221  Economy / Gambling / Re: AI has beaten top poker professionals on: January 26, 2018, 10:35:39 AM
I don't want to play against someone who doesn't care about paying his bills while playing poker. AI seems to be that kind of emotionless opponent. It is so hard to bluff AI. Ya, you can win one or two hands but in the long run, you will run out of diverse patterns while AI will be learning and improving with your every move. Not only that AI will have the access to millions of hands played by other people in that very specific scenario which is enough to beat f normal players like me.
But again there are chess engines who can beat even top-class grandmasters but still in the real world you have to play against only live human being.
So, yes in the world of online poker it is very hard to determine if you are playing against AI or real player but I don't think in live poker matches it will be a big deal.

For sure this is just for an online kind of poker, so poker faces and bluffing would be different if it is online. It is quite a lot easier to determine the play style of a player that is online since the AI just needs a few games before it would be able to know the play style of its opponent. What that means is that if it knows how you play then it would be able to determine what are your tendencies. The thing is, it can analysis indeed the millions of hands it has in its data base and base its decision from there. there is really no new player style so I guess it would just depend on how quick an AI will do a read and decide what kind of player it is playing against.
222  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: January 25, 2018, 11:59:40 PM
FJ should let players pay the fee and withdraw whatever and whenever they want

This would be a great solution. For now fortunejack pays the withdrawal fee, the withdrawal fee is quite expensive nowadays so the option to withdraw instantly without inflicting any financial loss to fortunejack is let the player pays the fee. I am being honest right now and that 2x wagering requirement is going to scare alot of potential player

So you think people should be able to use FJ as a wallet? I really don't see the point in them removing it, either they could add a fee that means that people who are not wagering will pay for all the fees that FJ encounter or they keep it as is with 2x wager requirement. I get that people might deposit but then regret that they did and want to take their money out but I'm not sure that FJ should be held liable for that and thus pay for all the withdraw fees.

I also do not see the point of having people use FJ or anything gambling site as a wallet. This is a disruption of the business and just causes problems for the operator. FJ has been quite generous to pay for the transaction fees, and they aren't a cheapskate when it comes to fees. They also have bitgo enabled which is so useful.

Like I said here,

Why 2X wagering requirement?

If removed then I want to play on this site.

I believe this was put in place because FJ is controlling the players that just use the platform as a "wallet" of sorts. Because FJ doesn't really charge players for transaction/miners fee (which is extremely awesome!), I think having a wagering requirement of at least x2 (which is actually easy to do if you are really gambling) is necessary so that users cannot abuse the free withdrawals.

Not completely sure about my answer, because it is just a theory. Would love to hear why they really placed it.

The wagering requirement prevents people from using FJ as a wallet. x2 roll over isn't hard, you can even get that in 2 rolls on dice. If it was just x1, then it would be extremely easy that would result to people abusing the system and would be able to use FJ as a wallet with just a little difficulty.
223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mobile Legends Gambling on: January 25, 2018, 11:48:44 PM
It seems I missed an update, I have not read back yet so kinda ask if there is a game already started yet?  As far as I remember I promised to shoulder the betting amount of a team but then there is no pm regarding this matter so I guess, I can assume that there is not a single game started yet.

There is an upcoming match now between my team and TAIK KEBO led by user HabiebRiziq and just settling the schedule.

I will post the pre-match details later on.

You can still formed a team and you can take reference on the list I posted above, few post from here.

wow this is a pretty good idea, we can have fun here, but is the bet already balanced enough?
and it is true like the comments below what about the connection and what else?
it needs to be explained also, so that we as a team who can participate feel good in this fight
oh yes one more what if it turns out there cheaters to win this prize?

Mobile Legends supports most of the ISP's so it will not be a problem. You can test your connection in-game.

About cheaters, maybe it's possible but the game can be recorded for reference and replays and I will post it here. And as far as Mobile Legends developers action is concerned, they are good in handling cheaters and bug issues.

