221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: States sponsoring crypto hacking on: March 14, 2019, 06:16:03 PM
I don't think a government would be involved in that kind of act to scam people of their money, though anything is possible in this world, it is possible they are doing it just to make people scared about investing in crypto because they know that crypto is a very big threat to their economy and also their control over money.

If this act can be committed by a state, then I see a very big issue in the future for many crypto companies.
When it comes to North Korea, I really don’t doubt their involvement in such kind of activities and since the report is coming from UN security though I will not believe the story to be true too until I read it myself from the source but I can’t vouch for North Korea and probably the reason why they are camouflaging about non exposure of citizens to internet usage in order not to look suspicious in anything that has to do with internet scam.

I honestly hope it is not true because this might be a bad omen for the growth of crypto.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptoscanner working in real time - 17 exchanges, 1215 cryptocurrencies on: March 14, 2019, 05:44:11 PM
The project idea is nice and will gain lots of relevance once people start using it but the only scanner I will like to see now is that scanner  application that will ease our stress by analyzing every project found on the market and scan the bad ones out while also suggesting the good ones.

Because, I can see now that it is better to rely on computers than just mere suggestions of human beings who are not even sure of the project they are investing in but I like the idea of the project and its function.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hodl some of your coins Billion people will use Crypto in 5 years on: March 14, 2019, 04:50:40 PM
Whatever happen do keep some of your coins that has good potential in the market, because in the next five years Billion of people are going to use cryptocurrency, so even if you have few satoshis in your wallet, it could still worth hundreds of dollars.

Check this article and let me know your thoughts.

https://www.ccn.com/a-billion-people-will-be-using-cryptocurrency-in-5-years-brian-armstrong

Idea is good. I am holding my coins untill i get back my capital either for one year or five years from now. It billions of more people use crypto in the next 5 years, it will be good crypto market expansion.
So why are you after getting your capital alone since you have waited for that long time to experience the increase, personally, I feel we have to be patient long enough just as you suggest till we are able to see the profit on our investment.

Presently, now I have about 2000 dollars investment in the market but I will wait till my investment yield me x30 of it no matter how long I have to wait, I just see it as my retirement money which is still far better than what the government will pay me after my retirement from government service.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most trending ICO now? on: March 14, 2019, 03:19:20 PM
Unfortunately, there is no alternative to Binance launchpad that made this ICOs successful compared to failed projects. Binance is going to put its own rules for running the ICO launchpad and honestly, these rules cover the requirements of big investors who have no doubt about Binance.
I am glad that Binance is trying its best to take a step that will further put the minds of investors at ease though whatever rule they set may not completely guarantee that any ICO project they register through their laundpad will be successful but at least it will eliminate any form of scam ICO that might intend using their platform too to scam more investors.

This is a stepping stone to seeing Good ICOS gain more investor because investors will tend to rely more on them based on Binance.
225  Economy / Economics / Re: UnionBank Crypto ATM To Launch On March 08 on: March 14, 2019, 01:30:57 PM
On Friday, people will then be able to convert fiat to cryptocurrency and vice versa lot easier using UnionBank's crypto ATM.

Full article here: https://www.unblock.news/news/unionbank-crypto-atm-launch-march-8
This is very good news and coming from union bank and it means a lot to the cryptocurrency world. Crypto is here to stay i must say. They have clearly stated it that the reason they are starting up this cryptocurrency ATM is part of their goal to their clients evolving need, and i guess majority are those who use cryptocurrency.

There is a good probability that many banks will follow suit and this will result to having so many Bitcoin ATM all around the world, thereby leading to a fast worldwide Bitcoin adoption.
226  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 29 Billion Bets | 112+ BTC Jackpot! on: March 13, 2019, 05:51:33 PM
You made a good point here with good explanation.
However, when it comes to gambling addiction the most common way is you can get yourself banned from the websites so you won't have access and that is about it for common solutions.
I think one of best ways to rehabilitate from gambling addiction is burning all devices, from desktop computers to all kinds of mobile devices.
What happen if they lose control sometimes and revisit gambling sites.
Their gambling addiction rehabilitation will be failed for sure.

