221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, STO, and now IEO,.. a little later XYZ and they are all the same! on: March 14, 2019, 11:11:38 AM
Because it is the best regardless of the scam events that has occurred.

what is best about it, would you mind explaining that to me?
because in the past 3 years that i have been seeing thousands of ICOs i have not yet seen even one that is actually doing something with the money they received. i call that scam not when they obviously scam people!
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth's difficulty bomb didn't work at all? on: March 14, 2019, 10:57:00 AM
the difficulty bomb was implanted the first day that ETH was released which is about 4 years ago because by that time their roadmap was to premine a huge amount of ETH and then force PoS and make a lot of money by sitting around and taking the profit out.

then they failed to release that fork which meant they had to remove that nonsense from the code which they did about 2 years ago around the same time when they split the chain into ETC/ETH.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / ICO, STO, and now IEO,.. a little later XYZ and they are all the same! on: March 14, 2019, 10:54:15 AM
nowadays we are witnessing the death of "raising funds with offering coins" which is known as ICOs but it seems like they keep trying to come up with different names for the same thing to try and keep it going a little longer. it was first STOs which failed and now it is IEOs which are even worst than anything they have done before because they are centralizing it to exchanges which are already shady and unsafe.

how much longer do you think this is going to last?
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: There should be huge wave of drop sometime in March to May on: March 13, 2019, 11:26:28 AM
that doesn't make any sense Cheesy

i think you have heard or read something and you misunderstood it or only took half of it to your heard while ignoring the other half!

it is true that because bitcoin is stable there are pumps happening in small altcoins, it has always been like this and it is simply because traders want to make profit elsewhere before they go back to bitcoin.

but the next step is when bitcoin starts rising (because it was in accumulation stage and was getting ready for the rise in stable levels) and then altcoins get dumped because traders leave them behind to go back to bitcoin.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This IS The End Of The Bear Market [Inside] on: March 13, 2019, 11:14:04 AM
for a lot of the altcoins this current stage is only a temporary period of time where the whales allow the market to take breath and let the order books be filled with some more buy orders so that in the next step when they start dumping, they can dump a bigger amount of coins before the big crash happens because now there is no buy orders in the order books they are filling where they weren't before because people knew the dumping is going to come.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 📈 WORST EXCHANGE? for me.. IDEX, the nightmare for human trading. JUST BOTS!📊 on: March 13, 2019, 11:06:31 AM
i don't think your frustrations have anything to do with bots! it is all because of the low liquidity of the exchange otherwise bots can not do any damage to other traders as long as you are making good decisions.

for example if you speculate some shitcoin is going to get pumped today and you want to get in now and get out after you have made 30% profit, existence of bots is not going to change this solid strategy!
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Its Ethereum on: March 13, 2019, 10:55:35 AM
There are 2 more forks which was meant to give new coin but for your info, both of those are fake. One is ethereum classic vision and another is ethereum nova. Since ETH is going to change itself to PoS, people will possibly invest some more money to ETH. PoS coins give some staking rewards and it will be a good chance to accumulate some more ETH.
Yes, both coins that have been talked about a lot lately, like separating from ethereum on January 11 and 12 - ETN and ETCV, turned out to be fraud. In both cases, it all came down to taking possession of the secret keys of the ethereum holders' purses under the pretext of issuing free forks. Unfortunately, this once again showed the current threatening level of cryptocurrency fraud.
However, we will go further and wait in three days for the long-awaited improvements in ethereum. Let us hope that they will raise this coin to a new qualitative level.

Your expectation from ETN and ETCV should not be high. Very likely SCAM in these two projects!

No need to worry about Ethereum Constantinapole. It's already done by the official Ethereum community, and I think it's a very good upgrade.

those two cases were obviously trying to scam people taking advantage of a drama in the market and they used the fact that most people are very uninformed when it comes to anything technical.
otherwise ETH hardfork is still a very risky move and it can end up splitting the network into two and end up with two different coins that crash the price of it both.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looked back - lost! on: March 13, 2019, 10:45:26 AM
We can still recover what we have lost, crypto trading is not gambling. Here we can mitigate our risk and as we mature we can make the right decisions that will make us to book more profits so don't be dishearten by our lost.

yes and no.
many altcoins as we all know are only being manipulated and pumped and that means there is no way that you can predict them properly. as a result if you attempt trading them you will be making bets which is more like gambling rather than trading.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency is too complicated on: March 13, 2019, 10:38:12 AM
i think it is just you who are finding it too complicated because you had some bad experiences with badly designed programs. otherwise there are good ones too. for example the bitcoin wallets such as electrum have been making life so much easier for regular users, although the same thing is rarely found in an altcoin because real developers never bother with pump and dumps, it would be a waste of their time. .
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Did you the sudden rise? on: March 11, 2019, 11:34:19 AM
i feel like i have been repeating the same thing for the past 3 years Cheesy

altcoins get pumped, they specifically get bigger pumps when bitcoin is stable.
what is the reason? it is simple, investors in this market need profit and when bitcoin is stable they can not make profit that way. they also want to increase the amount of bitcoin they are holding. so what should they do at times like this? they go ahead and pump shitcoins, specially the ones with smaller markets. they make profits like 500% in 3 days and then pull their bitcoins that are now 5 times more out and enjoy the rise of bitcoin price which is coming soon!
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enjin [ENJ] Coin Gains 400% in a Fortnight as Samsung Creates Euphoria in the Cr on: March 11, 2019, 11:01:40 AM
at times like these there are lots of smaller altcoins that are getting pumped every day. that is not surprise and it doesn't have to have any reason so coming up with weird stuff about them is just a waste of time. take a look around the market and you will find at least a dozen of them have was pumped just as big in the past 3 weeks.
all of it is happening because bitcoin once again is stable!
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looked back - lost! on: March 11, 2019, 10:53:10 AM
but do not look back.
We need to move only forward, what do you think?

