221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When is Gambling Like Investing on: November 27, 2016, 03:09:15 AM
I'm not a fan of gambling by itself, but instead as a way of studying and learning about other things.  For instance, I'm sure that if elderly people kept playing card games, it would help keep their minds alert.  Studying poker involves studying human nature and probabilities.   There are other aspects like studying risk in gambling, which is like studying risk in investing.

Does anyone have any examples of how gambling is like investing?

Irs not investing . In gambing you can win or lose while ininvesting if you invest in not scam sites you can earn surely.
222  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How to make 1 bitcoin in a month or 2? on: November 27, 2016, 02:28:05 AM
Hi, I am looking for a way to earn some money without invest(because I am broke), I can dedicate 2 hours a day in that. what can I do to make a bitcoin per month without any investment?

Try signature campaign and if you already earn from it you can do investing. Investing is much more safer and credible in bringing btc it just that it needs a little more time.

Sometimes people ask me "What makes Bitcoin so secure? Why is this technology so safe?

How would you answer this question? Do I have to answer it with regards to Proof of Work?

Thanks for your thoughts on this  Smiley

I think its because you alone can monitor your accounts. You can monitor your investments and trading transactions and if ever there is scam it will report immediately. We need a good strategy and smart decisioning in Bitcoin world.

232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit Gambling. on: September 28, 2016, 04:41:24 AM
Stopping with gambling is not so hard if you are doing it on a good way you have to trust yourself and stay focused.
You have to keep repeating the steps to stop, over and over.

Quitting gambling is not just easy that you say that it is not hard maybe because you are not an addicted one. I've been through with it and upon being an addicted gambler I really wanted to stop by myself. But it is not really easy at first if you don't have the will power you are not really going to make it but if you really can't ask someone to help you to give you advice.

yeah. It is impossible if you still have funds on your wallet that sufficient for gambling. Maybe you can reduce it but stopping is very hard to do.
But it is a case to case basis, My opinion is just based on my personal experience
233  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: September 28, 2016, 04:37:28 AM
It depends on the standard of living that you consider satisfactory, and the country where you will live, since the cost of living is an important factor. But I believe that anywhere, 100 BTCs would be enough in twenty years.
Well, if you will just live within your means then 100 BTC is even more than enough to enjoy life, if I will be ask I would also make the same answer because I do not want to live a lavish life to be happy, I just want my life to be simple and do a healthy living with my family.

100BTC is too much considering it's price 20 years from now. But if you want to have chill life, then go on and stock now some BTC while it's price is cheap.
234  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: September 28, 2016, 04:35:47 AM
I am having hard time to think about if kids do really need to learn what is bitcoin or we adults must teach them either.

Because I am thinking that teaching them new things are good so that they are going to have broad knowledge in everything. But if they are going to think about earning.

Then that is going to be a different thing now because if a kid eagerly to work at young age that is going to effect his childhood.

Playing with a faucet doesn't affect his childhood at all. There are even games for smartphones and tablets that you can install for them to play and earn Bitcoin while doing so. Not much, but just tell them that they can buy sweets or something with the earned cash and I'm sure they will instantly go play. It's fun for kids to play games, and why wouldn't they play a game while earning money too?

Maybe you should suggest to your kids to play a bitcoin app games, There are so many entertaining games that plays bitcoin, Like bitcoinaliens games. It is really fun at the same time you will have chance to earn money event if it is not a high amount. This is the best game to be suggest to kids
235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how much time you have spent gambling? on: September 28, 2016, 04:32:03 AM
Well not too much because i don't play gambling every days, i have made simple rules for play gambling. If i have got profit from trading i will play gambling and if i don't got profit i must stop play gambling although i still have bitcoin. I have spent about 1-2 hours every weeks.

nice rules for keeping balance in trading and gambling. Do you really follow your rules? I mean do you actually stop gambling even if you have funds. Because it is very hard to stop once you start already

237  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling a cheap hero account on: September 19, 2016, 05:04:44 AM
To all buyers, recently many accounts have been hacked so before buying should ask for signed message from an old address which is posted at least a few months back to avoid any issues later on.

OP, please mention whether you can provide a signed message from old address?

What if the account has no post?
I think your question is "what if the account did not post a btc address" because its not possible to reach Hero status without a post

you can check the address on its application to signature campaign, because it is very rare for a hero member to not joined in any signature campaign.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY n°2] NEWBIUM: Post and get some rewards on: September 19, 2016, 05:01:54 AM

Top earner for the week is: sulendra12 - usd 73.9

Average rewards per post: usd 0.99

The median payment per post: usd 0.40

I will be the top earners on next update. I hope you just put the projection date of the campaign so that you will not post extending update per week, Because personally my interest is gone once i saw that this campaign is nearly to end but soon to extend.
239  Other / Off-topic / Re: Negative price on: September 19, 2016, 04:45:42 AM
lolol! there are not even a possibility of having negative price, since you would still have to pay the commission.
unless the world is upside down.

yeah. hahaha. if that gonna happened, I bitcoin is gone and many people will become poor because a lot of funds is already invested in bitcoins, even alt coins will be affected
240  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Paypal a scam? on: September 19, 2016, 04:42:59 AM
it's not that paypal is scamming people since they have a lot to lose. however, they work with ridiculous policies that gives them (according to paypal) reason to put your funds on hold for whatever reason. even when you haven't done anything illegal. that's why i don't use paypal. i am happy bitcoin came into my life.

That means that their security is strong and not easy to bypass, I think you will not have problem if you just follow their rules and policy and I object to the people who complained that they have some issue on paypal without doing anything that illegal. I think there's a story behind that.
