its been quite a pain during the summer. if i turn the fans around and point them into the interior of the house in the basement, the house will get very hot.

when i go over 5000kw i have to pay 0.068  Angry
Mind if i ask your location? Where I am it is $0.0748 for the first 2MW then $0.0799, until next month when rates change to $0.0678 for first MW and then $0.0617.

I pay 0.064 for elec. And its still profitable. I get about .1-.14 btc a day.

my elec bill is around 400

and they are all undervolted. 6.6th and about 60mh scrypt

Never move, that's a good rate.

Indeed that is very nice, especially when you factor in it heats the flooring Tongue .

Installed the pair of AntMiner S3+s in a case at my office today.  Oddly, when I built it at home and turned it on, the power supply showed it was running idle at 78-79watts (network switch not connected), but at the office here after I powered it in (with network switch connected) is showing about 725watts which I thought it wouldn't do until I set it to mine.  Anyway, I hoped it wouldn't blow any fuses having a couple computers, printer, etc. plugged into the same socket and luckily it didn't.  So all is good so far.  Power supply shows it's running at 91% efficiency and in case temp is at 103F.

Now being a newbie, I've got to set up the rest.  Downloaded CGMiner 4.6.1 so tomorrow I'll start setting up the rest, but being absolutely new I hope it doesn't take long to get it up and running.

Nice case, i keep seeing these s3 in cases, what is that monitoring screen.

In case anyone wants to see how tight a fit two S3's in the smaller Corsair Carbide Air 240 case.

Love the flat black look of the case.

I'm guessing you'd need to flip the S3s over to hide the cables Wink

amy recommendations on a case that can fit 3 plus a PSU off the shelf?

You can fit 3x S3 in a 540 with a PSU or 2x PSU.

What do you use as your solar power? I am looking into getting into solar energy in the future and wanted to see some setups.
Some Japanese 255Watt panels with micro inverters. 230V sockets on it, plug & play
On panels 10 years warranty, on the micro inverters 25 years
Do you mind to link them, or have a brand name  by any chance?

Nice, but is antminer s1 still profitable to mine?
1.1W/GH ... not so bad at all... Cheap/free power (solar), no investment....

Hi
what system are you using for the temperature monitoring,

thanks
Paul

A raspberry pi with some cheap ebay (waterproof) sensors