I think we should go back to talking about primedice instead of focusing on addiction, I doubt they really like the gambling addiction talk all that much on their gambling topic lol. Not that primedice wouldn't help anyone with that issue, they would do their best to help them out in anyway they could but it is just in bad taste.

Back on primedice I realize that the discussions are getting focused on more coins on their forum, is that really a thing primedice looking for and if so what are they really look for when adding a new coin? Like we know bitcoin has been around since day 1 and you added stuff like ethereum and so forth because they are big but what else is really looked at when selecting a new coin to add on primedice? Is it how much its known? Is it how much its wanted by the people? What is the qualifications to be added?
227  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com 2 Just Launched! New games, updated design 💎💣🎰🎲♠️ on: March 13, 2019, 02:52:26 PM
Today, I got my first fauceted from Stake, so I hope that it won't not get me addictive with games on Stakes.
Now, it's time to wipe out fears of addiction, I will start enjoy games on stakes.
Honestly the games are quite enjoyable with faucet if you are having hard time just quitting forever. If you can hold yourself accountable and have the ironclad will of stopping whenever you should then there is no issues, the games are insanely fun and you could just play there as long as you want, you can have fun without worrying about money, in a casino the proper thing to do is consider the money you deposit as money spend to have fun, kind of like any other game where you buy the game, now I have a ton of games on my steam that I spent tens of even hundreds of dollars that I played only 20-50 hours range (most games I buy I usually play between 20-50 hours for some reason) whereas if I spend the same amount on stake I usually play a lot longer and have a lot more fun.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2019-03-11] Monero Successfully Upgrades Its Protocol on: March 13, 2019, 08:49:08 AM
Monero (XMR) strives to differentiate itself from other cryptocurrencies by focusing on privacy and security. With the aim of enhancing these features, the Monero team has completed a network upgrade — involving about a million updates.

https://bitcoinist.com/monero-successfully-upgrades-its-protocol/
I think this is a good thing done by the monero team because it is what is needed at this point in time where government of countries are finding every way possible to track crypto holders so that they can be able to tax them, I learnt that if you own crypto in a country, you can be arrested by the crime department of that country saying that you are involved in theft.

I believe this will cause a mass adoption in crypto and make it more difficult for government agencies to track us and see the transactions we make.
229  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Vs Lotto on: March 13, 2019, 07:25:25 AM
We can't change the fact that lottery is more popular than bitcoin and so people that don't know what bitcoin is will just keep their eye to win on the lottery's jackpot. If they just know that they're wasting their money on a less than 1% of chances of winning. Statistics says, that there is more higher chances of getting struck by thunder than hitting the jackpot.

I wonder how much now is their money if they invest it on bitcoin. Huh
I believe that majority of these lotto people will surely invest in Bitcoin if they are being exposed to it, we need to look at the group of people into lotto, are they even aware of the existence of a digital currency other than the fiat currency they are used to, that is why we still need to do lots from our own part by creating more awareness to this, starting from the lotto companies themselves, are these lotto companies even encouraging the growth of crypto currency by making crypto an option on the payment system they have.

If lotto companies themselves have not adopted or accepted the system, how then would lotto players be aware of it for them to start investing, we just still need to give them little time more and I am sure majority of them will eventually  come on board even though we still cannot take lotto away from them completely no matter what.
230  Economy / Gambling / Re: OneHash || Mutual Sports Betting & Casino 🎲 || No Registration or KYC 💰 on: March 12, 2019, 07:51:26 PM
Yeah, there is a thin line between having a superb feature on your website and removing it. If you decide to remove it all together we would understand because you have been hurt by the random fraudsters who tried to take advantage of your good will and took your money in vain. However, we would love for you to know that there are people who are willing to actually do it the right way and be with you.