I can be spectator and create a custom games for you guys, I can even record it. It would be nice if others could gamble for this as well. Basically right now we can only choose which team to win BO3 game to make it easier , after that we can made improvement from that? This is a great major step

Gambling is really something fascinating. We can gamble about anything even mobile games nowadays like what you guys want to do. I just hope it gets a real platform where it would be official to gamble on these games. It's quite hard to just do it this way, since there is really a lot of problems that may arise out of this transaction. Like it might have some sort of collusion, no rules established, who holds the bets, etc. So much things might go wrong.
224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My attempt to double money through sports betting on: January 25, 2018, 11:38:39 PM
I was try to double my amount in sports betting thru parlay, however the risk is much higher compared to single betting. Because once one of the bet lose even your 5 or 10 bet wins you will lose. Due to during your betting was always rolling every time you win.
Other than that if you want to double your amount to just bet on the team or people who have low percentage of winning.

IMO, I'm better to gamble with single betting rather than parlay and guess what ? I win up to 7x from initial deposit.
Well if you ask me what I'm bet is I'm bet the result for last final world cup and the result is Draw which made me 0.05 profit.
It's feel awesome , man !

Though one good parlay could earn you x50 in a jiffy. Although the higher the multiplier the harder it is to win, but I've seen quite a lot of these parlay bet slips win, just go on nitrogen and check their parlay competition and see for yourself. Some of them even wins 50 BTC just because of that betslip. I can't imagine what I'll do with a 50 BTC win if I just bet about 1mBTC. Though that would require a miracle to win.
225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Shyness in gambling on: January 25, 2018, 11:31:49 PM
absolutely no even I live in a close minded environment ( in the middle east )
There is nothing wrong at all with gambling as long as you gamble responsibly , people here make like 80$ a month working normal jobs while this can easily be achieved in one bet or event( of course I'm talking about +EV gambling )

so don't you ever be shy , there is nothing wrong at all with that and people who attack gambling usually don't know how professional gamblers make money

Although you shouldn't really compare gambling with work. they are completely different should not be mixed. Gambling will indeed make you a quick fortune, but the chances of doing it would extremely be low. And risking it will definitely be on you and no one can change the result nor reverse what you have done. Working may be boring and slow, but that is the way it should be. Just gamble for the fun of it not to earn.
226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: List of Sports Betting Thread Prediction on: January 25, 2018, 10:35:50 PM
Other than just username and link to thread, I think it will be nice and more informative if you can add few more tables like below;

Rank (based on win%) | User | Link/Thread | Total Prediction | Wins | Losses | Win %

Also if you can than list them according to win % so that thread with more profitable tips will always remain in top.

Good Idea. Actually that's what I'm planning. I'm still collecting data for each tipster thread. You can help me gathering this info so that the process will be more faster. I will contact each user that listed above to request for their statistics report of their prediction thread, maybe tomorrow since I'm still busy on my personal matters thingy. Thanks for giving feedback here.

It would be hard to implement but indeed that is a good idea. Best to probably just do this on a spreadsheet, as it would be extremely hard to always type out the percentages. Although you can have some sort of formula on the sheet that would output a formatted version that you can just paste on this thread, but it is still much work.

Good luck though on compiling that data. It would definitely be an extreme challenge, as you need to constantly check:
a. The tipster thread
b. Their posted tips
c. If the tip won
d. Input data on sheet
e. Output data here.

Maybe someone can write a bot for it.
227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: With which coin would you like to wager in a casino? on: January 24, 2018, 06:34:23 AM
Voted for Doge and LTC, though would have voted for XMR if it was there. So far DOGE and LTC has grown pretty high and the volatility is killing it for me. I would prefer something a lot more stable. But hey, everything in the cryptoworld is quite volatile these days. I don't think it would stabilize in the near future, maybe we should gamble with Tether Dollars (USDT)? Well the best ones right now is the ones with the fastest transaction with the least amount of fees required.

I'm playing on bitlser for more than year and admin always quite helpful in solving issues very polite manner.

