenever there is a reward, some people tend to abuse it. It will just complicate things and add more work to mods.

225  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM ALERT www.payglobel.com on: April 13, 2019, 11:37:06 PM
Payglobel is a very big scam. They are also very wicked
People must stay away from Payglobel. They are a big fraud

Searching "payglobel scam" could have saved you (you should do that next time before using any service):
https://www.google.com/m?q=payglobel+scam

Also, aside from this thread, here's another scam accusation that has been posted here:
New Scam www.globelbit.com and www.payglobel.com

* payglobel doesn't even have SSL in their website, which they should because there are data transfers from users to them (ex. log in).
* they have provided social media buttons, but there are no links provided (just for a display I guess)
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shift Wallet? on: April 13, 2019, 10:55:06 PM
Yes. Just download the desktop wallet (.exe) from that github link.

PS. Don't get offended by this. If you have other questions about Shift, posting in their ANN thread is enough, so no need to open a new topic for it. You'll surely get more help there.
227  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is upbit safe? on: April 12, 2019, 04:00:31 AM
The thing is i dont want to sell my shift nor beancash now because i would be selling it at a huge loss.
If you don't want to sell it now, just download the wallet. Just make sure that you are downloading them from the official websites and you're good. That's it.

But what about when im ready to sell?  What do i do then?
If the time has come that you wanted to sell them, then go on other exchanges where it is available or offer them on Currency exchange here in the forum (with the use of trusted escrow). Asking someone to sell your coins on the exchange is riskier because he can run away with your coins, so be extra careful.

228  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: etherdelta & forkdelta buy and get 0 token ! on: April 12, 2019, 12:12:33 AM
I do not understand how they were able to do that
Is this possible? How avoid these ?..
You are sure that your order has been filled, right?

The problem is that, you trade an unofficial listed token in that exchange. There might be a mistake on contract address/decimal or might be a problem with the token itself (changes in the eth standard or the token is locked) that's why you are getting an error/didn't see the balance.

The only way to avoid it is to not trade an unofficially listed token on Etherdelta and Forkdelta.

You can contact the dev/team of that coin to know if there were changes or if they have an idea about what happened / what's happening.
229  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is upbit safe? on: April 11, 2019, 11:39:34 PM
I agree with @harizen that it would be better if you withdraw and hold them in the coin's standalone wallet for the mean time.

UPbit is also partnered with Bittrex btw. I thought they are not supporting other countries before, but they have UPbit global. I checked their TOS as I was curious too, unfortunately, I only see a blank page there. In their FAQ (under Unsupported Countries), I saw this:

In addition to the above listings, Upbit Singapore Pte. Ltd. is unable to provide any services to residing customers from the United States of America (USA). This is due to the complexity of the country’s regulatory environment.

Most of the times, answers are already available, you just have to search for it.
230  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: April 11, 2019, 10:27:59 PM
They already addressed the withdraw concern - it will open in April.

Which year was not specified  unfortunately Sad .
Afaik, there is NO official announcement about withdrawals. I was following their twitter and news page for updates, so please do not give false hopes to those who are following this thread. If you think I'm mistaken, you should provide a reference link.
231  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: etherdelta & forkdelta buy and get 0 token ! on: April 11, 2019, 09:56:58 PM
So, you bought a token, it wasn't credited in your account and your Eth was gone too?
Are you sure that you are in the correct site and your order has been filled? If yes, check your Eth address on Etherdelta here : https://deltabalances.github.io/ to see all your balances and transactions
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: April 11, 2019, 01:42:44 AM
I use "https://client.wavesplatform.com/" to store Waves, will I get the Vostok tokens on them or not? Thankful
It's the official online client, so yes you are eligible for the airdrop. You can check out your waves address on https://vostok.wavesplatform.com/ to see the total Vostok tokens to be distributed in your account.
233  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Drep-wallet? on: April 11, 2019, 12:58:54 AM
What did you search on Google that leads you to an answer "One good place to ask about a sites legitimacy is bitcoin talk."? Just curious, you know.