I am not gonna lie I didn't know about it when it existed so I can't say how much I would be of help but I would be at least trying to join and see what it is to say the least. We are supporting you whatever your decision is but we hope you will find a way to prevent abuse and bring it back so we could check it out and try it, we love onehash to promote it anywhere we can.
231  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin spike on: March 12, 2019, 07:21:43 PM
Bitcoin's spike 20$k on December 2017
What cloud be the next spike level and when???
If I am to speculate the spike for this year, we might be looking at roughly $6000 because I don’t see BTC spiking to that amount this year again since the halving of BTC will not occur until next year.

The increase that will be experience this year will just be the normal market doing fine as a result of more users coming into the system but practically, bull run , I don’t see it any time soon, what happened in 2017 was abnormal and that was why it corrected itself, the price was too high  that if it had continued, poor people would have become poorer while rich people become richer because talking about BTC investment, it is only a very reach man than can invest and but over a thousand btc at once.
232  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do a lot of western governments like bitcoin and dislike banks? on: March 12, 2019, 06:42:04 PM
This is not so simple. Some governments maybe don't like banks very much but they are still depending on them because that is how economy is functioning. Western governments mainly support progress and Bitcoin is that category. They also realize that cryptocurrencies have become inevitable part of society and they should accept it or at least not ban it. But they will never replace fiat with Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency, that is the truth.

So to speak, governments have been tolerating them. I think governments don't like banks very much because of how they don't have complete control or authority among them. In retrospect, they are able to circumvent the government's clutches in some ways. Also, the government has no choice but to rely on banks.

With regards to regulating crypto, I believe that governments have no choice but to tolerate them as well since they cannot eliminate its presence in the country. Some have chosen to completely ban it to avoid complications of regulating or compliance but others have chosen to impose their own regulations for bitcoin so that they may have some control over its adoption.
That is for the countries who are not corrupt and has transparency to the fullest in their system but for most government who does not operate a transparent system, they are the bank themselves which makes the government the problem of the financial institutions and that is why they are fighting against the crypto currency system because the fiat system pay them more.

We have a lot of government that dislike the crypto system, like in my country, the government are the central bank themselves and they quite kick against the adoption of this so called crypto but it is just a matter of time before they have no choice than to prefer it to the banking system.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum and Bitcoin Cash getting closer. What next? on: March 12, 2019, 05:49:29 PM
In my own opinion BCH can anytime overtake Eth this year and will not be impossible since BCH has just limited supply like Bitcoin and is an improvised Bitcoin itself.
bitcoin exceptional, they move based on the market itself, even they can move the market. Therefore this move also follows cash Bitcoin on the market. even altcoin like ethereum and more still waiting for bitcoin moves up.
You are right. Ethereum seems to be still dependent to BTC’s price as we can observe the market. We don’t know in the future since Vitalik has recently boasted and compared his eth as a smartphone while btc is like a calculator he said.  Grin
I think most altcoins are still depending on BTC price which ETH is not exclusive even though they all operate on a different purpose or system, but I really wonder why they all have to depend on BTC to rise if they all claim they have very viable projects and strong community.

I think the reason why I feel they all depend on BTC is because of the communities they share in common, most of the communities in BTC are the same investing in some of these coins like ETH because they require BTC as exchange for their own coin and until they learn to be independent before they can experience a major growth though it will be difficult knowing fully well that BTC is the most widely accepted crypto.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Skam or a way to make money? on: March 12, 2019, 05:12:19 PM
Many when they hear about cryptocurrency believe that this is a quick way to enrich. Others say that cryptocurrency is over and we must go. Most often, I hear a conversation about cryptocurrency from those people who did not even use it.
Now I know that cryptocurrency is growing much better than falling.

What are your thoughts on this?
This is the idea they get from people who invites them to the crypto ecosystem, they tell them that crypto is the best way to make free money which turns out not to be the case and they end up losing a lot of money making investment in scam platforms, or buying coins that might not have any real value in the future.