i think you are wrong.
you MUST look back and learn from your mistakes otherwise you will continue to repeat them over and over again and each time lose a bigger amount of money.

making mistakes are ok, everyone makes them but what makes only a few people successful millionaires is their attitude towards the mistakes they made. for example newbies continue getting in on top of bubbles when the shitcoins are pumped, others get in when the pump is starting and get out when those newbies are getting in.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Favorite PoS coins on: March 11, 2019, 10:37:34 AM
it is true that PoS is unlike PoW and doesn't have that power consumption but PoS has a very serious flaw which is why none of the coins that are using that algorithm has ever gained any meaningful popularity and remain useless.

that flaw is the fact that they pay you only if you have a "stake" in the coin. it is like making the rich richer. and they all increase inflation and help the price drop become faster as everyone dumps their easily earned prizes.
234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to calculate the bottom of Bitcoin? on: March 09, 2019, 12:44:15 PM
instead of focusing all day long on tiny things that have a tiny chance of happening you should start focusing on the reality and what you have been missing all these years by having a bad mentality!

price can fall, miners can go away, 51% attack can happen and an asteroid can hit the earth but all the while nothing of these are happening and bitcoin has been growing for ten years solid.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: JP Morgan Coin only created to dump XRP price? on: March 09, 2019, 12:37:44 PM
This is merely a coin with that much value attached to it if you ask me i will tell you that is just meant for experimentation of blockchain once they have the basic number of users and it seems profitable for them they will make it more crypto related but for now is more like a dummy coin
They announce about this coin and they will make a serious development about this.
It would not impact in crypto to be considered this as an investment since it's a stable coin, but certainly it can help the adoption.
XRP is still at good price, until we see it's impact I don't see it will and this coin is exclusive for the bank alone while XRP for different banks who like to adopt.

you are missing the important part of the reason why JPcoin is a threat to shitcoins like XRP!
it is a bank created coin and is going to be sold to the banks both as a token and as a technology. and this is something that Ripple has been desperately trying and failing and now there is a big player (a multi million dollar bank) in the game that is going to take that little market they had out of their hands.

sure it will continue being a centralized pump and dump shitcoin and continue being traded on exchanges but this just hastened its demise...
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: yobit dice gone? on: March 09, 2019, 12:27:31 PM
Are you not realizing that yobit is turning out to be a scam and users are already leaving that platform to better exchange like binance or any other trusted exchange that is in existence.

Yobit is not turning out to be scam, it has always been a shitty exchange with shady behavior from day one that it opened up and started advertising on bitcointalk to gain lots of newbies!

besides that seems to be the pattern with ALL the exchanges. they start good and they all end up scamming eventually.
4+ years ago it was Cryptsy that was the biggest exchange that people trusted. it scammed people
3 years ago it was Poloniex and ended up the same place
2 years ago it was Bittrex and ....
now it is Binance....
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Neglect Projects that Promise Eternity, Yet have Nothing to Good to Offer on: March 09, 2019, 12:19:42 PM
you have stumbled upon the biggest problem that the altcoin market has been facing for a very long time now and everyone has been trying to either ignore it or sweep it under the rug. and many don't even care about it.
you may wonder why it is like this, it is simply because people want to make money and they do not care about the technology at all. and when a useless coin that has strong pumping team behind it that can pump it to 1000% and more gives them more profit than a real good project that obviously doesn't have a pumping team and can't go high doesn't give them profit, they choose the shitcoin over the good coin any day of the week.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fortnite, PUBG, DOTA 2, Hearthstone, Apex coming to blockchain? Mass adoption? on: March 09, 2019, 12:08:14 PM
wait i am confused, how is this a new thing?!!

i have been around for a while now and from first days i have seen the same things be around. in fact one of the first things that i saw about bitcoin even before i became a BitcoinHodler was a gambling game with bitcoin, i think it was a betting game on Dota 2 international 5 if i am not mistaken where you could make bets with bitcoin on the teams and their outcome!!!
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum and Ethereum classic on: March 09, 2019, 11:56:05 AM
it is interesting to see this old topic be bumped by some random user since it lets us see how nothing has changed, people are still repeating the same cliches as before and all the time  they were telling people price is going to rise over the past year, it actually was dropping.
so OP has already lost more than half of his money if he listened to them.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When will Ravencoin hit $0.10 ? on: March 09, 2019, 11:45:20 AM
i keep telling people for a couple of years that times like this are like a gold mine in altcoin market!

bitcoin is currently stable and is getting ready for a big rise to the moon like 2017 but until it starts rising, day traders can not make profit from its stable price. so what do they do for profit? they go to smaller altcoins with low prices and low ranks in coinmarketcap and start pumping them big time and make lots of profit from them.

then as soon as bitcoin started its rise they dump all the altcoins which is why altcoins crash each time bitcoin rallies.