But recently I noticed that he and his support team has become more arrogant in replying our issues. They didn't scam anything to me but noticed a different tone in their response. Is it due to they already gained sufficient trust from this community?

Did you also notice the same thing?

Hmm.. Haven't played there for a while. Though I would say I have never contacted support their either when I did. So we can't really say that they indeed changed their tone. I would say that if you want to alleged this, the very least thing you could do is truly offer proof. Though I don't think it is worth anything anyway, as long as they are giving support then there should be no problems.
230  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: want to gain 80% ? on: January 19, 2018, 11:24:16 AM
nice day to every one
any one want to gain 80% buy waves in binance (8.3 usd) and sell it in waves dex  eur / waves  (15 usd) Grin

For sure there is a catch, this could not just happen just like that. Probably it will be a hell lot hard to exchange your USD in waves when you do it. But who knows, maybe there is indeed a big arbitrage opportunity here. Though since it has been public, maybe the arbitrage opportunity is already gone.

I would still argue that lastpass would be the most unsecured way to keep your passwords in case you get hacked, virus infected, and whatever keylogger that was placed on your PC. It will be the most unsafe one ever. You all gotta try masterpass if you are on lastpass, it would be a world of a difference! Another thing I find really secure is using ledger nano S, it has a password manager on the device which is also nice.
232  Economy / Gambling / Re: What profit do doublers get? on: January 19, 2018, 11:04:18 AM
Hello, what profit do doublers get or they always lead to scam?

They are always a scam. There is no way in the world they can double the money that quick. The only way you can double your money consistently is if you can predict the future and you are able to win in every trade or every bet you place. This is extremely impossible.
233  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: BITTREX Unverified account for 0.05 BTC NO TRADING HISTORY on: January 19, 2018, 10:54:14 AM
Seriously? This shit sells for that much? I don't think anyone would pay this much for it. Even if the registration is closed, this is too much to ask for an account created for free. For sure you have not even verified your account. If this was sold at this price I would have some my two accounts there too. Oh well, good luck selling that account OP.
234  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's threat on: January 19, 2018, 10:40:09 AM
I really think that the creation of new E currency is a threat to bitcoin.
Like for example. Some investors may move their investments to other currency made.
If bitcoin for example has 100 investors in all, then several currency is made with the same value as bitcoin. (we say 3 currency)
then the 100 investors may move to other 3 currency to find more specific or easier way to earn money or inflate their investments.
Do you think these probability will occur?

That is not true, it is not a threat. First of, there are a lot of e-currencies already before bitcoins were created. The truth is, bitcoins are the threat to e-currencies. As bitcoins offer much more than what conventional e-currencies offer. Then there is the fact that e-currencies are 100% centralized as compared to bitcoins which are decentralized. In e-currencies, the company can just suddenly say "your funds are forfeited". This can be seen with paypal actually.
235  Economy / Economics / Re: what is the predicted value for BTC in end of 2018?????? on: January 19, 2018, 10:26:06 AM
I am speculating that it will be at least $25,000 before the year ends or even probably before the first quarter ends, but that would be too optimistic. Right now bitcoin prices have really gone too high to be able to support his level of trading. So I think it might be a slow climb from here on out. That's just my prediction, we all know bitcoins always do beat the expectations of everybody!
236  Economy / Goods / Re: Coin Armor - steel cryptocurrency wallet on: January 19, 2018, 10:22:00 AM
Thanks for support!

Interesting, I never knew there was a private key for bitcoins that can be passphrase encrypted. Well if this is the case then this might be a safe way to create something like this since the private key will not only be the one needed to open the wallet. Though I guess a lot of people will still be skeptical to give out the private key though, but I do think this could be an alternative to Cryptosteel which was also a kickstarter project.
237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Investments on: January 19, 2018, 10:15:31 AM

Based from your investment statistics, I am not sure if you just lost about 30 BTC or you withdrawn some of it based from the steemit post. I do hope you can also include the information about how much you have withdrawn from the casino investment to truly reflect your current standing. Although, based from what I saw, you have been in losses in the past weeks.