We should tell newbies the truth about crypto before they go into it so that they will not be taken unaware, or better still refer them to a blockchain consultant.
235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which you prefer to Gambling, on betting DApp or Gambling in Dice site? on: March 11, 2019, 08:30:31 PM
I still prefer playing in dice site because that's what I practice for how many years. Also, this is my first time to hear or read about DApp although i'm seeing fine about them on previous comments. Haven't try it but it was sportsbetting right. So I don't think I'll get hook with it since i'm a dice player.
Dice players usually don’t go for anything else rather then playing a dice game. For me, dice has been always proved a lot tricky and it is really much difficult for me to gain any huge profits out in dice but I would personally love sportsbetting. Sports makes me feel more energetic and also I can probably gamble on with sports if the match goes in my favor.

Hence, I would personally prefer going for sportsbetting but if you are a experienced dice player than there is no need to go for anything else.
236  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com 2 Just Launched! New games, updated design 💎💣🎰🎲♠️ on: March 11, 2019, 07:42:27 PM
Feels like a stake coin wouldn't really hurt, I mean not to make it purely stake coin based website but adding it is fine. Think about it, if you are a person who would like to play with bitcoin than go ahead and play with bitcoin, if you want to play with ethereum than go ahead and play with ethereum, however if you wanna play with stake coin than you would be capable of doing that as well.

Adding stake coin is not taking away from anyone, its not hurting anyone neither, it can be even off-market thing where you can't just buy and sell but only use on the website via certain exchange rate controlled by stake so you could play with stake coin but withdraw in other coins. I think it has a lot of benefits to consider whereas it doesn't really have any negatives that I can see right now.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Neglect Projects that Promise Eternity, Yet have Nothing to Good to Offer on: March 11, 2019, 02:34:07 PM
Honestly, I truly understand your point and it makes so much points but the problem with this is that it is quite stressful and difficult to thoroughly scrutinize projects before you invest in it, because there are so many projects out there that you are being exposed to everyday and except the project is on recommendation, you will find it difficult to do.

The best is to always go for the recommended one and not just dabbling into it first but at least through recommendations, it would have filtered it and give us the time to read, study and investigate the project.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 3.75% of Americans ready to invest in ICO? on: March 11, 2019, 09:28:17 AM
25% of Americans know about ICOs

15% of them plan to make investment via ICOs!

15% of 25%= Around 3.75%
Even much more than that are ready to invest in ICO but the government don't make it easy for the american citizens to participate in ICO or even invest in any kind of crypto project that haven't been registered by the government, this is why a lot of companies that carry out ICO and create exchanges always restricts American citizens from participating, so that they won't face any kind of issues in the future.

when some kind of regulation of the ICO market by the government appears, the numbers will be completely different.
I do not expect anything like that will be possible in near future. Because, this forum is purely decentralized in this regard hence we need to take ourselves secure by our own not by any authority hence no law will be possible to bind ICO operators. It means those number may change slowly as regulations is very unlikely to happen.
239  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Trade cryptocurrencies comfortably with profit on: March 10, 2019, 09:05:33 PM
Keeping calm while you trade is really hard to implement. I may agree that having a mind set will probably help you reduce panic when your entry isn't the way it supposed to be. But when you do have a patience, you still earn some profit even the situation wasn't that as expected.
When I made up my mind to choose the line of trading and I decided to go for the proper training, my mentor said one thing to me, he said, never you go into trading when you are not mentally and emotionally prepared for it and how can you be mentally and emotional be prepared.

Never see trading as a get rich quick scheme even when it eventually does, never see it as a matter of life and death and never trade with money you cannot afford to lose and lastly, see every failure as an experience to learn more. With this, we can be patient enough when trading till we are able to become a professional trader, then we can invest more into it.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is the king of Altcoin? on: March 10, 2019, 05:41:13 PM
Everyone has their own separate opinion and projects they all believed strongly in, so to really say a particular altcoins is superior to another is based on opinion I think except the popular one we all know of COINS which is bitcoin.

ETH seems king based on its popularity and widely acceptance but a personally, my own king of altcoins is XRP. Ripple once top ethereum to become the most valuable altcoins in the whole world before ethereum eventually fought its way back which I believe ripple will over run it soon.
