I don't have a clue what OP wants here, but it amazes me what people are willing to do to make bitcoin. It's a pretty decent amount here, I'm sure everyone's going to jump all over him. But be careful. This is definitely fishy.

You can buy as much gold and silver as you want on places like Provident Metals. And yeah, Teslas are pretty valuable. On the dark markets you can buy guns that cost a lot. You can buy pretty much anything, so this question is kind of a silly one. I haven't bought anything yet.

Good catch, and hopefully you reported that post. I'll see if I can get to that one and report it as well. Don't worry about it. Lutpin is checking every single account before accepting/denying the application. I meant reporting it to the mods. I have no doubt Lutpin chooses carefully. Post like that should get deleted and shouldn't count toward activity or anything.

Surprisingl ethereum isn't dead yet. I was sort of sure that it would be by this point but there are apparently people who still believe in it strongly. I don't get it. But sometimes it takes a while for things to die, and they don't always die when you expect them to. Somebody bump this thread in a year or so.

I'd say the vast majority of people here would be very interested, but you need to post details here, more than what you did. Then you can take your pick, and watch out for the low quality posters. Their posts can get deleted or they can get banned. Good luck. Mine is taken, else I'd be interested.

...and now the dump is over and the rebound phase begins. Crazy how tough it is for bitcoin to stay down. It just doesn't want to.
Kwuckduck, I realize you probably don't answer other users, but do you actually own any bitcoin? Is it hard being a bear all the time or what?

Yes, please update. I've never had to wait more than like 2 hours max, and usually the coins come within seconds. They are pretty reliable.

I think bitcoin will continue like this and a lot of us here think it would BTC will have a bright future so the future of bitcoin the economy will be great . history shows BTC has made giant strides considering it's only 7 years old .
But it's still hard to buy a pizza with it. Lol Mass adoption doesn't mean everyone. Bitcoin is already successful and will continue to be as a means of buying illegal items and gambling. It'll grow on those things alone as long as the population keeps growing. If more merchants start accepting it, all the better. Would be nice to be able to buy food with it.

Bitcoin is more like a speculative stock than a real currency. While a few people use it to conduct transactions for goods and services, the majority buy it for speculative price appreciation. That causes wild swings up and down.
Exactly. Bitcoin is thought of as a currency but really isn't. Plus there are tons of people speculating on it, which drives the price up and down drastically because it doesn't take that much money to do so. More than I have of course, but 10 bln is not a lot for rich players. Even real currencies have volatility against each other. Usually not like bitcoin though.

All good and valid questions, and intelligent ones at that. Sounds like you did fine answering them, too. Better than I could. I don't think satoshi's coins are ever going to move and if they do, I see it as a founder's fee. Like a stock option almost.

Cows farting, methane emission. How bad is this for our fragile ozone layer? LOL, I don't expect any satoshi but I do wonder from time to time about this.

About 1.5 years in total, and it's been mostly as a spectator and not as much as an actual bitcoin stacker, though I'm trying. Watched much drama on this forum throughout the years even before I bought bitcoin. That's why I ended up making an account here, the fun. Better than contact sports, better than boxing.

It would be so nice for things to be priced and denominated in BTC, but that isn't going to happen in my lifetime. At least that's how it seems, but strange things have happened in the world. Nothing would surprise me at this point.

Give it a try for fun if all you've collected is from faucets and as long as you can afford it. Because you'll probably end up losing whatever you put down, that's the house's edge against you. And take note of where gambling has landed a lot of members here. It can become an addiction and can cause you lots of problems that you probably won't anticipate.

Well people keep saying that but since whoever will buy this account probably will use it for just signature , even IF it gets red it will still work.
Aside from that , I don't think people red tag you if you sell your account anymore , that was back in the day. If you want you can sell your account. Noone gives a shit anymore.
Au contraire. I think people are getting ever more bothered by account sales. It's not slowing up. And red trust excludes people from most sig campaigns. no one's interested in recruiting a poster with it. better to delete this thread and start again anonymously. I think most campaigns look past trust feedback from non-trusted members, i.e., non-default trust members. At least I think so. This is kind of a ridiculous auction.

The only place I've used bitcoins so far is only online.
Bitcoin is not acceptable yet in stores and local shops in my country.
I have never used bitcoin anywhere. There aren't any stores, restaurants, laundromats, anything, that accepts bitcoin. And I honestly just want to hold on to what I have. I really don't want to spend it. So even if I wanted to I couldn't.

I have seen similar accusations bandied about on 9/11 conspiracy sites. All the time. It's the most convenient way for a paranoid person to explain why someone doesn't agree with him.
However, on this forum in particular there may very well be shills for altcoins. I don't think people are actually paid to do it, but I think developers may use alts to pump their own coins. Or bash others. But mostly people are just passionate about one coin or another, or one conspiracy or another, and just post because of that passion.

I deeply regret two things. One is that I didn't become aware of bitcoin back in at least 2010, but I'm not really to blame for that. The second is that I did not buy more when the price dropped below $200 I think. And this was before the time we got stuck in the $410 to $440 range for months.
Not a lot saved, but that's true of fiat for me as well. I'm trying to accumulate bitcoin little by little, just like I do with precious metals. It all adds up over time.

An honest answer to this, for me, is either 1. HODL, or 2. Sell and plow the money into the stock market, which is still experiencing a good bull run.
I think I'd probably do the former though. Bitcoin is also in a bull run and I think it still has strong potential to skyrocket. Too the moon or beyond. And poor DOGE will still be barking at the launch pad.