I've followed your thread before back when you started with just 4 BTC (if my memories serves me right) and back then you recorded a lot of profits, but when you increased your capital by a whole lot, seems you lost a lot more and you were not able to maintain the previous profits. I guess this is really because of the ICO coins you bought from Betking and Bitdice. Based from that fact, I think it was never a good idea to buy these coins and it was a lot better to just have kept the money at casino bankrolls. Just my observation.

Yes, his biggest mistake was investing in those two ICO projects. If BTC prices go up again then his losses from these two ICO investments will go even higher.

Why BTC investments are not giving so much profit from other casinos may be due to high transaction fee and slow confirmations. Many gamblers started using altcoins so his profits from other casino bankrolls are not increasing so much.

Maybe so... I also have seen the profits in traditional casinos have stagnated.
Or people are really betting with AltCoins as you say, or they are betting at casinos we can't invest.  Cheesy

I think today many gamblers using altcoin to bet because bitcoin price is really expensive and it is better to use bitcoin for another purpose. with altcoin, we can buy a lot of amounts and we can play gambling all day long although this is not a good idea to us. but since the altcoin price is down too far, we can use altcoin to try to make a profit in gambling games but I don't recommend to do this just to case the profit.
I just hate that he does not really reply on any of the message here but just keeps on posting his stats.

In 20 weeks overall you lost around 15% of your investment which is not so good. Betking performance is slightly better this week may be due to Bitcoin prices went down a lot, not because of Betking did a good performance.

Since Bitcoin transactions are slow and its transaction fees are high so many gamblers are preferring to use altcoins to gamble. That may be the reason overall profits from other bankrolls also not that attractive.

What really brought his investment down was buying those ICO tokens for the gambling sites. When BTC pumped to the moon back in December, everything dropped including his tokens for those casinos. Guess it never recovered after that event.
238  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the monetary models of cryptocurrencies are flawed! on: January 19, 2018, 06:31:36 AM
...if they are to be used for REAL WORLD money transfer and usage!!! Simply the fact that they operate with a limited supply, makes it so... Do you know any fiat-currencies with a limited money supply? No, because that would be just too stupid, right? Well guess what, that's what 99% of the crypto"currencies" use.

A friend of mine has written a piece about how an alternative model may look. Help spread the idea.

https://medium.com/@svein2122/work-backed-blockchain-money-and-decentralised-money-creation-e76886b90c3b
The real world worked with a currency like that for longer than the current system, and that was gold and silver, both are limited in quantity, you can extract more but there is a limit to how much you can extract every year, similar to the process of mining in bitcoin, so no, real economies could work with a model like this and in fact economies will thrive under it since the inflation will be way lower than right now.

I agree with this, actually gold and silver are the main assets actually backing your fiat. Gold and silver are very rare nowadays as we have excavated so much of it and it is far too difficult to get them. Just like how bitcoins are. This is the reason why Bitcoins will still be a good alternative as it has the same concept and that it is something we can trust to be true.
239  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-01-17] Japan’s Largest Bank MUFG Will Open Cryptocurrency Exchange on: January 19, 2018, 06:09:39 AM
This just goes to show that crypto is going mainstream. So hodl on to you bitcoins, ladies and gents, we're up for another wide ride this year! And for those who hasn't had any bitcoins yet, this is the right time to buy as prices are quite low against its potential increase this year. Probably if we get more of these kinds of adoption then it will likely lead to the same increase we had last year.
240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to advertise gambling site on: January 19, 2018, 05:42:33 AM
The best thing that you can do is just create a new signature campaign in here, it will attract a lot of users if you try to ask the participants to post on the gambling section only, because it will be a very targetted traffic, i do not know, just my two cents.

I agree, since this is really the biggest forum for crypto users then you can get a lot of traffic coming from this site. It is quite bolstering with gamblers and there are a lot of people that want to try something new. So I believe as well that this is the best place to be advertising your gambling site. Also, some of the best places to advertise are those cryto related blogs, trading information (coinmarketcap), and other platforms.