Is it shady? I've studied it a good bit. Link I posted shows lots of love chat people.
New site, but old tactic. Don't you think it is shady? Let's say I'm a newbie who asked the same question. With just the first reply above, I would hesitate and think that why would I be given such amount? And if they give it for free, why do I need to deposit first?

234  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Live Lost Password Issue? on: April 10, 2019, 11:31:55 PM
Check this out: https://support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/360006395233
Under "Step 4. Choose a password (optional)" you'll see a note:

Note: Make sure to remember your password. Losing it requires resetting Ledger Live and re-adding accounts. This does not affect your crypto assets.

I think that answers your problem. Uninstall -> Reinstall your Ledger live
235  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Need Help With Bitforex Exchange on: April 10, 2019, 10:07:25 PM
Only Bitforex staff can help you. Did you send the emails manually to support@bitforex.com? If yes, try sending one ticket via https://support.bitforex.com/hc/en-us/requests/new and select "Help with Deposits" as issue. Though it's worrisome if you are not hearing anything from them yet, I still suggest that you don't flood them with emails/tickets.

If after this you still prefer to send from an exchange to another exchange, it's okay,  but be sure to do a test transction with a small amount before sending out the rest of the coins/tokens.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: April 09, 2019, 03:32:17 PM

I tried installing the waves keeper but it looks very different from the waves client that I use to have. Are we jsut suppose to keep the waves there and does nothing?

The last time I know waves client in the chrome was that there is a platform where we can trade and there is a DEX on it. How come there is not there anymore?

How can I get a waves client this time?
WavesKeeper is really different from Waves client. If you want to know more about it, check out this documentation:
https://docs.wavesplatform.com/en/waves-client/account-management/waves-keeper.html

You have 2 options to access your wallet and dex (or should I say 3):
1. Waves online client - visit https://client.wavesplatform.com/
2. Desktop or Mobile client - just go directly in their download page using your device https://wavesplatform.com/products-wallet
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lost coins? on: April 09, 2019, 02:31:56 PM
People (commonly) sent their coins to a wrong address not because of mistyping it, but because of a copy paste malware that automatically changes the address that has been copied to clipboard (from the recipient's address to the hacker's address). Having an anti malware software on your device would help and of course always double check the address before making the transaction.

Content of this might be helpful to you -> What if you send Bitcoin to a non-existent address?
238  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin $10k Before June, Possible? on: April 08, 2019, 11:46:20 PM
Talking about possibility, yes it is possible. That's all we can say, but no one can be certain about it. Bitcoin can reach $10k again, but if when, who would know, right?

Tbh, I don't have an exact price target at a certain date in my mind. I'm more of not expect too much and just wait for it to happen.
239  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is cryptopia dead? on: April 08, 2019, 11:15:50 PM
Yes. They have reopened last month.
I don't think re-opened is the right term. Just say that they resumed trading for some pairs.

Some trading pairs have been resumed, but Cryptopia is still in "Read Only" mode. Only those who have coins inside the exchange can trade because Withdrawal and Deposit are still disabled. Most likely the reason why there's a low volume.

They will re-open fully after securing all the wallets. If when, I don't know (how I wish it would be sooner). Just check their twitter page for updates @Cryptopia_NZ and you can join the discussions in their ANN thread too.
240  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: April 07, 2019, 02:56:54 PM
Did they mention any deadlines before?

Currently in regards to withdrawals, we are hoping to achieve this by the end of the month.

key words being "We are hoping to achieve this by".

As per https://support.cryptopia.co.nz/csm?id=kb_article&sys_id=48613b3cdb50338032a664a14a9619ba

I think BenTheAnonMod made a mistake of giving false hope about the withdrawals. If you check the article it's not what they mean, it's not the withdrawals that they are hoping to achieve:

We will be emailing you again shortly with more details around the rebates and the projected dates for trading to be active again. Please be aware, we are hoping to achieve this by the end of the month.

Some trading pairs are now active, but in regards to the rebate, no new update.
